Popular Theories About How to Evolve Eevee in Pokemon Go

$
0
0

when it comes to Pokemon evolve in Pokemon Go, that exception has a name: Eevee. She can actually evolve into multiple forms: Flareon (fire), Jolteon (electric) and Vaporeon (water), but there is a way to determine how to evolve Eevee into one of them specifically.

There is a Reddit thread that has been testing different theories about Eevee since Pokemon GO launched. And so far, their data seems to be inconclusive. Let's check out a couple of popular theories below.

Eevee evolves based on the second move they know when you capture them

This seemed like a promising theory since Eevees found in the game know one of three different second moves or attacks: Body Slam, Swift, and Dig. It would be very straightforward if each of those moves simply corresponded to one of the evolved forms.

Alas, that's not the case. as people have been reporting consistently evolving Eevees with the same second move and finding they end up in different forms.

Eevee evolves based on the ownership of the nearest gym

Another neat theory if it has proven to be correct, since there are three teams and each of their colors/types would match right up with an Eeveelution (sorry). But the redditors eventually disproved this as well.

So where does that leave us? With the most interesting theory of all ...

Eevee evolves randomly, unless you give it a specific nickname

Multiple redditors in that thread report that while the base system for the evolutions may indeed be random, you can defeat it by using the option to nickname your Eevee.

To choose a nickname, simply tap on the Eevee's profile in your Pokemon collection. Then tap again on the name. You'll see the following pop-up window:

To get an evolved Eevee of a certain type, enter the following nickname:
Flareon - Pyro
Vaporeon - Rainer
Jolteon - Sparky

There's no better feeling in Hearthstone than having 1600 arcane dust laying around and deciding which shiny new legendary card you'll be adding to your collection next! That decision can be as agonizing as it is exciting, but the last thing you want to do is waste your dust and craft a terrible card!

To help you avoid the disaster of crafting a bad legendary card, I've put together a quick 5-minute video showcasing the 10 best legendary cards to craft for the everyday player in Hearthstone. These cards will give you the most bang for your dust, and also work in a variety of decks for the foreseeable future.

If you don't have time to watch the video, here's the list in reverse order...

10. Grommash Hellscream
9. Tirion Fordring
8. Chillmaw
7. Cairne Bloodhoof
6. Harrison Jones
5. Leeroy Jenkins
4. N'Zoth, the Corruptor
3. Ragnaros the Firelord
2. Yogg-Saron, Hope's End
1. Sylvanas Windrunner

You should also remember that sometimes it's smarter to craft a few key epic cards than it is to craft one big legendary minion. You may get more total power in your collection and be able to build more consistent decks. These recommendations are for the moments when you want something awesome to show off, or to complete a deck that's almost perfect!

Chinese studio Xindong has just kicked off summer test for its mobile MMORPG Ragnarok Oline Mobile in China. As the officially licensed mobile version of RO, Ragnarok Mobile features similar graphics and gameplay to the PC version, allowing players to have a nostalgic RO experience.

In this Summer Test, players are available to choose five iconic classes from the PC version: Swordman, Mage, Archer, Merchant, Thief and Acolyte. Once players finish off the Novice Training, they can choose their favorite classes at Prontera class hall.

In addition to class, there are also two brand-new features which will refresh your eyes this time. The studio want more socialized features so they introduce the holding hands and 360°Game Camera, allowing players to hold their beloved partners and take snap shots at the wonderful RO worlds. It's worth mentioning that this function works for both genders and not a couple system. Players who send out invitations will initiate the action.

Lineage Eternal Has Dynamic Events Similar to Guild Wars 2’s

If you think Lineage Eternal is a Diablo 3 style multiplayer game, you are wrong. Lineage Eternal is an isometric open world MMO (with great focus on dungeon play) that has dynamic events like Guild Wars 2 does.

The game’s Producer James Bae said although we didn’t show anything about the interaction between players, we did have "shared quests" that can be participated and completed by players in the same areas. It’s similar to Guild Wars 2’s dynamic events, according to Bae. What’s more, there will be open world bosses that can’t be defeated by a single player because it requires different classes (there’s no tank or healer in this game) to cooperate to win.

Speaking of "dynamic", it’s largely used in dungeons.  There are infinite possible combinations in terms of dungeon layout and mob types, the developer said. "Think about Lego bricks, the more brick types you have, the more things you can build. And what we do is adding more types of bricks to the dungeons,"  he added.

Lineage Eternal screenshot
In the dungeons, not only the layout and mob types are randomly generated, but also the quests and events in the dungeons are dynamic.

Lineage Eternal plans to start open beta in South Korea this year. NCsoft has confirmed the game will release in international market.

World of Warcraft: Legion - Guide to Core Skills of Fire Mage

$

In Legion Returns expansionof World of Warcraft, the core skills of Fire Mage has changed a lot. Today, I want to make a deep analysis of these skills: Fireball, Pyroblast, Reignition Overdrive, Flame Strike,Combustion and Hot Streak.

Fireball: Throws a fiery ball that causes (175% of Spell power) fire damage. Each time yourFireballfails to critically strikes a target, it gains a stacking Enhanced Pyrotechnics- 10% increased critical strike chance. Effect ends when Fireball critically strikes.
Fireballcan be intensified by Great Balls of Fireand Fire at will, which can improve its damage and cast speed. This skill, which is integrated with Draenor Special-Enhanced Pyrotechnics, will become stronger in 7.0 expansion.

Pyroblast: Hurls an immense fiery boulder that causes great fire damage (400% of Spell power) with 4.5s cast time. This skill will become ‘instant’ under the affect of magic strikes, dealing double fire damage.
Affected by relic trait-Pyromaniac Hysteria.(Pyroblast damage↑).
Pyroblasthas always been a core skill of Fire Mage. In the WOD expansion, continuous Pyroblastwill waste a part of DOT damage and the direct damage of it is not high. Compared with WOD version, the new Pyroblast removed its DOT damage and has a higher direct damage.
The double mastery effect of it, in fact, replaced the old DOT. The newPyroblast is increased by magic damage and has an ignite DOT, which makes Fire Mage a top DPS in a team. In addition, the floor level of GCD decreases to 0.75s, the corresponding Hastethreshold value of instant Pyroblast becomes 100% in the Legion expansion, which improves the instantaneous damage of Pyroblast triggered by Bloodlust and Haste actually.

Reignition Overdrive:Casts a critical shock wave. 2 tiers of charge, each tier with 12s CD. Its CD is Affected by Haste, calculating formula: 12/(1+x), x=Haste value. It can be cast in casting process, which has no GCD.
Affected by relic trait-Pyroclasmic Paranoia(Reignition Overdrive damage↑) and Blast Furnace(Casts a DOT debuff to the target).
A very strong skill in LEG expansion. Although the effect of ignite andPyroblastDOT can’t diffuse to other targets and its CD becomes longer, Reignition Overdriveoccupies no GCD and can be cast in the time of casting, which gives it a flexible skill position.

The use of new Reignition Overdrive needs fast reaction and network speed of players. It is recommended that you should adjust the keys ofReignition Overdrive, Fireballand Pyroblastto do combos quickly. A high ping will affect the system judges of Hot Streak and Magic Strikes and then affect your skill combo. It is hard to avoid casting 2 tiers of Reignition at a time in adaptation period, so you should do more exercises.

Your target burns for an additional 6% over 9 sec of the total direct damage caused by your Fireball, Fire Blast, Scorch, Pyroblast, and Flamestrike. If this effect is reapplied, any remaining damage will be added to the new Ignite. Every 2 sec, your Ignite may spread to another nearby enemy.
Affected by relic trait-Everburning Consumption(Ignite damage↑) and Phoenix Reborn(Deals damage at some chance rate when target is ignited. Phoenix Impact’s CD↓).

The new mechanism ofIgniteis complex. In general, 1s for one time of Ignite damage, Max Stacking: 9s.
The calculation of ignite pool is as the same as previous WOD version, and no damage overflow.

Example of Ignite mechanism:
In the situation that I casts Fireball under 8 units of stacking and constantly refresh the effect of Ignite of head target:
2s-target 1 sustains ignite damage and diffuses ignite to target 2;
4s-target 1&2 sustain ignite damage and diffuse to target 3&4;

6s-1234, diffuse to 5678; finally this effect ends diffusing among 1-8 units.

The above example is a perfect situation. In fact, the time of ignite diffuse follows server’s time. That means Ignite will begin to diffuse in 0.01-2s real time.
Ignite will not diffuse from small ignite pool to a bigger one. I think the new mechanism in LEG is better than WOD, the second target can also be ignited if the first target is ignited. The burst AOE damage becomes lower in LEG but we don’t need to do burst AOE through Ignite.

Pokemon Go at Comic-Con: There Are Easter Eggs That Nobody Has Found Yet

At Comic-Con, the annual pop culture fest in San Diego, California, Niantic revealed the 3 true faces behind Team Valor, Team Mystic, and Team Instinct in Pokemon Go as well as a lot of teased features.

Members of Team Valor are led by Candela whille Blanche will lead Team Mystic and Team Instinct will meet Spark as their leader. Niantic told Comic-Con attendees that the three team leaders were not quite ready when Pokemon Go launched earlier this month but they are planning to add them in the game and players can expect to have various interactions with their team leaders.

Besides the 3 team leaders, John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic, also confirmed the Eevee evolution trick that by nicknaming your Eevee either Rainer, Pyro or Sparky, your Eevee will evolve into that desired Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon. However, there are many other "Easter Eggs" yet to be found by players.

In other teased new features, new Pokemon and Pokemon trading are going to be added in the game. Niantic are also working on adding more functions to gyms and Pokestop that can be customized. Besides, Pokemon Centers are coming. As for other ideas like breeding, Niantic said it's possible but nothing has been confirmed yet. Another good news is that Niantic stated that they are yet to implement more than 10% of their ideas to Pokemon Go.

While it surely takes times for them to input those new features to the game, Niantic's first priority right now is to stablize the servers, fixing the existing glitches and get Pokemon Go rolling out worldwide. "We expect Pokemon Go to run for years and we are going to continue to invest in it in that way." Hanke said.

Level 23 Pokemon Go Account with Rare High CP Pokemon Been Sold at £7,300

People are starting selling advanced level Pokemon Go accounts on ebay and other account buying/selling platforms for hundreds of dollars. Recently, one Ebay seller based in Brighton even sold his level 23 account for £7,300. The account is completed with several rare and fully-evolved Pokémon including Dragonite, Gyarados, Lapras, Electabuzz, Scyther, Hitmonlee, Lickitung, Mr Mime, Chansey and more.

For those lazy players who don't want to spend time travelling around the city, buying account with pre-caught Pokemon seems to be the fastest way. However, buying and selling accounts is technically illegal and will probably cause the account suspended as it breaks Niantic's terms of service.

One eBay user selling a Pokémon Go account for $1,800 (£1,370) wrote: "The game is great and I had so much fun for the past two and a half weeks but I’m afraid I [have come] to the point where I won’t be able to play much because of work and studies."

Another user who sold his account for $1,500 (£1,144) wrote: "What you’re purchasing is my account, which I have put my time and effort into, which makes this a whole lot easier for you! … I’m just a broke college student in debt, and every penny helps."

If you want to enjoy yourself and try to catch'em all step by step, we've wrapped up a lot of guides for you on our Pokemon Go hub.

Black Desert's New Value Pack Raises Pay-to-Win Concern

$

0

Kakao Games has added a new $15/month Value Pack to Black Desert last week, allowing players to get some gameplay conveniences and benefits in the game. It's a monthly subscription service similar to Premium Membership in other MMOs, and it grants you bonuses on XP gain, weight limit, bag storage, and tax reduce, etc. The tax reducing part makes the community worried since the game is heavily relied on Silver (explained below), and tax reducing maks Members more and more rich.

Value Pack subscribers get marketplace collection tax reduced by 30%
For the duration of the Value Package players will receive a 30% reduction in the amount of tax applied from items sold on the Auction House. For instance: You sell an item for 100% of its value – Minus 30% of taxe – Minus 5% of local taxes = So you get 65% of the original value. With this item you get an extra 30% of those 65% => 84.5%
You can purchase end-game gear only from marketplace with Silver (the in-game currency) because there's no player-to-player trade in the game. Some players believe that the tax reducing help Value Pack holders accumulate Silver a lot faster than normal players, and in other words, it help them directly get the best gear from marketplace faster and easier.

A player on Reddit wrote that:

BDO has huge tax for money sink which is necessary. If you sell a 250 million silvers item on marketplace, the person who buys $15 subscription gets back 211 million silvers after the new tax rate (15.5%) vs the person who doesn't buy subscription gets back only 162.5 million silvers from the game's default tax rate (35%). So, the person with subscription benefited extra 48.5 million silvers which is a lot for doing nothing except spending $$$.

The player pointed out, if directly purchase gear with real world money is pay-to-win, then purchase gear with Silver that directly comes from real world money is also pay-to-win.

What do you think? Tell us whether you think it's pay-to-win or not?

PvP fans will soon find an exciting new feature in Tree of Savior, namely the Big Brawl Update which will be implemented on July 26th. Team battle league and the long-awaited guild battles as well as four new events will be added in this patch.

In team battle league, you can combat players that are in the same regional server with you. You can choose from 2v2 or 5v5 matches but only 5v5 matches are ranked. The team battle league employs a "best of three" format. Winning team will be rewarded with Battle Points that can be used to purchase items such as EXP Cards. Only players at least Rank 5 will be able to participate, though anyone is free to spectate. The team battle league is open 4 times a day, namely 4 AM,  noon, 7 PM and 10 PM and rankings are reset every Monday at midnight (EDT).

As for Guild Battles, it is "a type of PVP play that sets guilds of different servers against each other to compete for victory. They will be available twice a day and the overall guild ranking will be determined based on ELO rules." Each guild will be assigned a random headquarters out of the 8 available areas and the first guild to take down its opponent’s tower wins.

Allods Online developer Allods Team has announced a new project Pirates: Allods Online. This is not a new module for Allods Online but a new standalone project sets in the universe of Allods Online. The game will be published in Russia by Mail.ru (official site) but has no information about the English version. You can watch the trailer below to see some intense pirate ship battles in the sky.

Unique ship style
The game more like a competitive ship battle MMO than a traditional MMORPG. There are 2 factions, one stands out with technology and the other one goes with magic. So naturally the battleships of each faction will be visually distinguish, one takes the steampunk style and the opposite one takes fantasy style.

Ship abilities
You can fly 3 types of ships: Light, Medium, and Heavy. Ships can equip parts/modules for performance increase. There are even special modules that grant your ship particular abilities or extra power such as installing turrets, stealth, and even self-destruction. There are hundreds of ship abilities but each ship can equip no more than 3 at the same time. Here's where strategy and customization lies.

Man Arrested For Sending Death Threats to Blizzard

Maybe you don't like what Blizzard sometimes did for its games, but you surely want a safer way to express your dissatisfaction. Stephen Cebula, 28 from Sacramento, California, was arrested on July 12 after he sent several death threats to Blizzard Entertainment, the famous video game company behind the popular World of Warcraft and Overwatch.

The threats were sent to Blizzard between July 2 and July 3 where Cebula stated that he "may or may not pay [Blizzard] a visit with an AK47 amongst some other 'fun' tools," and "might be inclined to 'cause a disturbance' at [Blizzard's] headquarters in California with an AK47 and a few other 'opportunistic tools.'"

The arraignment is scheduled in next week. If Cebula is found guilty, he could face up to five years in prison and pay $250,000 in fines. Final sentence will be determined upon several variables, though. The document didn't specify the reason why Cebula was so upset and did all of this but threating others' safety is obviously a wrong way.

Here Are Pokemon Go's Region Exclusive Pokemon for EU, NA, Asia, Etc.

$

0

Days ago, we reported that a level 31 trainer from New York had already caught 142 Pokemon only 2 weeks after Pokemon Go released in the US. The ultimate goal of any Pokemon games, however, is always to catch them all. As it is known to all, Pokemon Go features 151 Pokemon in total. So why couldn’t this supposed Master catch the remaining nine?

The reason may be listed as follows

Firstly, there is no legendary pokemon available for the moment. That accounts for the absence of 6 Pokemon including 2 siblings (Mew and Mewtwo), 3 birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) and Ditto. Nintendo has confirmed that the legendary birds will make an appearance in the future.

Secondly, there are 4 Pokemon which can only be found in specific region. Mr Mime is exclusive to Europe, Farfetch'd can only be found in Asia, and Kangaskhan is only available in Australia and New Zealand. Tauros is the North American exclusive.

After knowing all the stuff above, maybe you want to make a visit to those pokemon-exclusive regions. Actually those region-exclusives are still available everywhere by hatching eggs. But most of the time, you will just have a squadron of Pidgey out of your eggs.

It seems that if you want to catch them all, the best way is to travel around to enjoy the game. So will you pay for the trip?

Hello Clash Royale fans, it's kingcrab65 here. And today I am going to share an unstoppable Giant deck with you guys. This deck works pretty well for me in Arena 7 and I also uploaded 15 replays to YouTube so that if you cannot figure out how to play deck work by reading the informative guide, you can just check the replay.

Replays (at least 15 different replays)

My Deck
If you do not have a Valkyrie yet then switch it with the Knight, but if you do have the Valkyrie, then use it instead due to the hit points and spin damage!

How To Use
To use this deck it is imperative that you start off with gaining ELIXIR BENEFIT. For example if someone deploys a herd of Barbarians (5 Elixir) while you deploy a Bomber (3 Elixir) you would gain 2 more elixirs than your opponent. If you do the process well you can even have it to where you have 8 Elixirs while your opponent only has 2 elixirs, therefore you can flood your opponent with strong cards while your opponent needs rush troops or take an "L".

"So how do I use 'Elixir Benefit' in this deck?" you may ask. Simple. All you need to do is wait for your Elixir bar to be at least 9.5 Elixirs then deploy only a single troop (Archers, Spear Goblins or Giant. Recommended). I find that this deck works best when you start off with the Archers because they cannot be killed by arrows in players from Arenas 5-7 or at least 95% of the time. When you start off with Archers deploy them behind the King's Tower, but be sure that both Archers will head in the same direction. If you do not have the Archers in the start off round use the Spear Goblins and follow the same rule of deploying it on one side of the King's Tower. If you do not have the Spear Goblins nor the Archers then use the Giant. However if you still don't have either of the three cards in the start off then slowly cycle your way until you get the Giant... Yes the Giant. When Cycling your deck be sure to deploy the troops as far back as possible so they can also play defense then turn into offense if lucky enough, and NEVER USE THE VALK OR BARBS AS CYCLING TROOPS unless a troop like a Hog or Royale Giant appears. If for some reason you have all three cards (Giant, Archers and Spear Goblins) use the Archers at the back because of their speed which stalls time for more elixir build up and arrows will not one shot them.

Although I just stated that you should wait for your elixir build up; you must also be aware if your attackers starts off with a "Bang" like charging a Prince or a Hog at you. You then must ignore that rule and deploy at least 1 or 2 cards that are below 5 Elixir in total.

Defense ---> Offense
In this deck I find it that this deck can quickly turn a good defense into a good offense...

For instance, in the photo above this paragraph you can see that my opponent had a Valkyrie and Goblins. I then used my Minions to destroy the Valks and Gobs. Right off the bat on the defense move I gained 3 Elixirs while saving my Crown Tower, but that is not all while my Minions slowly play defense they will then turn into Offense players. Of course they need some assistance so...
Just do a better job than me on the Giant timing

Finally, once you got your Giant Down for the meat shield feel free to drop some more troops that is 2-3 Elixirs try not to drop the Barbs or Valks as they can serve for better results in the future battle

Okay so now the Valkyrie. Never use the Valkyrie on any troops like the Hog, Giant, Giant Skeleton. Let your Archers and Spear Goblins take care of them. The only time you should use a Valkyrie is to use it at all time defense. Here is an example, when your opponent uses the Giant Wizard or Giant Witch Combo or anything with a high health troop while there is troops like Wizard, Witch or even the Ice-Wizard. You can then use the Valk never use the Spear Goblins and Archer Defense Combo!

Keep in mind that the two defending Archers are only there to damage the Giant that is in front and also to keep the deck cycling to the Giant where I can start my Attack. Remember to place the Valk where it is behind the Giant and right in front of those "Splash Dealer Troops". If it is just a singular troop feel free to defend by using the Spear Goblins or Archers and drag that troop into the center of the base where it has to Zigzag instead of going straight towards the tower...

STUDY OPPONENTS' MOVES!
This should be something that every Clash Royale Players should understand!
Alright here is how it went for me. When I successfully did Elixir Benefit and made my defense cards into offense cards I noticed that the player tend to use the Minion Horde (5 Elixir) or the Skeleton Army (4 Elixir). A 4 or 5 Elixir Counter move for my 5 Elixir Giant. Not too bad right? WRONG!!!!!!

While that has happened I kept that in mind that the player may save up his/her Minion Horde when I decide to place down my Giant therefore I ready up my arrows and threw them down right after 2.5 seconds of deploying my Giant in the front..
