Final Fantasy XV, the fifteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series, is getting closer and closer to the official release. New details about the upcoming game have been revealed by Square Enix with the purpose of keeping the fans connected.

In a recent interview, Hajime Tabata, the game's director, stated that the first half of Final Fantasy XV will be open world, followed by a second half with a more linear gameplay. According to Tabata, players will be able to complete the entire FFXV gameplay in around fifthy hours. Additionally, Square Enix released the first half an hour of Final Fantasy XV in Japanese, giving one more glimpse on how the game looks and plays. Compared with the English version gameplay which was released before Gamescom, in the Japanese gameplay, the scene with Iris plays very differently along with different dialogue and motion capture too. How to use class order resource?

Class order campaign: You should guarantee you have enough resource before starting class order campaign. If not, your quests can not go forward. Of course, you can’t get the resource steadily in long term, but you will get some in the last part of campaign.

Chest: Chests in Broken Isles is not a good way to get resource. Some chests are hidden in the wild of Legion, there are different number of resources according to chest’s type, so open your eyes! You can buy chest map after getting reputation in regional camp. The location will show on the screen map as . You can buy chest map from camp quartermaster.

Rare event: You can join some rare events around the Broken Isles, which is marked as  on the screen map. You need to kill rare monsters in most of the events, class order resource will drop at some chance. It is advised to do these battles because of the resource and other awards. Notes: you can’t beat those monsters by yourself, you need some help from other players.

Awards events: You may be involved in some random event in your quest region. Those events will award you many resources. In most cases, you can do quests and at the same time finish awards events.

World quests: You can get the most resources in world quests. After LV.110, you can see many quests on the Broken Isles map, which differs from collecting herbs to killing minions. Those quests are time-limited. The new one will show up after the last one disappeared.

Emissary chest: You can receive the quests representing a camp or region once a day. After finishing world quests, you can go to emissary to deliver a chest, which contains lots of resources, but this chest may contain other things.

Assistant: You can send you assistant to do quests at Broken Isles. You can get resource when your assistant use the given gears or you study the technology of class order.

How to use class order resource?

Artifact study: Artifact study note - 500 resources. Every note will add 1 artifact wisdom. Every point of wisdom will improve artifact points.

Technology tree of class order: Every class order hall has its own special technology tree. The tree has 6 tiers, you should choose 1 from 2 in the first 5 tiers. It is advised to enhance your class order hall, such as improving your success rates of quests.

Improve class suit: Every class has 8 sets of suit. You should finish different quests of legion to collect them, such as killing dungeon boss or getting reputation points. These suits can be improved from 810 to 840 by using class order resource.

Quests of class order hall: You need to use resource to begin a quest like WOD version.

Warrior gears: Except druid, monk and shaman, other classes can unlock a special order of technology tree. This order need 50 resource and 12 hours to be finished, which will give you 3 types of gears: +5, +10, +15.

Today VR developer Survios is releasing its first major update for Raw Data since the game hit Early Access on Steam. Raw Data -- the ultimate multiplayer VR combat game for the HTC Vive headset -- debuted as the #1 selling game on Steam’s Top Seller’s list when it was first released, a first for any VR game.

The Raw Data game update introduces:

New Content & Features

New Mission - Nuke Fusion

Experience an all-new Data Chamber-centric area of Eden Corp. Shoot enemies and dodge death beams as you teleshift across precarious platforms, all radiating from the massive reactor powering Eden’s facilities.

New Enemy - Mega Dynomo

With your continuous disruptions of their plan, Eden Corp had to bring out the big guns--literally. Meet the Mega Dynomo: your encounter with him is certain to be smashing. (Pro tip: if you don’t want to deal with the Mega, make taking out those bots booking it to the reactor your top priority!)

New Enemy - Beamfire Mekomo
The upgraded model of the Burstfire Mekomo (of which you’ve already destroyed hundreds) fires solid plasma energy beams with far greater accuracy than its spray-and-pray brethren.

New Defense - Plasma Turret
Turrets: they’ve always got your back. Now you can get an even more powerful version that eschews lasers in favor of plasma-powered directed-energy beams.

New Feature - Rack-Up Screen
Once you’re back in the showroom after completing a mission, Mission Control will share a Data Link displaying your total uploaded raw data, mission scores, Crypto currency rewards, and available unlocked technologies--a.k.a. everything you need to know.

New Feature - Difficulty System
Whether you go it alone or team up with a fellow operative, now you can adjust how hard-hitting Eden’s security system handles your infiltration. There’s even a Nightmare mode for those daring (or foolish) enough to face a truly brutal challenge...

New Feature - Leaderboards
Think you’re the top of SyndiK8’s rankings? Now you can find out for sure with official Raw Data global rankings for individual players! (Note: leaderboards will be periodically cleared throughout Early Access period.)

New Feature - Multiplayer Quickplay
Team up and jump in. What are you waiting for? Humanity depends on you!

Gameplay Improvements/Balance
Cloak Tekomo Improvements - The Cloak Tekomo (“Ninja Bot”) has been gotten a software upgrade with new advanced dodging, cloaking, and combo mechanics. If you sense his presence, be sure to protect your turrets.
Saija Buff - Saija has received various buffs to her stats and abilities across the board that should make her more competitive with Bishop’s damage output.
Cooldown Audio - Added a sound effect to indicate when ability cooldowns have refreshed.

Fixes
Mission Return - When you return to the showroom after a mission, the main menu now defaults to the level select screen if you are the game host or are a single player.
Multiplayer Launch - It is no longer possible to launch a multiplayer game with only one player in the lobby.
Sky Push - As Bishop, it is no longer possible to get into a state where the player character is continuously pushed upward toward the sky.
Gun Loss - The user is no longer able to lose access to one of their guns using toggle/hold controls by dropping guns after firing a Fusion Shot.

Lost Ark Benchmark Test: See What GPUs Can Run the Game in Max Graphics

Lost Ark
has concluded the first closed beta test in South Korea and started to prepare for future test. The beta version recommended a GTX 660 or equivalent if you want to play the game at high settings. But you may ask what PC I need to play the game at max graphics and ultra high resolution? Check out the benchmark test result below to find out.

Test platform

Test GPU

Due to AMD GPUs didn't support some graphics features, it won't be fair to compare NVDIA and AMD's GPUs, so only NVDIA GPUs were used in the test.

1. 1920x1080 (FHD)
This result will please many players who don't have a mid-end / high-end graphic card.

2. 2560x1440 (QHD)

3. 3840x2160 (UHD)

Since the game has confirmed to upgrade to Unreal Engine 4 and add DX12 support in the future, this test's result can't represent the actual performance at launch. However, you can expect the game remains friendly to mid-end & low-end PC after launches.

Clash Royale: Mortar-Bowler Deck That Got Me to Arena 9,No Legendary Required!

$

Hey guys, today we have Infernoplex here to share his Mortar-Bowler deck with us. After the Mortar nerf, Mortar's usage fell down faster than a Zap spell. However with the recent Bowler buff, the Mortar (And X-bow) is finally seeing some play again. Both cards have RIDICULOUS synergy with each other. And, my friends, that is why, I'm bringing you this awesome mortar deck!

This deck (Most of my cards are tournament standard, except for the Epics :c) got me to Arena 9 (3150) easily in 1 week (!), while the Golem deck that I loved so much, the Golem deck that I played for more than 2 months, only hovers me around the 2850 mark. So, without further ado, let me introduce you the cards of my deck!

Note: Even though I said "No legendary cards required", my Mortar deck still contains the Princess. If you don't have the Princess though, there are a lot of alternative options! (Will be discussed later)

My Deck

_______

I. Cards:

Mortar: The superstar of this deck, your main win condition. Low DPS, but quite tanky for its cost. The thing I like about the Mortar compared to the X-bow is that it has the "Dead zone". If your opponent tries to kill the Mortar with ground troops, the Mortar will ignore the troops and will attack the tower, giving you some precious chip damage.

Bowler: The first main supporter of the Mortar. Pushing back light-medium troops, buying time for your Mortar to attack the tower.

Mini P.E.K.K.A: The second supporter of the Mortar, this little beast can tear apart everything, from the smallest Goblins to the heaviest Golems, this card will stop your opponent's attempt at destroying the Mortar. The Mini P.E.K.K.A is also a very good card on defense.

Guards: These little doots (With shield and extra calcium!) will stop your opponent's Mini P.E.K.K.A, which is very popular, and also works well against other troops. Awesome on defense as well.

Arrows: Minions and Minion Horde are two very popular cards, and if they get to your Mortar, Zapping them won't be enough. These arrows will blast through the Minions, as well as goblins and such.

Minion Horde: To be really honest with you, I don't know why I picked this card. But it's just too good. For 5 elixir, you get some beefy-ish Minions that can, and will, kill everything in it's way. Be it a Musketeer or a Giant, the Minion Horde will destroy, or at least severely damage it. Additionally, this decks misses a lot of Air-troops, this card will help balance this weakness.

Rocket: The finisher of this deck (Will be discussed later). The mighty Rocket packs a huge punch, and can destroy any support troops behind a tank. Better yet, if the support troop is on the back of the opponent's crown tower...Free damage!

Princess: A great support troops of this deck, the Princess can take out pesky Goblins, damage opponent's troops without standing too close to the Mortar, and can act as a secondary Mortar if the card is out of rotation. If you don't have a Princess though, there are other great alternatives, such as the Ice Wizard, Lumberjack.... Lol just kidding. Try replacing her with Tesla, Valkyrie, tanky cards to shield for the Mortar.
___________________
II. Replacement:

You can replaced Princess with Tesla
___________________
III. Strategy:

A mortar battle can be divided to two main phases:
1. Mortar siege:
This phase is all about placing your Mortar and protecting it. You can either go first or push the other lane. After your Mortar is down, protect it with all costs(Don't forget your towers though lol). Keep doing that until your opponent's tower health is down to about 2 or 1 rocket(s) away from destruction. Then we move the second phase:

2. Rocket siege:
Turn into defensive mode, protect your tower while making favorable trades. Use the elixir advantage to throw Rockets at your opponent's crown tower.

Optional: Spam emotes at them. It might make them rage quit
Jk don't do it, pls, I had enough of these, make the arena a better place pls

Thanks Infernoplex for sharing this deck with us, this deck first appeared in Clash Royale Community.

Age of Wushu 2 Has "Severe Punishment" for You If Your Character Dies

One of Snail Games' representatives has spoken with the Chinese community about the gameplay of the upcoming sandbox MMO Age of Wushu 2. He reveals some new gameplay details during a community Q&A and I translated some new and interesting contents.

Q: How do you know so many things about the game?
A: I meet and talk to the developer team one time a week.

Q: Age of Wushu 2 is a sandbox, so does the game have any restrictions on class?
A: There is no restriction. It's completely up to players' preference and won't force players to choose anything.

Q: Will the game be different to most MMOs in terms of character death?
A: Yes. There will be severe punishment for character death but I can't go into details now.

Q: Will character suffer certain debuff such as "weak" after they respawn?
A: No. After respawn, your character will fully recover to the status before death.

Q: Will NPCs interact with players?
A: NPCs have their life and relationship. You don't piss them off and they'll be friendly. An exception is bandit NPCs. We are working on a relationship system for NPCs.

Q: Can we build any buildings we want in the game?
A: As long as you have resources and materials you can build things in any styles.

Q: Is the in-game time in AoW2 the same as that in AoW?
A: No. There will be day/night circle. The night will be very dark.

Q: Does the game have 4 different seasons?
A: Not sure yet, but I think it does.

Q: How do the food and eating system work?
A: You have to find food yourself. Food will go bad if it passes the "use-by" date.

Q: Can we eat uncooked food?
A: Yes but it could bring negative effect.

Q: Can we play as pirate?
A: We don't really have sea, but we do allow you to be pirates on the river.

Q: Is it easy to destroy others' houses?
A: Depends on the materials the house is made of.

Q: Is it possible to live / rest in the caves?
A: Yes.

Q: How to get horses?
A: You can tame horses in the wildness.

Q: Does the game have instance?
A: No.

Q: How does the backpack look like?
A: There's weight limit for backpack. So you are restricted by item weight instead of item number.

Q: Will the environment affect combat?
A: Yes. Environment greatly affects combat.

Q: How many villages the game has?
A: Villages can be built by NPCs and players and they can be destroyed as well.

Q: In what areas can we build our own houses?
A: You can build houses in 99% of the game map.

Q: Is there free PK?
A: Yes. Now I don't see any punishment for being criminal.

For other features of the game, you can read them at the game hub.

Report: The Korean MMO Developers Are Facing a Crisis

$

0
The South Korean game developers were once the pioneers of the MMO genre. The Korean game industry was until recently a dominant player on the Asian market and they were the ones who introduced the free-to-play monetization models with online games on PC.

Nexon and NCsoft are just two important game developers who changed the way players from around the world are enjoying the MMORPGs. U.S. and China are competing more and more over the Korean game industry and the result are starting to emerge. Giants like Nexon and NCsoft weren't able to keep up with the increasingly number of players who turned their attention to their smartphones.

According to the report from Financial Times, "Analysts say South Korean companies have focused too much on graphics-heavy  role-playing online battle games that are now losing their appeal among gamers, overshadowed by simpler, more speedily paced offerings." Overwatch is a great example of a fast growing game that was able to impose in no time and take a great share from the Korean market.

NetEase, the developer behind Revelation Online, Endless Gods and Twilight Spirit, announced that they are working on a fantasy-themed 3D mobile MMORPG called Land of Glory. World of Warcraft fans would be quite familiar with the upcoming title since it imports the most authentic WoW experience into mobile platforms. Alex Mayberry, Ex-Blizzard producer behind Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, also got involved in the mobile game. Let’s have a look at its cinematic trailer.

According to the official announcement, this would be a cross-platform game, allowing gamers to continue their quests on PC client/mobile devices. With a 12,960,000-square-meter walkable map of the world, there will be 3 playable races including Human (Mega), Barbarian (Warrior) and Elf (Priest) with male/female characters. Different from other MMORPG, the max level would be the beginning of this game. Players can expect to gain rare, epic and legendary weapons from raids. Of course, if players want to advance faster, they can purchase the gold form the in-game store to buy materials from other players. Auto-fight system is not available in the game.

The first CBT for this game will be available for Android users in China on September 27. We knew that there are publishers from EU/NA are talking with NetEase to bring the game to West. The global launch is expected to come in Q1/Q2 2017.

Tekken 7 VR Version Confirmed to Be PlayStation VR Exclusive

Back in 2015, Sony announced that its famed fighting game Tekken 7 will land on PS4 with the support of PlayStation VR but it was not sure if Tekken 7 VR will be PlayStation VR exclusive or not so PC fans still hold the hope that it will come to Oculus Rift or HTC Vive but now it seems those fans would be disappointed as its producer has confirmed the fact.

Katsuhiro Harada, producer and director of Tekken series, confirmed Tekken 7 VR content will indeed be PlayStation VR exclusive and won't be coming to PC. A fan expressed his disappointment that Tekken 7 will support 4K for the PC version but not PlayStation 4, here's Harada's answer:
Tekken 7 VR version is scheduled to launch on PSVR in early 2017 and we can expect that Summer Lesson, another Harada's VR game, will probably be PSVR exclusive as well. At least, no words on Oculus / HTC Vive release yet.

As for what kind of experience players can expect in the Tekken 7 VR game, Bandai Namco once said told Wired that Tekken 7's VR might not be what you'd expect. Players won't be able to play in first person and hit each other. Instead, it will kinda be third person, allowing players to immerse in the VR world and watch those characters fighting. "The only hints we could probably give is that Tekken is ultimately all about the characters. You want to see the cool characters, the cute female characters like Lucky Chloe, and we have all kinds of customisation for them and they have all these cool techniques that are motion captured.... something that would allow people to enjoy the game in that aspect maybe is about all we can say." senior game designer Michael Murray said.

At previous community Q&A (for Chinese community), Snail Games representative talked about death punishment, sandbox gameplay, NPCs and more in Age of Wushu 2. The developer kept dropping new details and this time the reveal was mainly about mounts and life content. Again, I translated the important and interesting answers here.

>> Q&A #1: There Is "Severe Punishment" If Your Character Dies

Q: Could NPCs join player-created alliance/faction?
A: NPCs' influence on your gaming experience will be real.

Q: Does player house have a "HP"? How do we protect our house?
A: You can repair your house. There is a stat tells the condition (intact or damaged) of your house. Of course other players can destroy your house.

Q: Can others occupy the house I build?
A: No. But people can steal things from your house.

Q: Can I become a farmer and focus on growing crop and raising livestock?
A: Yes.

Q: Is there flying mount?
A: Very likely no.

Q: Are there cats in the game?
A: Cats are too cute to live in the world of AoW2

Q: Is there a limit on how many martial arts a player can learn?
A: Basically no. But if you study venom and poison, you have to always stay with vermin.

Q: Can we loot a player we kill?
A: You can loot anything you want, even the cloths and pants (Note: this looks like a joke to me) on a dead player.

Q: Where do we learn martial arts at the early game phase?
A: You learn from animals and beasts, from NPCs, and by stealing.

Q: Is it easy to tame a wild horse?
A: It will be hard to tame but it will give you the sense of accomplishment once you succeed.

Clash Royale: Hog Mini Pekka 2.9 Cycle Deck That Got Me To Legendary Arena

$
0
0
Hello everyone, it’s Swoopy here to share my Hog Rider + Mini Pekka 2.9 cycle deck. I'm a F2P player. I have been playing the game since the Android release in Europe. I've been testing out about any deck composition.

Hitting legendary arena the first time as a lvl9 with mainly Hog or Giant decks.

I'm currently a new lvl10, I just bought my 1st legendary from the shop (Princess), only received one legendary from a chest which I don't use (The Log). Starting to get used to using the Princess and sitting around 3100 trophies with it I came up with writing a deck guide.

Here go's.

My Deck

Card Breakdown
Hog: Does it need introduction? Imo the best offensive card in the game.
Mini Peka: Tank-killer, support card-killer, can push with hog or double lane attacks. One of the best cards in current meta.
Fire Spirits: Goodbye to minion horde, minions, splash barbs or for pushing with hog/mini pekka.
Skeletons: Allows for a faster cycle, distract (mini) peka, prince,...
Princess: Long-range air support
Zap: the best spell, soooo versatile
Poison: I use it both on offense as defense whenever I see fit
Cannon: Imo every decks need 1 defense building. Being the cheapest defense in the game: easy pick.

My card levels are 9/7/3/1, Exception cannon which is lvl10.

Battle Strategy
So how does this deck plays? Off course it plays fast being so cheap on elixir.

What I try to do is start out with a naked hog attack because I like to see what my opponent uses as a main counter to it. If he plays small troops to counter I react with Zap, If he plays a defensive building I let my hog die for this first attack. If he plays bigger troops (barbs, mini-pekka ...) I set myself up for a defense and will counter-push. If I don't have hog in my starting hand I will cycle to it (putting down skeletons, fire spirits or I might use Poison when opponent starts with elixir collector or princess around his tower)

I would advice too not play the cannon too soon, because if your opponent has a Royal Giant you're gonna be in trouble.

Only play the cannon as cycle card when you know opponent hasn't got the Royal Giant and you don't need to hold on it untill he crosses the bridge.

So we been talking about the start, but how does the game evolve after that?

Depending on the main counters used by your opponent, your attacks gonna look something like this:

Minion Horde/Barbs/higher lvl Goblins/Minions/other defensive troops - Zap/Poison + Mini Pekka/Hog + Fire Spirits

If my opponent uses zap to stop my fire spirits (every time) you can do 3 things:
- Don't mind it, it's trading 2 for 2, back up your hog push with princess/poison/zap combination
- Use Skeletons with the hog, luring out the zap. Follow up by fire spirits close after or even mini peka/fire spirits.
- Push both lanes, make it hard for him to counter both lanes => Be carefull with this, if your opponent runs big tanks (Royal G) it might be better to use Mini Peka mainly for this + counter push.

How does it hold up to popular decks in current meta?

I would say: very well.

- Other Hog decks:being cheap you most likely have the cycle advantage which is important.
Let's compare with the popular trifecta deck: Mini Peka makes a good counter to hog/musk/valk, you can poison elixir collector, use fire spirits/cannon to counter, ...
On offense you have a good shot at doing damage, the Mini Peka will shine in those battles.
I must say hog vs hog also seems to finish in a draw a lot for me
I rate it: 7/10

- Royal Giant:very well! Mini-Pekka will shut it down. Depending on support troops I will use different counters off course.
Examples:
Backuped by Wizard -> Mini P + Cannon (zap if needed)
Backuped by Musketeer -> Mini P + small Troops
Backuped by Air (minion, minion hordes) -> Mini P + Fire spirits or Princess
...
I rate it: 9/10

- Giant: very well ! It plays about the same as vs the Royal Giant
In current Meta you will see Giants being backuped by Guards regularly, you got a lot of counters to this: Fire Spirits, Poison, Princess
I rate it: 9/10

- Air: Hound, Hound/loon, etc: I don't have much trouble dealing with air myself.
I use cannon to distract the hound, let the princess chip away at it.
Zap the pups when hound pops or use poison. Fire Spirits when needed.
Minion or Minion horde as backup? again: fire spirits, zap + princess combo or poison when needed.
Lava Hound being slow and my deck being fast I can cycle to my needed cards easily.
I rate it: 8/10

- Miner Cycle/ Payfecta: Good enough. Since I don't run a pump the miner can't hurt me there.
I get a lot of miner attacks on my princess so I'm try to be ready to defend her with mini P or small troops if possible
For miner/minion horde or miner/mini pekka combo's you got enough to stop them.
I rate it: 7/10

Overall a deck that fits well in the current meta. If you got the princess and wanna try out a hog cycle: give it a shot.

Don't got the princess? I would replace it with archers or spear goblins or musketeer.

That's all for now.

Hopefully some of you like reading this and maybe give the deck a go.
If you got any questions: leave a reply.
