KON(Knights of Night) is a brand new action RPG developed by Netmarble. And Knights of Night is another highly anticipated Mobile RPG besides for Raven.

Gearbox's team-based shooter Battleborn will enter open beta worldwide on April 8th, and you will be available to experience 25 unique heroes in different game modes. As a competitive multiplayer game, there is no doubt that the game features various PvP multiplayer modes. Last time we took you to go through the Incursion mode which blends MOBA and FPS elements. Besides, Battleborn also introduces a story mode which gives player a better understanding of the background and characters.

That story is playable solo, 2-player splitscreen, or up to 5-players co-op online, and the monsters’ hitpoint and damage are according to player’s number. The more players in each game, the more powerful the monsters will be. There are three standalone episodes in story mode: “The Algorithm”, “Void’s Edge” and “The Renegade”. Without sequence and requirement, players are available to choose random episode in this mode.

In each episode, you will have a goal. For example, during The Renegade, you’re dispatched on a rescue mission to save Caldarius and by doing so, recruit him to your cause and make him a playable hero. There’s also a lot to be said of the game’s MOBA-like levelling system. Each level or online match you play had your character starting at level one and levelling up at a rapid pace. Each time you level, you get a point to spend on the helix upgrade system, picking between two possible boosts to your character.

In addition, the Shards, as the only available in-game currency, play important role in this mode. Players can use Shards to update character equipment, build structures and also activate NPC's special skills. You can easily track the Shard clusters on mini map. All team members share 5 resurrection chances in each episode. When a player dies in this mode, a ghost appears where they perished. You can choose to resurrect by yourself and cost resurrection chances or ask teammates to revive you. Now let’s check out our hands on video with The Renegade episodes.

Tree of Savior's EU Server Is Still in Debate

If you are going to play Tree of Savior's early access version on Steam, make sure you are aware that currently there's only NA servers for early access. And if you don't live in NA but purchase the early access packs on Steam, you can either choose to play the game on NA server or wait for EU/SEA/Oceania/LA/Other servers. However, there's no confirmation on EU and other region servers yet.

So, would you wait or just play the game on NA server?

Below is from the official FAQ.

Can I save my Founder's Pack until a EU server opens and retrieve it there?
You can hold onto your Founder's Pack in the in-game mailbox, as the pack will appear across all servers and do not expire, but EU/SEA/Oceania/LA/other regional servers opening is in debate and not a confirmed matter so please take that into consideration.

Can the Founder's Pack items be claimed separately?
No, you cannot take out the contents of a pack and distribute each item separately. You'll receive the Tokens, dolls, etc. altogether.

Well-known Korean game developer MGame held a news conference on March 15 to celebrate the official launch of its mobile RPG Crazy Dragon and at the meantime, MGame announced their line-up for 2016, including 6 mobile games and 3 VR games that planned to release in 2017.

According to MGame, they spent 2 years in developing Crazy Dragon, which has 3 classes in the game, namely Mage, Warrior and Assassin. As you can tell from the game name, Crazy Dragon features an unique "dragon riding fighting" system. Players can summon mercenary to experience a strategy gameplay and more than 20 different skills are available for players to collocate. Besides, players can experience not only the normal 1v1 PvP but also the 3v3 team PvP as well as the large-scale clan vs clan and siege wars. Crazy Dragon has been playable in the Korean mobile platform on March 24th.

Line-ups for the first half of 2016

MGame plans to transfer Scions of Fate in PS4 and browser. As for the mobile games, they plan to launch Rolling Balls, a puzzle mobile game developed by DEC Korea; CrazyAdventure, a casual game developed by 3N Soft and Summon Warriors, a new TCG.

Revival is one of my anticipated sandbox MMORPGs but sadly, it won't be coming out in the near future (in fact it could never come out) as its development is halted indefinitely because the developer IllFonic loses some key expertise and resources that they had access to before. " Making up for their loss, be it as simple as lacking sufficient animators or as complicated as losing access to certain networking expertise, has been a costly affair, far more costly than we can honestly afford to bear," the team writes in the announcement.

However, the game isn't completely dead, the dev continues:

First, to be clear: You can still access everything you’ve got access to today. Your renovation kits, your properties; all of it. We have no plans to turn them off or shut down access in the foreseeable future.
We're also going to unlock visitation access to all of the properties you don't currently have access to, including the estates. You won't "own" them, but you will be able to see every home that you couldn't before. I know it's not much, but you made a lot of work possible and you should at least be able to see it, right?
Next, you will receive a steam key for Nexuiz, one of IllFonic's first games and the first game Ombwah and I ever collaborated with IllFonic to make.
Finally, you'll also receive a steam key for Moving Hazard, one of the new projects currently under development here, and presently in Early Access in steam. It might turn out that we can do things like this in the future too. We can't predict what will happen, but we'll never forget that you supported us and whenever we can, we'll do what we can to return the favor.

Revival has some good ideas to make sandbox MMO gaming fun: there's no class and it pursuits a natural skill development and allows you to train your favorite skills. On the other hand, if you don't use a skill for too long, you will gradually forget how to use it. The game also gets player-driven economy and politics system. But perhaps the plan is too big for a small team.

Gamevil's highly popular third person multiplayer shooter Afterpulse has received a huge content update where players will find a new map, a new multiplayer game mode, and the highly anticipated custom matchmaking mode.

First, the long-awaited custom matchmaking mode will finally be deployed in the game. Players will be able to join other players' custom match lobby or create a personal Custom Match. When creating a Custom Match, players will be able to set different game options including, map, player count, game mode, and even set a limit as to what rank of equipment players are allowed to bring in. Another exciting aspect of custom matches is you will be able to now set the original 3 minute match timer up to a maximum of 15 minutes.

Second, there's a brand new desert themed map called Razed Fort. The map contains several collapsed buildings and obstructions, varying ground levels, and an open trench running through the middle of the map. Razed Fort will create several vantage points for close and long ranged strategies. All soldiers over level 10 will be able to experience Razed Fort.

In addition, a new game mode, Back to Back will be added to the already existing Death Match, and Team Death Match modes. Back to Back will shake things up by pitting 4 teams of 2 players against each other in an all-out brawl. Players will only have one other team member they can rely on to support them which makes team strategy crucial in Back to Back.

GDC 2016 offered us an opportunity to check out games that are promising but known by very few people. Zombie Rollerz was one of those games surprised us. The developer Zing Games is not big but consists of industry veterans that have achieved many successes (see the 2 images below). Their new mobile game Zombie Rollerz is a fresh experience lets you use the pinball mechanic to defeat zombies swarm towards you. Read on to learn more interesting aspects of the game.

You have 3 heroes who use their unique ability (fire, frost and so on) to kill zombies and defend the base. Each hero has an ultimate ability to deal a lot of damages to zombies. You can expect upgraded pinball mechanics, better physics, destructible environments, and tower defense elements. Knowing and predicting the trajectory, switching between heroes at the right time, and making use the environment to win are the fun you can have in the game, in addition to the colorful graphics, great environments and battle effects.

There are several modes currently:

PvE: you can play story quests and daily/seasonal events
Co-op: you can team up with friends
PvP: you can place zombies in your base to defend against other players

There are more contents coming:

The game is expected to have 10-15 playable heroes at launch. The team also plans to add hero specialization feature, allowing each hero to morph their ablities. The idea of gear and gear enhancement will be part of the game as well.

Zombie Rollerz plans to softlaunch in July 2016 and release worldwide in Q4 2016.

Tencent Games is hosting Tencent UP 2016 in Beijing, adding lots of new titles to their game line-up, including Path of Exile, Maplestory 2, Contra Mobile and more. One title that catches a lot of attention is Unreal Engine 3 Sci-fi MMO shooter Rising Fire.

Unlike the popular team-based competitive shoot genre in the market, Rising Fire is a Sci-fi FPS MMORPG that allows players to team up with friend and fight against vicious monsters and bosses in the dungeons. Besides, the game also features several unique classes, distinctive talents and also more than 100 weapons for players to choose. The Rising Fire is scheduled to enter first beta test in April. The once popular but a bit OP card X-Bow got nerfed again by Supercell, however, another card becomes quite popular after the March 23 update. Yeah, you got it - Mortar! We've already introduced two Mortar decks for you (click here and here) but still I'd like to share a more budget but also powerful Mortar deck for you. Just you have to be very familiar on how to use those common cards to counter the current popular decks.

As you can see, the average Elixir cost is pretty low with only 3.1, which means this deck has a pretty high error-tolerant rate. Besides the 5 Elixir cost Minion Horde, the other cards are all low Elixir cost. Thus, it will have a powerful damage output in the double Elixir period.

Mortar is indeed an annoying card with only 4 Elixir cost but powerful effect. Your opponent will be in disadvantage if he uses a lot of resources to counter it but he also can't just play some random troops to deal with Mortar. While Knight is the most balanced and valueable card players can get in the early game. While his attack is not high as Barbarians but Knight is at low Elixir and also higher HP.

One of the main jobs Tesla does is to counter your opponent's air troop but also Tesla is good at dealing with some aggressive ground troops, such as Prince and Hog Rider. As for Bomber, his job is kinda easier. He is used to counter many grouped ground troops such as Barbarians or Spear Goblins.

Before adding Minion Horde, this deck is weak in dealing with air troops (only Tesla and Spear Goblins) so Minion Horde is added for defense while Arrows is used to counter Boblin Barrel or Minion Horde or Goblins.

How to play:

The main strategy is same as the traditional X-bow or Mortar deck: focusing on defending in the early game. If you don't know how to play, just put the Mortar in the middle of your King Tower and it should be able to counter all your opponent's ground troops.

So how to attack? Put Mortar in the front of the river and then put Tesla beside and Knight can be placed before Mortar as a tank. Play Minon Horde if your opponent plays Baby Dragon while Arrows can counter your opponent's Minion Horde if he tries to use them to counter your Mortar. Bomber can be used if yoru opponent plays Barbarians. All in all, wait for your opponent to play first so we can counter him according to what he plays.
