Before the
July update, I think most players would prefer to stay 2000-2500 trophies because it’s too hard to climb to Legendary Arena and it would be easier to complete the crown chests. But the situation is different, we have a new arena called Frozen Peak now and we can get more rewards from chests if we can push to 2300+ trophies. So today I am going to recommend some solid decks to you guys. These decks will help you stay 2300 + trophies.
Hog Rider Decks
#Deck 1
Battle Strategy
Another Hog-chip deck, but with the Ice spirits. The idea is to muster up 7 elixir for Spirits and hog and just send them loose (If you start with these 3 cards, it’s a GG). The whole push requires only 7 elixir, that being said, if you save up for 10 you can send your push and have skellies/gobs left for defence.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: When pushing, make sure to place fire spirits a good distance ahead of Ice spirits, so the Ice spirits doesn’t kill itself over a small troop the fire spirits could have killed on their own. Barbarians are for big tanks such as Giant or for glass cannons. (In an emergency situation can be used to defend against Barbs.) Fireball is your go-to counter to Minion horde or Barbs. (Fire spirits can replace fireball as you see fit). Skeletons/Goblins give distraction value/ dragging value or, if Barbs unavailable, Hog counter.
#Deck 2
Battle Strategy
Sending in the lavahound ahead of the lumberjack so the tower targets the lavahound will put your opponent in a tricky situation. If they kill the Lavahound (arrow any minions so the death is delayed) the Arena Tower will retarget onto the Lumberjack, killing him, dropping a rage onto the pups. If the opponent decides to kill the lumberjack then the enraged lavahound will deal nice damage. In this situation make sure to NOT arrow minions as you want the lavahound to die before rage ends so the pups profit. Damage is almost always unavoidable.

Royal Giant Decks
#Deck 3
Deck Strategy
You should start the game slowly. Play one troop example Ice Wizard or Royal Giant to let your opponent to play cards to counter it. You need to know your opponent cards to make an effective push, this tip is great not only for this deck, but is good to know in general. If he has and uses Barbarians you should have a Fireball ready to take them out. When he starts a push you should have Elixir to stop it, then make a counter push with Wizard Ice wizard and Royal Giant. Use Sparky in emergency situations only before 2x Elixir Time.
2x Elixir Time: Now you can start making big push combinations with your Royal Giant, Wizard , Sparky and Ice Wizard.
#Deck 4
I personally give this deck a try and it works pretty well in Arena 7, although you'll probably meet many Royale Giant decks. Don't know how to counter this card? Well, in this deck, Barbarians is a good answer and also the Cannon.
Check out how Chief Pat plays this deck in the video below.
Giant Decks
#Deck 5
Battle Strategy
In the beginning, if you have Giant + Balloon + Arrows in hand, then just wait for your opponents making first movement. If you don’t have these cards, just drop troops behind King Tower to quickly cycle the deck. When your opponents want to make a big push, it’s wise for your giving up your Arena Tower to push another lane.
In the middle term, this offensive deck usually gets 1 crown, which is favorable for next push. Just drop your Giant + Balloon in your opponents’ area. Place Giant first to distract King Tower and then drop Balloon. The shorter distance makes it hard to counter. Any defensive on the way will be quickly taken out.
At last, If you get 2 crowns, Giant and Balloon can be separated. But Giant should be dropped first to distract King Tower.
On defense: Use low cost troops to kite enemies, finish supporting troops first.
Tips
1.If you drop both Balloon + Giant in No.1 in the first two times. And then drop Balloon in No.3 in the third times. You opponent may drop his defensive building in the same place. You Balloon can fly directly to Arena Tower.
2. If your opponents AoE troops/ Arrows cool down, drop Giant + Minion Horde to make a big push.
#Deck 6
Battle Strategy
If you have Elixir Collector in the opening hand, just drop it in front of your King Tower so that your opponents dare not throw Rocket/Fireball on it. If you don’t have Elixir Collector, Spear Goblins is a nice choice to do some chip damage to the arena tower. After that, wait for choose one lane and drop your deadly Giant + Witch + Bomber combo to quickly take your opponents’ arena tower. Also, Hog Rider can be dropped in the same lane or the other lane to confuse your enemies. Note: Barbarians only used for defense, drop them on the bridge as soon as your enemies cross the bridge.
Check the video below and get more idea about how to play this deck.
#Deck 7
Battle Strategy
Putting giant in back, followed by mini Pekka and Lumberjack. 2 glass cannons + tank is deadly especially if you kill one of the cannons, it drops a rage. In case of minions, arrows. In case of IT, zap. Very simple deck.
The Lumberjack can be placed on defense to rage tower and other defending troops.
Spawners Deck
#Deck 8
Here are some instructions. Generally, drop Goblin Huts to do chip damage to your opponents’ Arena Tower in the first 2 minutes. During this process, you should know what your opponents have in hand and wait for a push. In the last, you can use spell to finish the game. This deck requires you to keep calm.
On Attack
This deck focuses on defense, so we usually drop Knight as a tanker and have Goblins follow behind. If this push is ignored, the 5 cost combo can definitely destroy an Arena Tower. By the way, Goblins can push Knight to move faster as long as you drop them in right place. Use this combo when your opponents run out of elixir or you have no cards to protect your Arena Tower. The main DPS is Fireball and Lighting. Lighting can kill Wizard/ Witch directly, therefore, if you have enough elixir, you should throw Lighting on them immediately. After that, you can drop Goblin Hut in the same lane to start your push.
Tips: We usually have two Goblin Huts, and the timing to drop second Goblin Hut is important.
#Deck 9
How to play this deck
Elixir collector's HP got decreased, therefore you should put it at the corner. Goblin hut should be put behind arena tower and barbarian hut should be placed at the middle of your arena side. Furnace provides fast supportive troops so it should be placed a little bit close to the river. If you've got an opponent's tower, you can place furnace at opponent's side to distract and suppress opponent's troops.
Now you've known the ideas of where and when to put each building, how about royal giant? Usually when you have had both Huts on the arena you can drop royal giant behind these spawned troops to attack enemy tower. Another combo is drop royal giant behind king's tower and when it approaches near the river, mirror it and you got 2 royal giants which can cause a lot of damage.

ATTACKING
There are three key ways to attack:
1.
Skeleton army + freeze – rarely works, but if they deploy minions near the tower to defend, then both the minion (horde) and the tower can be frozen. In this case, by the time the opponent has realised what’s happened, you should have 1000 damage done.
2.
Minion horde + Freeze – very very powerful. If you think the opponent doesn’t have arrows or fireball at the ready, deploy this. Freeze the tower when they reach it – if you also freeze a troop they deploy to combat the minion horde, that’s an added bonus.
3.
Prince + minion horde/skeleton army (+ poison) (+ Freeze) – Deploy the prince and a small troop. Just intersecting the tower, deploy the poison – this should catch any small troops. Prince + skel army + poison is super effective against barbs. When they reach the tower and health is low, deploy freeze if needed/if available.
Here are some more things to bear in mind:
If you really want to, you can swap out bomb tower/skeleton army for inferno tower/barbs. However, I would not recommend this. It didn’t work for me. However, I accept this may be due to the fact that I am not very good with these cards.
#Golem Deck
If you start with Elixir Collector in hand, that’s your first play. You want to maintain a steady buffer of elixir to fall back on whenever possible for defensive purposes. I typically will drop my Collector and then, depending on my cards and their reaction, either begin a slow push with golem + witch or defend until I can cycle down another Collector to begin maintaining an elixir advantage. I am more than happy to end the match early if they underestimate my push, but often feel more comfortable playing this deck very control-esque until overtime.
You want to mainly use Barbs and Horde defensively, but if you manage to force them into playing their spells, feel free to punish them with a quick Barb/Horde push to a tower. I just rolled through an opponent with Zap/Arrows/Fireball in hand, being careful not to overextend before I baited out his spells, and it wasn’t a problem.
#Goblin Barrel Deck
This deck is for Arena 7 players who's lucky to get a Princess. The main strategy of the deck is to use Princess to bait out your opponent's Arrows and then use Goblin Barrel + Balloon to deal huge damage to your opponent's Arrow Tower.
If you don't have Princess, you can also use Minion Horde to bait out your opponent's Arrows but sometimes it may fail. For how to use this deck, check out
BenTimm1's video after the break.
