The MMORPG genre is struggling. It's difficult to innovate with the hardware and technologies available, and the result is you see more indie MMOs but less truly successful ones. Will VR save MMO? Too early to say, but some companies have begun the exploration.
Elite: Dangerous is one of the MMOs you can play using Oculus Rift,
Vindictus will get VR support later this year, and
Wizard Online is a VR MMORPG developed from the ground up.
I suggest you to keep an eye on
Vindictus's VR version because it looks fun, and so is Wizard Online. For now, in this month, no VR MMOs but something still worth your attention.

This is the first MMO imcGames publishes in the global market and it's not an easy road from development to global release. Fortunately they keep listening to the voice of the community: they changed the early access plans based on community feedback, and then they opened European and Southeast Asian servers for the game. Now players in NA, EU and SEA can expect optimized network by playing in their own servers.
The gameplay content isn't different to its Korean version. You can choose from one of the two starting towns to begin your adventure (each town has a unique quest line until a certain point), and as you progress you gradually unlock over 40 different classes and pick your favorite class combination. The game is the classic grinding style MMO where you can farm EXP from main quests, side quests, and daily dungeons, etc. In addition to various different classes and abilities, Tree of Savior features lots of different items and equipment obtained from chests and dungeons that can make your character visually unique.
Black Desert OnlineNew expansion: March 30
Black Desert Online has opened the huge Mediah region to western players, adding tons of new quests, bosses, PvP battleground, and new gear, etc. If you were complaining the lack of end-game in BDO, you may find most of your needs of end-game content got answered in the new expansion.
First is the massive open world boss Kzarka that can be fought by hundreds of players at the same time. Then there's 40v40 battleground Crimson Battlefield, available to join in groups or solo. These are good chance for guilds and friends to play together and overcome the most difficult challenges. New players will find themselves a world that's 30% bigger than before and over 1,000 new quests to play. Last but not least, the craftable Alchemy Stones allow you to apply Attack, Defense, or Life bonuses to your equipment.
League of Angels 2Open Beta: March 31
League of Angels 2 is the sequel to popular browser MMORPG League of Angels with lots of improvements. Join one of the 3 angel kingdoms (Jewel of Elysium, Forged by Fire, Winged Sanctuary) and see a new story which is carefully written. The developer stresses that they are focusing on story and visuals in the sequel with an enhanced 3D engine. Lots of resources and efforts are invested into the art aspect and therefore the developer passes a message to both new players and old League of Angels gamers: The Angels have Transcended.

Revelation (CN)Chinese Open Beta: April 22 (simple registration and download guide)
Revelation is one of the most anticipated MMORPG in China, and it has been
confirmed for western release. For those who are willing to try out new MMOs, Revelation's Chinese open beta is a good opportunity. You can learn how to register and download here.
The game is based on Chinese myth while incorporates fantasy elements. Revelation is described as limitless MMORPG by the developer NetEase Games, with 160,000,000 square kilometers of seamless world, day and night shift, dynamic weather, flying system, air battles, fast-paced combat, and epic end-game raids, etc. While tries to make a new standard for Chinese MMORPG, Revelation hopes to attract more casual and female players with beautiful outfits, customizable wings, and lots of emotes.
MU: OriginSoft Launch: March 30
MU: Origin is the mobile version of the classic PC MMO MU Online and the game is now available in Canada and Ireland for soft launch. You can play it for free on iOS or Android devices by registering an account of the app store in either region.
The mobile MMORPG has been optimized for slide and tap control while it gets enhanced visuals, fast leveling, auto-path and auto battle for mobile gamers. MU: Origin has hundreds of character levels but don't worry, the game is easy to level up — expect to reach 100 in one or two hours. Level 100 is just one of the many stops in your journey, because every time you hit level 100, you complete a Rebirth and have your stats boosted. The game features both open world exploration and dungeon crawling experience. Crafting system is also in the mobile version and so is the iconic wing system. Without surprise, you can choose to wait some time to upgrade your skills or wing, or make in-app purchase for instant upgrade — traditional in-app purchase model.
Luna Online: RebornClosed Beta: March 30 (Grab a beta key at 2P)
At the request of the community, SubaGames has brought back the 2009 anime MMORPG Luna Online (shut down in 2012). Luna Online: Reborn claims to remove the outdated and negative content complained by players of the original version. Additionally, the new version implements Realm vs. Realm system as well as real-time ranking.
Luna Online: Reborn has cute graphics, bright visuals, and casual content. The game has over 110 different classes, 500 skills and 100 pets. You can also own and customize your house and farm and get bonuses from them. The game will be launched on Steam in the future.
