Long-awaited Title Final Fantasy XV to Arrive PS4 and Xbox One on September 30th

After 10 years of waiting, Square Enix has just announced the long-awaited Final Fantasy XV during its Uncovered live event in Los Angeles. The release date may not be a surprise for everyone since it leaked a tad early, but this announcement marks official confirmation. Final Fantasy XV will be free to download from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30th. However SE claimed that they weren't able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for XV, therefore the PC version may come later.

"We had to focus on the console version and our goal was to maximize, optimize everything for the HD consoles. Once that's done, then we will definitely take a good, hard look at PC and what we need to do, and consider all our options. But right now we aren't decided, we're still considering a lot of things." FFXV director Hajime Tabata said. For Xbox One and PS4 players, there is a Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Collector's Edition available to purchase on the official Square Enix online store.

Final Fantasy XV is getting its own anime series. Dubbed Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, the series is somewhat of a prequel, telling the story of main character Noctis and how he came to be friends with the three characters that he'll be traveling with in the game. Besides, the 3D-animated movie will also be released digitally in 2016.

Mobile Beta Spotlight: Zombie Raiders "Not Your Average Mobile Survival Game"

$

Zombie Raiders Beta
A Sandbox Zombie Survival MMO, with a highly involved AI/NPC environment.

Gameplay
Dropped right into the action with almost no help, you're put in a server with countless others fighting to survive against the zombie horde. As you follow the basic tutorial, you are taught how to build items, use the crafting table, and attack. Once you understand the basic game concepts, and establish a basic home to come back to - you're off to complete the basic quests Zombie Raider: Beta gives you. As you attempt to locate, or build tools - I found myself fighting off zombies constantly trying to look for the items required. Not fully understanding the rules, the army as well as other bases attacked me along the way. When you die, you change into a zombie and can attack anyone for as long as you hp holds ( it slowly drops). When the zombie expires, you spawn again at another location. To return back into your human form, you can either use an elixir - or drop a random item.

Controlling your avatar you either tap to move or use a virtual joystick to move around the map. Before using any action, you must first select - then use an action. This can be frustrating at times, because your targets are small and you are only allowed to zoom in so far. Finding items in the game is hard, but I'd expect them to be. The fact that you have no help, or hints is what I find a little annoying. Your map should at least indicate search areas, as of now - it's not an organized system. Equipping your avatar and using items and abilities are simple enough, but using them in battle is going to make late game frustrating. I couldn't make myself play more than 30 minutes at a time, so I can't say this game is going to have a strong future.

Creativity
You don't find many Sandbox MMOs on mobile. That gives an unfair advantage with this game already topping the charts. The world isn't something we haven't seen before, but aesthetically needs work. With random road clipping into the foliage, and random doorways unattached to any sort of structure, it's hard to find the environment believable. The amount of other players, and constant zombie attacks can only make up for a tiny bit of the design issues. The character detail level is also a let down. With your 4 basic facial choices, you can barely see the aesthetic differences in-game.

Player level doesn't really mean anything. Sure it unlocks further crafting levels, but with the percentage of the game already unlocked - you're only taking away from the experience. I'd recommend unlocking further portions of the map, and giving incentives for leaving the starting area. This will spread the players out more even and won't cause early teaming up and zoning. Already in beta you'll see fully built bases right next to your spawn location, which means there is absolutely no map organization.

Value
Zombie Raiders released itself in Beta as a community test experience. Your character level progresses as you continue to play, so I'd expect a wipe with global launch. As of now, the community it's large - which shows the demand for mobile survival games. The purchases are minimal and I'm not sure how they will transition after launch. Looking at how massive this server is, bugs are almost certain to occur with the beta transition. Overall, the first release of Zombie Raiders: Beta is smooth and worth the download.

The store offers coins (used to purchase anything) and elixirs (used to survive). With both of these options available, this game is obviously a Pay-To-Win. On top of that, the ads are pretty intrusive. You'll experience a pop-up every time you enter the menu. This feature is what's going to keep the servers online and free - so I'm not going to give them too much hate. The basic environmental difficulty is hard and the learning curve is high enough to keep your interested. You might get frustrated a bit in the beginning, (they definitely need a better tutorial) but figuring out how to survive should come natural to you gamers. I'm pleasantly happy with the concept but would expect more with this genre in 2016.

GTArcade's New MMORPG League of Angels II to Enter Open Beta on March 31, 2016.

League of Angels II

League of Angels II, the upcoming MMORPG from GTArcade, has been generating quite a buzz since its announcement earlier this year. Under development for 2 years, League of Angels II combines an advanced 3D engine, high-level animations and effects, and deep storytelling to create a detailed fantasy world. There's no shortage of action or strategy as players embark on their grand quest to save Sapphire. The game was designed from the ground up to push the limits of next-gen web games.

League of Angels II

League of Angels II takes the turn-based RPG genre to another level with its innovative combat and endless strategic choices. The game will challenge players to use their knowledge and wits to overcome increasingly difficult encounters. Raid ancient dungeons, face off against epic bosses, and test your teams against other players; master all the intricacies of the game and victory shall be yours.

League of Angels II

On March 24th, the League of Angels II's mysterious veil was lifted to a group of lucky players, but many more were eager to get their hands on the game. Today GTArcade kicks off the official Open Beta and invite players to experience League of Angels II.

For the Closed Beta, invites were limited to 5,000 players to test the game in a more controlled setting. With the start of Open Beta, activation codes are no longer required, so players can jump right in and start their adventure. Customer and Recharge services will be available for the Open Beta and there will be no more account wipes from this point forward.

Players can play the game for free on the LoA2's official website here or on the Facebook App Center here. Furthermore, the game's Open Beta Mini Client is already available and players can download the client for a smoother game experience.

"During this week-long adventure, the contributions of our testers will shape the future of their game. Over 800 threads sprang up on the official forums. Everything from game bugs to language and UI optimization to gameplay design received great amounts of feedback, and the new Open Beta client will have many improvements and optimizations." the developer GTArcade said.

Pigbang is a Mobile Shooter-MOBA Hybrid With Twin-Stick Control

Last time we reported that a brightly-painted American style MOBA PigBang is going to hit iOS and Android devices very soon. Put aside the game name, what can make Pigbang stand out from other mobile MOBAs? Let’s take a look.

Unique Pig-style Character

Instead of using those good-looking characters, players in PigBang can comment those violent but adorable pigs to arm to the teeth and fire in various battlegrounds.

Virtual Twin-Stick Control

PigBang is a mobile MOBA that’s eschewing touch controls for a twin-stick shooter approach. There are two virtual joysticks on the both sides of the screen, and players can use the left one to move and right one to fire or use abilities.

Real-Time MOBA Experience

Like current MOBA games, PigBang features minions, lanes and structures. The game’s goal is destroying opponent’s base. When the game starts, the minions will respawn every minute and march to enemies’ base, and players can utilize strategies to fight against enemies’ characters. Besides, players can also build structures to help them fight during the battle.

PigBang is currently in beta. If you fancy this game, you can visit its official site and apply for the beta.

Tons of Beta Details Unveiled About Pokemon Go

$
0
0
Niantic announced Pokemon GO started field test in Japan yesterday. While only Japanese Android players can take part in it, now many details are unveiled.

Each pokemon has their own qualities and has three different levels such as ordinary, legendary and myth. Pokemons have CP value, but we don’t know how it works. Maybe it is a catch point. The higher the numerical value, the harder it caught.

Teams: Blue, Red, and Yellow seem to be confirmed. This also shows that you will not start out picking a team. This is different than Ingress and I think Niantic has made a smart decision on this point as they had a ton of players want to switch teams. This decision should minimize that.

Character Customization allows the following to change: Skin Tone, Hair, Eyes, Hat, Shirt, Pants, Shoes, Backpack. Details in the videos posted and here. Best video of customization - Seen in the background of this excellent video

Day & Night Cycle... Not much here but you can see the screens here(at the bottom).

Pokemon Moves - Limits Pokemon moves to 2. There are currently 232 moves found and as /u/poke_viki009 points out here that there are no status effects in the moves listed. This to me is a great indicator that battles will be greatly simplified from what we are used to. I also have not seen mention of an association between the listed Pokemon types and their corresponding moves. However, I find it is interesting that some of the moves have a "Fast" version which leads me to believe that speed plays into the battle mechanics somehow. The other interesting thing is that Blastoise has several moves relegated specifically to it, this might be a testing oversight that they originally were testing these moves with a Blastoise or that there are moves and maybe animations specifically for each pokemon.

Battle Animations - Something interesting is mentioned here which leads me to believe we might be able to see battles take place (even if we can't control them directly). There are several "animation" type names listed that don't match with anything in the moves list directly, but could be associated with moves such as "spark_trail" and "frost_breath_fast_hit". It could be an animation or an effect on screen.

VR Connection - There is information about Google Cardboard in the beta data leading me to believe that it might support Google Cardboard in the future rather than any other VR system, such as Samsung's Gear etc.

Pokemon - Currently 151 listed in the database and most of the sprites are here. They will have different types: None (Eggs...), Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark, Fairy. This leads me to believe that they are keeping themselves atleast open to expansion to other generations even if we don't get them at the start. There are 3 classes: Normal, Legendary, Mythic. This is probably having to do with how you would capture them, normal throw a ball vs event based pokemon. The most interesting thing here is their natures: Stoic, Assassin, Guardian, Raider, Protector, Sentry, or Champion. I am personally split on what these could do... either they could be titles on attacking or defending such as placement within the Gym (lvl 1 is Sentry, lvl 2-3 is Guardian, lvl 4-5 is Protector, lvl 6 is Champion)or the attacking team (maybe you can attack with 2 pokemon at the same time? Assassin and Raider). Now Stoic is the only one that leads me to believe it is actually natures that will affect the Stats (HP, Attack, Defense), Stoic will have an increased HP, Assassin - increased Attack, Guardian - increased Defense, Raider -increased HP & Att, Protector increased HP & Def, Sentry - increased Att & Def, Champion - increased HP, Att, & Def. This leads me to believe that pokemon are individuals and you will have a relationship with them. You might be able to even affect what natures they are by training them (see the actions list). The last thing to mention is that you can release pokemon. As far as starters... you get one it looks like. It might have tutorial like Ingress with a fake world to play in. Edit: Current Limit of 500 Pokemon.

Evolution - In one of the posts there is mention of stone and stone pieces. It seems to me that Fire Stones might need to be crafted or brought together to evolve certain pokemon. It also seems to be counting how many times you have captured a pokemon rather than how many you currently have in your bag. This seems to indicated that Evolution will be based on capture alone.

Eggs & Hatching - Sort of known, you take eggs with you and you walk around to hatch them. But it looks like you can hatch your eggs into different environments, this is from the "env" that /u/TheMegaExplosion doesn't quite follow. I think these backgrounds(toward the bottom) are the backgrounds for the hatching. This might lead to different natures coming out on the pokemon? Eggs Database information might give more away about the game then anything else. It has the following fields: KM Walked, KM Target, Origin, Height, Weight, Individual Attack, Individual Defense, Individual Stamina, Has Cp Multiplier, Cp Multiplier, Field Number. This leads me to believe that having a certain pokemon as the active one can increase your pokemon capture rate.

Trading - It seems to me that trading will all be done via data rather than bluetooth or anything like that. It has search, offer, response, and result listed as options for actions.

Items - Item Categories: None, Pokeball, Food, Medicine, Boost, Utilities, Camera. What is interesting here is the camera item, will you be able to take pictures with your own pokemon? Will you have to use a camera item to do that? There is also mention of "Recycle Item". This leads me to believe you can turn items into gems. List of items: Uknown, Pokeball, Greatball, Ultraball, Masterball, Potion, Super Potion, Hyper Potion, Max Potion, Max Revive, X Attack, X Defense, X Miracle (Interesting item - both stats up?), Razz Berry, Bluk Berry, Nanab Berry, Wepar Berry, Pinap Berry, and Special Camera. What is interesting to note is that the berries are only Pokeblock ingredients not berries that effect anything. Could this mean they wanted to use those for recycling items to get gems? Or are they some sort of crafting in the game? Or is it because they don't do anything in the main games so we cannot make any assumptions on their effects? Edit: Current limit of 1000 items

In App Purchases - 6 Different tiers and packages for Balls, Medicine, and Food categories in Small, Standard, and Large. It also has packages for Gems... this leads me to believe it will be based on the Gem currency and it will depend on what you Tier you are subscribed to on what price you are paying for the three different packages (in Gems). You get a discount for higher subscription tiers. I also think that gems will be accumulated in game.

Action List - Unknown, Catch Pokemon, Catch Legend Pokemon, Flee Pokemon, Defeat Fort, Evolve Pokemon, Hatch Egg, Walk KM, New Pokedex entry, Catch First Throw, Catch-Nice Throw, Catch- Great Throw, Catch - Excellent Throw, Catch - Curveball, Catch - First Catch of Day, Catch Milestone, Train, Search Fort. These are very interesting, some to note are Catch Milestone (probably linked to evolution), Curveball (how you throw effects catch rate?), and Train. You can train your pokemon... will this level them up? Change their nature? Upgrade their stats? Personally I think it will change their natures.

Gyms - I believe that it is 6 pokemon that can be stored at a Gym... if you look at the Gym icon on the map source you can see 6 platforms, which I believe you will have to battle 6 pokemon to take a gym from another team. I think each Gym based on what has happened there will reward capture/taking over gyms with Gym Points and Experience (player? pokemon?) which will help determine which team is winning on the global scale like Ingress's intel report. Other things to note here are they can be searched... does this mean you can find items there? Or is this more about the Pokestops and Forts have dual meaning now? There seems to be deploy and recall actions. You might be able to allow other players to deploy if you recall a pokemon stationed there. It looks like training is only done at the gyms however, as Gym Training is included in actions under Gyms. There is also "Gym Pope"s :D. Let me be your leader!

Battling - Seems to me there are 3 stats... HP (Stamina?), Att, and Def. They play into damage that can be reduced/increased by moves and items. It also leads me to believe battling is done with your input (might be just attacking a Gym and swapping a pokemon in to attack) "SWAP_IN_TO_BATTLE" is listed as actions.

Badge List: Distance Travelled (KM), Pokedex Entries, Capture Total, Defeated Forts (Gyms?), Evolved Total, Hatched Total, Encountered Total, Pokestops Visited, Unique Pokestops, Pokeballs Thrown.

In app Messaging - There are screens about it.

10 Tricks in Clash Royale That Remain Secret

$
0
0
You think you have seen lots of Clash Royale beginner’s tips, strategies and tricks? There are 10 secret tricks nobody would tell you. Today we unveil it to you. The soucre of this idea is here and the original author is windleavez

#1 Juicy Fruit

When your ranged troops standing within the effect area of poison spell you casted (Pls beware you should be the caster!), all arrows or spears you shot will be surrounded by yellow smoke, debuff with slow and extra damage will happen under this poisoned attack.

#2 Telsa Effect

Place 2 Tesla at the same time with a certain range, you will see the tesla effect to generate arc between the 2 Tesla, all enemies who walk through the arc will receive huge damage, meanwhile, with the arc, Tesla will not go back to underground when there is no enemy.

#3 Use your fireball smartly

IT IS A WASTE to cast fireball to troops, try to cast the Fireball to the river! (Yeah, there is only one river there!)

Then you will see water take away all small troops (Skeleton, Goblin, etc ) near the shore, or the HogRider who is jumping over the river. However, this tip is not applicable to the big guys (Giant) or flying units(Baby Dragon).

#4 Let it go, can’t hold it back anymore

No worries about the Goblin Barrel anymore! Cast a freeze spell at where the enemy’s Goblin barrel will hit the ground in advance, with the ice ground, the goblin barrel will keep sliding till out of the battle field, no goblin anymore.

#5 Elixir or poison??

Cast the poison spell on the Elixir Collector when you see it, the color of Elixir will change from purple to yellow, all opponent units generated during the duration will lost 25% movement speed, CANNOT RECOVER.

#6 Break the bridge!

The bridge has hidden HP! Yeah, I am talking about the bridge we see in every battle on the battle field, it will break down if you keep casting Rocket or FireBall on it, the opponent ground units will have to turn to another side, however, around 8 times with level 9 FireBall to break the bridge, not a good deal.

#7 Flood, flood, flood!

You may see the shadow of the moving cloud in the sky. When you see a darker shadow, it means storm is coming and you have chance to turn the battlefield to what you see in the film The Day After Tomorrow, by casting a Lightning spell on the shadow.

Only flying units can survive the end of world.

#8 AlphaGO or ClashGO?

After playing 100 training matches, you can play chess with the computer.

#9 Winter is coming

There is a very rare chance that the King on the central tower will take off his crown, punch him with Arrows and FireBall spells! He will be killed directly if you are lucky enough, bet your fortune for a perfect win.

#10 Magic mail
October 29 is the birthday of Supercell CEO Ilkka PaananenIf and some of the luckiest players will find in their in-game mailbox a letter. If they make a $99.99 in-app purchase that day and they will receive another $99.99 worth of gems. It’s ture!

Well, I hope you like all the tips above. But wait, there’s still more! There are also some other experience I would like to share here:

People always apply the rules and former experience in your life to games that you are not familiar with, that’s why you may take all tips above for real : ) (I’m afraid of all rumors for fun ; p) Anyway, enjoy the game, that’s the most important thing, hope you like the article.

Gaijin Entertainment today announced that its WWII online game, War Thunder, will be introducing legendary sailing ships in its latest update for War Thunder's ten million players to enjoy.

War Thunder

Available for all players, these historic battleships will take the fight to distant lands and contested waters. The first test-session starts today and will last until the end of the weekend.

Long before the history books documented the modern toil of land and air warfare in tanks and planes, the oceans were ruled by huge battleships decked with cannon and shot.

War Thunder

War Thunder 's latest update will introduce British fighting ships from the beginning of the Eighteenth Century with other nations to be added later.

War Thunder

Like their tank and plane counterparts, War Thunder's sailing ships will also have their own interactive damage model (no health points). Gaijin Entertainment has taken care in crafting these sailing behemoths to be armored the way they were during their dominance of the oceans of long ago.

War Thunder

Naval battles will be available in the War Thunder Events menu in the game and will be available in Arcade mode. Players will be able to take the rank 1 British ship, the legendary "Golden Hind" galleon and join a battle on the shores of the lost islands. More ships of the Royal Navy and other nations will become available soon.

Otherland, the Online RPG based on Tad Williams's famous novels, is available on Steam as an early access version with a brand-new update including three factions, various game optimizations, and numerous new quests.

Otherland's most important new feature is the much-anticipated introduction of factions. From now on, players will have the chance to actively take part in the conflict between the Red and White Armies – and the Hackers will also play an important role. Traders of the corresponding factions will provide players with epic endgame gear that will be essential for the dungeons and raids currently in development. Also part of the update are a raise of the level cap up to level 60, a total of 90 all-new daily quests, 20 new locations, optimized enemy skills and balancing, 12 new Mars quests, and a re-worked SOMA drop rate.

Additionally, the update will fix a number of display problems, improve the overall performance of the location 8Squared, and include extensively optimized collision models and detection as well as character and NPC pathfinding.

In the MMO Otherland, the players explore a gigantic multiverse composed of various fantasy and sci-fi worlds and constantly improve their extraterrestrial equipment to succeed in challenging fights. 4 character classes, PvE and PvP battles, an action-oriented combat system, 5 unique locations, a virtual home for every player, and clan wars in individually designed worlds will make Otherland fans lose all sense of time and space. The game's story, a sequel to the famous novels, is a treat for both fantasy and science fiction enthusiasts.

Korean Studio Reveals Debut Trailer for Flagship Game Titled Gigant Shock

Carbon Eyed, a new games development studio in South Korea, yesterday revealed three flagship titles at its debut press conference. It is worth noting that Carbon Eyed is founded by the former CEO of Eyedentity Games, Chris Lee, who is also the former CEO of NHN Entertainment.

Out of the three titles, the one which really caught my eye was Gigant Shock, which looks mighty impressive.

The gameplay is really simple. Form a group of 4 members from different classes, and move ahead to kill giant bosses. If it sounds easy, it is most probably too good to be true. Most of the gameplay can be found in the debut trailer above. The other two games can be seen below, and do note that all its games are in portrait mode. This is to allow gamers to play these games with just one hand.

After finishing the long copyright infringement lawsuit sued by Blizzard and Valve, Lilith Games seems like to respect copyrights of other franchise. Earlier today, Lilith Games teamed up with Ubisoft to bring Ezio Auditore, famous fictional character in Assassin's Creed, to the PvP battle game Allstar Heroes(former name: Dot Arena).

There is no doubt that Ezio Auditore will play an agile assassin in Allstar Heroes. He can not only use poisoned dagger to attack his enemies but also summon brotherhood assassins to do ranged damage. You can check out some screenshots below.

Mobile Game Review: Pocket Starships - a Space MMO Perfected for Touch

"Quick Action MMO, with a simple space theme... Cute!"

Gameplay
Its Red vs Green in this massive domination style space MMO. You are given a basic ship, with a solar powered laser and a few nukes. It's your job to level your ship, acquire weapon upgrades, purchase additional nukes. Each zone has an HQ, where you must defend from the enemy team or waves of NPC pirates. The more zones a team controls, the more resources they have and money they accumulate. On a larger scale, capturing the most territories before the season ends is the primary goal.

As the Captain, it's your job to explore each Zone and harvest minerals from the asteroids. When your ship is full, you are required to deposit the minerals back at the Zones HQ. During this time, waves of enemy NPC Pirates we'll be attacking you. If you or your HQ is destroyed, you must start the entire process over - losing all acquired resources. You can either complete this task solo or request aid from your team. The HQ has a limit on how much it can process - so when your team comes with you, get your mineral harvest going ASAP.

Controlling your ship and attacking is fairly simple. With your left virtual joystick, your screen moves and rotates around your ship. Your right joystick controls your weapons and harvesting systems. Depending on your role, and your ships build - combat strategy is totally up to the gamer. Entering a large scale battle (barely lvl 5), I hugged my medic and kept enemies off his tail. When you die, you spawn back at your main HQ. If the fight is still progressing, you can warp back in after a short delay or your ship finishes repairs (depending on the zone).

Creativity
Pocket Starships did a great job creating a simple portable space MMO. The overall concept doesn't stretch our imagination, but with the perspective of a pickup-and-play - Bravo! You have a basic amount of customization options, and a fair number or weapons. When it comes to personalization, you'll start recognizing a lot of duplicates. In fact, the game itself does seem a bit plain. The zones are empty - without personality, and even the enemy lacks any real connection.

Aside from the artwork, the organization of the game is unique. If they had to option to play with one hand, or vertically then I'd be impressed. What's going to push this game to the top, is two reasons. The amount of Mobile Space MMOs are low, and the quality of the multiplayer experience. With the amount of players, you don't experience any lag - even over carrier. In fact, I didn't have a single issue with in-game functionality (great job coders.)

Value
You have the option to purchase both in-game currencies - Free-To-Download. Which means “potentially” if you drop about $200 you will acquire the highest/rarest items in under a week. Completely unfair - even if they wanted everyone to do that, the level cap scales to high for the worth. I'm not sure if too many people have been purchasing, I have only seen 6 boss players, and they could be beta testers. The boxes are a fair exchange, and should be the only way to play. The purchase of Solar, (diamonds) is going to kill the game.

If you play the standard way, you are able to unlock everything in-game without spending real money. For now, it isn't too much of a deal being insta-killed. But if the community ever grows, you're going to find a lot of upset gamers. This game does have the option for season resets, which could help with balance issues in the future - if handled properly. Overall I find it hard playing this game for over an hour, boredom sets in with the amount of repetition. If wasn't for the strong multiplayer foundation, it wouldn't have made it over a 7.
