In Clash Royale, Clans are a feature where players can congregate and try to push themselves to their best potential while receiving and giving help from friends and competing with other Clans, in competition to prove their skill in Clash Royale.

How to join in a Clan?

If you are a Clash Royale beginner, you can not join a Clan. Only you reach level 3 through leveling cards and gaining more cards, you are allowed to join a Clan. Clans can have up to a maximum of 50 members. Once a Clan is full, a player will have to leave, before another is able to join.

If you are in a Clan,  you can request for other members in the clan to give you cards that you already own. This can help you out a lot on the way to upgrading a card you use a lot. You can request cards once every 8 hours, and you can get either 10 common cards or 1 rare card. Epic cards can't be requested. People who don't use them often have tons of them and give them up to have more cheast. You earn gold and experience for giving up your cards. You should not that when requesting a rare card, people will be slower to give these up and you might be wasting a card request opportunity.

How to create a Clan?

Creating a clan will cost 1000 gold though so joining an established clan might be the best option from the start until you're able to save up some serious gold. The free chests will give you 20 or so gold but each battle costs you gold and the price escalates as you level up.

Clan Score is based on the following factors:

• Ranks 1-10 are worth 50% of the point total.
• Ranks 11-20 are worth 25% of the point total.
• Ranks 21-30 are worth 12% of the point total.
• Ranks 31-40 are worth 10% of the point total.
• Ranks 41-50 are worth 3% of the point total.

Donation

You will receive Gold and XP after donating cards to Clan mates. Gold can be used to buy cards and start battles. Collecting XP will allow you to level up, which in turn makes your Crown Towers stronger! There are limits on donations. Clan Members can request cards once every 8 hours. The limits on donation you can receive per request depends on card type:

Common > 10 cards
Rare > 1 card
Epic cards cannot be donated. You also can't receive entirely new cards by request. It's necessary to first discover them through Chests.

After entering a new Clan, you must wait 2.5 hours before requesting Cards. This helps prevent players from dropping into Clans simply to receive donations, only to leave right afterward.

Below, you'll find how many cards individual Clan Mates can donate per request:

Common > 2 cards*
Rare > 1 card

*Please note that Players at Arena 1 can only donate one card per request.

Awesomely, everyone wins through donations. Not only will your Clan receive more cards, but also those who donate are paid in gold and XP.

Common > +5 Gold & 1 XP
Rare > +50 Gold & 5 XP

There are dozens of cards in Clash Royale, but you have to choose 8 of them to build your deck. It’s challenging to build a strong, versatile and balanced deck, and you have to take many factors into consideration. Today we will present you some tips that you should know when putting together your battle deck.

1.    Build a deck with average cost between 3.7 and 4.5  

It's either too week or too slow. If you have expensive units on your team, you must think about balancing that out with cheaper cards that can be deployed quickly if you opponent throws a curve ball at you.

2.    Battle deck at least includes 2 single target damage cards 

Although crowds of low Elixir minions is the most effective way to counter high cost cards, they could be wiped by aoe damage. Therefore building your deck with high HP single target damage cards is very important.



3.    Battle deck at least includes 3 AOE damage cards 



4.    Battle deck at least includes 2 tanky cards(More than 1000 HP) 



5.    Battle deck at least includes 2 anti air target cards




6.    Battle deck at least includes 1 AOE damage skill card




7.    Battle deck at least includes 1 defend building card

Today I will recommend a Hog and Mini PEKKA deck that I used to climb from 1200 trophies to 2000 trophies in Clash Royale. The Hog and Mini PEKKA are your key cards and will obviously be used to push/counter and get crowns. The Elixir cost for Hog and Mini PEKKA is 8. When you build Elixir lead or enter double Elixir time, you should find the best timing to use this combo. Many players do not have a deck built to stop both Hog and Mini PEKKA, and I usually use arrows and fireballs to make a clear path for them.

During the earlier stage of the game, the best strategy is playing defensive and generating an Elixir lead. The Hog and Mini PEKKA can crash opponent tower and crowns very fast, the only thing you have to do is finding a perfect time to use them. The nice part about having both of these cards in the same deck is that they can set up pushes for each other and clear defenses for a future push.

One of the very popular decks at early phase is making use of Goblin Barrel to take down enemy tower. This deck requires a good grasp of battlefield situation and drop Goblin Barrel at the proper time.

How to play this deck:
 
Keep pressing and pushing a lane with the hut. You can place the hut at the mid-front if you need something to block Giant, Rider, Prince, etc. Use Witch to do AOE, air defense. If you have Baby Dragon, replace Witch with it.
 
Barbarians are good at offensive and defensive. Use them to counter Wizard, Witch, Giant Skeleton, Prince, Hog Rider.
 
Arrow should be saved for opponent's Goblin Barrel, Minions, and Skeleton Army.
 
Skeleton Army, no doubt, is effective against Prince, rider. If you know the opponent has just used all AOE spells, summon Skeleton Army to attack.
 
Prince and barrel are the core of this deck. Proper timing (such as when opponent's Balloon comes out and it's likely a freeze spell will be used, or opponent's Arrow and Skeleton Army are in cooldown) will make the opponent unable to counter your combo.
 
For most time, use this combo to fight back when you have just defended a wave of enemy attack. A small tip is that you can use barrel to counter X-Bow. Remember to push a lane with hut and use the combo at the other lane.

Today I would like to share some experience with you about the "Hog Rider + Freeze" combo.

1. First created by Chief Pat

3. My own Deck


The "Hog Rider + Freeze" is a popular deck from Arena 5 to Arena 7, and there are some common combos, like:

[Hog Rider + Freeze]
 
Key of this combo is the timing of Freeze. Hog Rider will be attacked by the enemy if you cast the Freeze too early, or the Hog Rider will be dead if you cast too late. While you catch the perfect timing, you always can get an Arena Tower down.


[Hog Rider + Goblins]

In this combo, the Hog Rider should be charged to the front, and the Goblins trailing behind. The Hog and the Goblins approach tower at the same time.


[Hog Rider + AOE]

The AOE can be Baby Dragon or Wizard. AOE first then the Hog follows up.

For those people who want to take a sneak peek at Pokemon GO’s actual gameplay at GDC 2016, this is a very bad news for you. According to the official schedule, the presentation of this hotly anticipated mobile title has been cancelled. Pokemon Go has already filled a trademark for the AR catch catch-them-all game earlier this month, but It seems like the game was indeed not yet ready. 

"We have decided to forego our GDC talk on Pokémon GO in order to focus on getting the product ready for beta test and launch," says Niantic CEO John Hanke. "As much as we hate to disappoint those in the industry attending GDC, we feel our time and energy right now are best spent on making sure every aspect of the product is where we want it to be."

Pokemon Go will be free to play and see fans searching real-world locations to discover, trade, and battle Pokémon. It is expected to release for iOS and Android in 2016.

Clash Royale has been released worldwide on both iOS and Android on March 1st, along with the March update where two new chests - the Giant Chest and the Super Magical Chest as well as 6 new cards have been added in the game with 2 are brand new legendary cards. Curious about what you can get in the Super Magical chest (each at 4,600 Gems), especially the legendary cards? Well, Youtuber Clash On Gan brought us a video featuring him opening 100 Super Magic chests (460,000 Gems)! I know what you are going to react but he in fact was using a developer ipad to do this, which means he is not paying himself for doing this.

So for anyone who is wondering how many gems you need if you want to have max level legendary cards, youtuber Andrew J did a nice math job for us:

Here is the data I collected, equations I set up, and the final values at the bottom.

86 cards per to max
172 total legendary cards needed (keep in mind, you won't always get the card you need)

8 princess cards obtained
4 wiz cards obtained
12 total legendaries thus far

****172/12= 14&1/3 (the number of times that 100 super magical chests would need to be opened from the given amount) (aka, 100 times 14&1/3= approximately 1433 super magical chests that need opened)

Now, on to the net cost of that, in gems:

~$110 per 14000 gems
4600 per chest, 100 chests opened
460,000 gems spent.
****460,000/14000= ~$3,300 for this many gems

Next, total cost:

**$3,300 times 14&1/3 (will give you approximately the 172 legendary cards you need)= $47,300 (473 gem chest openings) ****473 times 14,000(gems in the largest pack)= 6,622,000 gems

Total values (will be higher, but assuming no error, and always getting the card you need):
**$47,000 , 6,622,000 gems,1433 super magical chests

Epic Games' anticipated action MOBA Paragon will start Steam Early Access on March 14. Players who own founder's packs will get access to the game and check out the beautiful game. There will be no wipe from then on.
 
The Early Access price will be between $20 and $100 depending on the packs you purchase. Founder's Pack is available for $19.99, Challenger Packs $59.99 and Master Packs $99.99. Each pack includes certain amount of skins, unlockable items, boosts, cosmetics and so on. Challenger Packs and Master Packs also include a Founder's Pack you can give to your friend.

The stylish duel action RPG KON(Knights of Night) held a press conference today in Korea to announce its closed beta test and future service schedule.

The closed beta will start on March 11th and run through March 13th. In the end of March, this game will be available on both on Google Play and App Store. In April, KON will receive the first large-scale update which will last for 2 to 3 weeks and plan its global launch in the first half of 2016.

Featuring simple action, Knight of Night is boasting its gorgeous skills, special actin and character summon. Especially, the 4 characters could transfer into different appearance. After they transfer, they will gain new skills and action. The four characters includes LYDIA using huge blade, KYLE using heavy hammer, SERENA using powerful magic and BAN using double blade.

 

At the press conference, Netmarble unveiled Duel Action System which is available for 2 characters to combat and level up. Hello Games has announced that release date for the anticipated exploration-centric title No Man's Sky is June 21, 2016 (June 24 for UK). Without an official word, it's likely that the release date is supposed to be PC and PS4's, as the developer mentioned at E3 2015 that the game would release on both platforms at the same time.

Players can preorder the game's PC and PS4 version now.  The standard edition is priced at $60 while there's also an "Explorer's Edition" for PC that's available for $150 which includes a hand-painted, Cast Metal Ship Replica in 1:35 scale.

WEBZEN today announced that the upcoming mobile MMORPG MU: Origin began the second Closed Beta on Android and the iOS platforms on the 4th of March, 2016 (UTC). The Closed Beta lasts until March 6, 2016 (UTC) with a data wipe before the official launch.

Black Desert Online just launched officially yesterday, with some issues at headstart, though. Still, the game is blowing some players mind away with the top notch graphics, detailed character creation, the huge opened sandbox world and...destructible costumes and it is allowed in both genders, making your character showing more skins as you take damage.

Dualshockers has a compilation video featuring all the destructible costumes. Check out the video after the break as well as some sexy screenshots.



The cash shop costumes price caused a stir among the Black Desert community before the launch so Daum Games adjusted the price for the whole set from $32 to $29 (currently discounted to $25, and $22 without weapons).

The official Niantic blog has announced that Pokemon GO field testing will begin later this month in Japan! This is following the news that Niantic’s Pokemon GO presentation in San Francisco was cancelled this month in order to focus on development of the game.

The Pokémon Company and Niantic will be inviting users to field test Pokémon GO in Japan later this month. The Pokémon GO field test program will give users the opportunity to share early feedback and help improve the Pokémon GO experience.  Please stay tuned for information about expansion of the field test to other markets.

Focusing on massive PvP war, Bless Online is a Unreal Engine 3 MMORPG where 2 warring nations are constantly fighting each other. However, the game which started open beta in Korea in January had just merged its 11 servers to 5.
 
The developer Neowiz Games said the merge helped balance server population and prepare for the future city siege content. They hoped with server merge, the 100v100 war would attract more players. Obviously the game was facing player number decline and the game had to take action to maintain the player number in each server.
 
There's rumor that Bless Online will come to the west and be published by Daum Games.
