6 New Mobile Games in December That Will Make My Phone's Memory Scream

0
0
What's coming out for December? Oh, you know,

Lineage 2: Revolution

Which all of you will agree, all of our older phones will die in a few hours, after over heating in our hands haha. But play on we will right. With our phones plugged into the walls, sitting next to the nearest power outlet. But, other than this amazing looking game, what else is coming out in December? well, here's the list of games that I will be looking foward to in good ol' winter.

Super Mario Run
Free to play but costs $10 to unlock everything — I think it's safe to say that this is on everyone's list. Did you expect a Mario endless runner? yeah. We all did, but now that it's a reality, I can safely say it wont be deleted from my phone any time soon (once is comes out on December 15).

After School: Girls Tribe
Now, I have no idea what is going on in the trailer, but i don't need to know. School Girls' with large weapons? Yeah, count me in.

Star Ocean: Anamnesis
Wow. If this wasn't on your radar when you heard it coming out, the battle system in this YouTube trailer should be enough for you to want this as much as I do. Who knew that they'd bring the battle system from 2 back?! With the beta open now for Android, I bet some leaks are imminent.

Ragnastrike Angels
Girl's getting into Giant Girl Robots fighting monsters. It's ludicrious sure but it's so anime and the card battling and visuals are great looking enough to chock this one up on my list.

Attack on Titan
Funimation describes the gameplay as an endless reaction runner where timing is crucial, along with other players from around the world, taking on titans together. to me, that could be a winner. so we will see hopefully in December! That's my list so far. What games are you looking foward to this coming month. Leave a comment down below and let me know!

Clash Royale: Bowler Graveyard Control Guide from King's Cup runner-up

0
0
Coltonw83, who was the 2nd place finisher at King's Cup, has posted Bowler Graveyard Control Guide on the Clash Royale subreddit. He said, he had used this deck to reach 4732 trophies (12,8.25,5,2) and used it to win many 12 win chests in grand challenges.

King's Cup final match between Yaoyao and Coltonw83.
The deck:
- Bowler
- Graveyard
- Inferno
- Ice Golem
- Fireball
- Mega Minion
- Zap
- Archers

The main goal of the deck is to defend first and to capitalize on your surviving troops by using them in a counter push with graveyard. Bowler, ice golem, and mega minion thrive in this role as mini tanks (yes even mega minion) and while they tank the tower the graveyard goes to town unleashes tons of dooting damage. This deck can also abuse beatdown decks by quickly pushing the opposite lane after they have deployed their tank at the back.
Bowler (like almost all the troops in this deck) serves as a key defensive tool and is also deadly when unchecked on offense. The main uses of bowler will be to start it from the back behind your weaker hp tower or to be used as a reaction counter to a hog, barbs, or any troop is obviously weak to bowler. It's best to start with low elixir troops at the beginning of the match so bowler should only be played without prior knowledge of the opponents deck when absolutely necessary. In ground match ups (90% of games) when you're both at 10 elixir and you can start the Bowler in the back, this troop is deadly. Paired with the inferno or an ice golem+mega minion he can counter almost any push. Also, if you opponent tries to get smart and push the opposite lane you can merely defend that push and then deploy a graveyard with the bowler to punish your opponent and likely take his tower on the bowler side.
Graveyard is your win condition. Graveyard should be used only when you have other units crossing the bridge unless in a desperate situation. Graveyard is an opportunistic card, it should mainly be used to attack the tower when you have surviving defensive troops crossing the bridge. If either of these threats are incorrectly countered, your opponent can say goodbye to their tower's hp.
Inferno With the rise of hog log as a counter to tombstone and Inferno's strength against lava hound, it is my go to defense despite its nerfs. The inferno does an exceptional job when paired with the any of my defensive troops and if played correctly it can stop any push. If your opponent has lightning then fear not, just space troops well and never place a mega minion with the inferno until your opponent has already use his/her lightning.
Ice Golem is an amazing and versatile card in my deck. It is best used on defense when used as a distraction for your opponents damaging support troops such as musket, mini pekka, bowler, and mega minion. Ice golem + archers or mega minion can quickly dispatch and pesky damage dealers. The ice golem also has an interesting offensive use in this deck. Whenever facing beat down users, you can quickly deploy ice golem at the bridge in the opposite lane to tank the tower and then place a graveyard on the tower to attack. This does two things: it punishes the beat down player's heavy usage of elixir, and it forces them to split their troops in the opposite lane.
Fireball is fireball. It can finish the game with direct damage, it can make POSITIVE ELIXIR TRADES (OJ hype) and it can be used in double elixir alongside graveyard to dispatch any counters your opponent might have (archers, mega minion).
Mega Minion is the best defensive card in the game and can be used to counter push with graveyard. If you're not using this card right now then you're doing something wrong.
Zap is absolutely amazing in this deck. Outside zap's typical effectiveness, it works beautifully on offense to surprise your opponent. Say for instance your mega minion has been tanking while the graveyard is attacking the tower and it is about to die. If you zap the tower, it will re target to the skeletons and you now get multiple mega minion hits on the tower. This concept can be applied to any damaging troop and zap can also be used to take out goblins and archers that have been incorrectly placed archers (correct placement is on the edge of the graveyard circle when defending a graveyard with archers).
Archers are another key defensive tool that are extremely versatile (seeing a theme here?). Archers are also a great starting hand, they can be split at the back for a decent threat to both towers. They are a good anti air card, they output good dps, they are lightning counters so to speak, and they work beautifully on offense when left unchecked.

Recently, Smilegate partnered with Soap TV (비누TV) for a Lost Ark livestream based on the closed beta version. It included a nearly 12 hours of gameplay, filled with exploration, quests, gathering, and PvP, etc. It's a shame that they only used the Fighter class during the whole livestream. Now make yourself a cup of tea and watch the video below.

Below are some artwork and soundtracks for the game, in case you are interested.

Similar to the sea expansion that has been released in Japan, the expansion greatly expands the game world by allowing players to sail to the high sea. Players can explore the following major new locations:
- Continent Jace - a small piece of land of which shores are washed by the ocean and two seas;
- The port city of Eilat is located on a lonely shore of continent Jace;
- Ross Sea - a violent sea that challenges all ships who pass through;
- Blank Water - a deep sea, spilled from the sandy shores of Jace;
- Water Eur is a gracious sea strip.

Evil Factory First Impressions: It's All About Fighting Cool yet Hard Bosses

0
0

From the Beginning, I liked this game. With a mix of Bomberman, the principles of Shadow of the Colossus if I dare say, and any Bullet Hell game you can think of, this caught my attention. I have some gameplay of myself I posted to YouTube, just to show you a few mechanics, and I feel like I have to get the worst out of the way first.

This game is free to play. It has timers for upgrades and a free box that comes in on a daily basis. You get a certian ammount of tries until you have to wait until a meter fills back up. In short, this will take your time and much effort will be spent on perfect runs. From the gameplay alone, you can see I made stupid mistakes that costed me.

In the end, as the video showed, I prevailed, only to be shut down time and time again by the next boss. Yes, this is all about boss fights, and as you go along, they get cooler and cooler as much as they get harder and harder. As of right now, this game is soft launched in the Phillipines. But of course, with the English translation as you can see, it will be coming soon to other regions.

As always, hope you enjoyed the First Impressions ofo Evil Factory and please leave any comments down below.

Trion Worlds Unintentionally Implies that ArcheAge Is Pay-to-Win

0

ArcheAge was launched as a F2P title in September 2014 in North America and Europe. Despite its F2P label, the game's business model was accussed of being P2W. ArcheAge will release the Revelation expansion, aka ArcheAge 3.0, on December 10th. A player in community asked Trion Worlds about the upcoming Revelation pack which can be preordered now:

Are there packs available to buy for the fresh start servers? Or no to prevent people from having an advantage over each other?

And Trion responded:

Great question -- No, this pack is for Legacy Servers only. The Fresh Start servers will have a different pack available at launch that's focused on cosmetics not power or P2W. We want to make sure everyone playing on the fresh start server has an even playing field.

The response was interpreted by the community that Trion admitted ArcheAge was pay-to-win. Trion stressed that the Fresh Start servers won't be P2W, and hopefully they will make sure they remain non-P2W.

Black Desert Online: A Preamble

0
0
I've been following Black Desert Online since I first heard about it in 2011. I avidly watched all the videos and reports about it from Korea, played it on a few non-NA regions as it went global, and was terribly excited when it was finally picked up for a North American release. I love it for a multitude of reasons; character generation is amazing, the game is absolutely stunningly beautiful, there are a million quests covering all sorts of activities, grinding is effective if you just want to go somewhere and slaughter, combat is insanely fun, but most of all, I love it for its complexity.

I am currently enjoying the game a lot more than I did previously. I never did understand the logic behind the arguments that allowing the trade of cash shop items is pay-to-win; if anything I think it's the opposite. Allowing the trade of cash shop items puts them within everyone's reach. It also opens up a larger potential cash flow for the publisher as it creates demand, and thus players with the cash have a reason to buy more than they might otherwise need for just themselves.

Once upon a time all cash shop items were locked to the player who purchased them. But now! Now! Now I can begger my in game self with the purchase of dyes and pets from other players. My inner fashionista is satisfied, another player is richer, and Daum has earned some extra cash. Everyone wins!

It's a huge, open world to explore, there are a vast number of crafting professions, interior decorators can go crazy with the freely decorated housing that includes not only furniture, but wallpapers and floorings as well, there is even horse training and breeding and an in depth interaction system to build relationships with the NPCs. Making friends with the NPCs can get you things from new quests to access to items and special buffs. And pets. I can't forget the pets. I have a cute little fennec fox and a hawk that likes to sit on my shoulder. They collect loot for you, have their own special abilities and you can breed them.

Want to live your life as a chef, cooking for players and NPCs alike? You can do that. Explore the lands as a miner or woodsman, looking for the mother lode? Have a farm? You can do that. Create a vast trading empire that stretches from one end of the continent to the other? Build a boat and set sail, hunt whales, or kick back and fish? You can do that, too. I have on e character who wanders the world slaughtering everything she comes across, another who hides in the wilderness growing herbs and brewing up potions and cooking tasty meals, and one who sits fishing. I could do all these things on one character if I wanted, but I've gravitated towards different things with different characters.

The price of complexity is a steep learning curve however, and I know quite a few people who have tried the game only to give it up in confusion. When coming back to the game after a few months break, I've found myself floundering at times, so here is a selection of advice for new players trying to find their way in the world.

Questing
  • Do not do all quests. Most MMOs train us to blindly take all quests that we encounter and clicking through dialogue without even reading it; however if you do that in Black Desert you will never leave the starter areas. Taking all quests that you come across will slow or even outright stop your character growth as you bog down endlessly performing low level tasks. There are a million and one quests and they just keep on coming, so choose selectively based upon what you're doing. If you only take one piece of advice from me, I would say make it this one – read the quest dialogue and rewards and choose selectively.
  • The suggested tab in the quest journal is your friend. Quest for inventory spaces!
  • You can toggle different types of quests in your quest journal, and this will determine which quests you see in the world. Hit O and look to the bottom of the quest journal. There are buttons for different categories, so if you don't want to craft just turn off the life quests and you won't even see them in the world.

Crafting
  • Potions can be turned into larger potions using simple processing. Hit L, click Simple Alchemy, and right click a low level potion to turn 3 of them into a higher level one.
  • All crafts can be done on one character. I recommend scattering them across multiple characters for inventory management.
  • Cooking and alchemy are done directly by the player. Just buy the station and put it in your house. Everything else must be done via minions.

Making Money
  • Everything makes money - so do what you enjoy doing. I really like farming, for example. Not only can I grow items to sell to other players, but taking care of my farms will proc items that I can exchange with NPCs for contribution points, XP, cash and consumables.
  • Many simple items can be exchanged with NPCs for cash or other rarer items.
  • Alts are encouraged. Anything purchased with contribution points is shared with your entire account, and while your energy maximum is used across all characters, each character has its own energy pool. You can either use this energy directly by switching characters and performing tasks, or you can turn unused energy into energy potions. And if you're not using it – those energy potion sell for a pretty penny.
  • An easy way to make money is to afk fish. Just leave your game on all night while you sleep, fishing pole equipped. It minimizes to the task bar to decrease system resources, so you can leave it on all the time if you like. And presto! Wake up in the morning to thousands of silver, if not hundreds of thousands or even millions as your fishing reaches higher levels. It's really that easy. As an added bonus, sometimes you can fish up ancient relics which turn into scrolls that summon bosses.
I will be writing further in depth guides and reviews, so keep watching!

Endless Space 2, Early Access First Impressions

0
0
For anyone who likes space adventure and conquest games that are a bit demanding, Endless Space is a gem. Amplitude, the studio behind this intergalactic 4X game is back with a second episode that is now in Early Access on Steam. After the success of the first, expectations are high. Good news, Endless Space 2 didn’t stray too far from what made the success of its predecessor.

With Sins of a Solar Empire, Master of Orion, Civilization: Beyond Earth, Galactic Civilizations (no relation to the former) or even the excellent Stellaris, the 4X genre (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate) seems irremediably attracted by the concepts of infinite space and galactic empires. And while this may came as surprising for some, the first 4X game, Reach for the Stars released in 1983, took place in outer space. Almost thirty years later, it is a French studio that stands out in this genre with Endless Space, a title that has now reached the status of cult for all the space opera lovers. Do not forget that Amplitude is also one of those studios that always seem to know how to renew its successful licenses. After passing through the medieval fantasy with another 4X called Endless Legend, and the dungeon-crawler with Dungeon of the Endless, Amplitude goes back to Endless Space, this time under the banner of Sega.

First of all, keep in mind that the game is in early access. Regardless, the game still looks great in its final version and no noticeable bugs have affected my gameplay so far. Moreover, developers are always working to improve what can still be improved, and slowly adding the many missing features. Thus, there are only two types of victory conditions available in early access, scoring and military, which somewhat limits the game experience. Regarding the races, there are currently 4 available ones. And big news, they are totally asymmetrical, each has its own style of play.

The Cravers, for example, are militaristic, expansionist and generally motivated by a desire to destroy, where Sophons are nice scholars, most likely to focus on scientific development than on fights. The Lumeris, meanwhile, are merchants, always looking for their best financial interests. The Vodyani, however, are difficult to describe. This race is the result of uncontrolled overdevelopment, and literally sucks the resources of the planets they encounter without bothering to colonize them.

The principle remains unchanged from the setting of Endless Space: the player is the leader of a nation in the middle of space, which will expand its empire and explore the galaxy, develop itself technologically and militarily, but also manage its domestic policy, with a galactic senate system divided between factions or clans. These are separated according to their affinities (Ecologists, Religious, Militarists, Pacifists, Industrialists), their loyalty to you changing according to your actions. Moreover, the atmosphere of Endless Space is still clearly present, both in the the interface and some of the new options. Evidence that a studio take the best of its previous titles to offer increasingly complete and enjoyable games.

UI navigation is now much more fluid, without the player being drowned in numbers with each click. Tabs display the minimum required information, without polluting the statistics screen, which are obtained through the very friendly "scan" function. This displays the details of planets, their economy, their population, and so on. No need to beat around the bush, the interface is rid of all reproaches that we could have against Endless Space.

Diplomacy and policies will play a major role in Endless Space 2. Each player action, from the choices of quest to the assimilation of other races, and even technological research or construction of buildings, will impact the factions within your senate and the results of elections held regularly. And the weight of each faction will determine which laws you can vote for or repeal, knowing that the dominant political faction can pass laws without your consent. Note that (fortunately?) you can rig elections by funding your candidate, bribing or threatening the opposing candidates, and so on. Thankfully, these shenanigans are rarely required, and the political changes regarding who is in power can sometimes be beneficial. Additionally, certain quests will move the senate towards the direction you desire, or conversely bring about the end of your empire, plunging into the sort of political anarchy that has Trump elected as president.

Regarding the military matters, some might be disappointed to see that there are no fight where your are in manual control. You are the emperor, not a lowly space admiral. The fighting, generally offers three tactical choices, more or less compatible with the type of vessels or land units that you encounter. It is, admittedly, a bit limited and we can only hope for the addition or more options in the final version of Endless Space 2. But for now, depending on your choice and the forces you are fighting, it is the AI that determines the outcome of the battle, the player here being only a passive spectator.

Conclusion

As it stands, Endless Space 2 promises to be a great title. Graphically beautiful, intuitive and readable without disappointing fans of 4X hardcore games. The developers are really taking advantage of the Early Access to reveal its flaws and improve the game. Each patch balances the game with a number of fixes, gradually correcting anything fans could complain about on release. We can also expect new playable races, perhaps new political factions, a more extensive technology tree and a fleet that moves a bit faster. What really matters is the transformation of gameplay, more intuitive, more fluid, more accessible, strongly inspired by Endless Legend.

My.com hasn't announced the second closed beta date for NA/EU version. However, it's expected that there will be at least one beta phase in December. Rumor says that the open beta could start in December as well.

Exclusive Interview With ConvictVR - A New Fast Paced VR Shooter

0
0
Recently, a fast paced FPS VR shooter game called ConvictVR has become popular in China’s offline VR experience stores. 2P had the opportunity to interview with Frank Bloemendal, Co-founder at Shortfuse, to talk about the upcoming VR eSports game.

Frank Bloemendal

1. For the many fans who don’t know Shortfuse Game Studio, Could you introduce the company and its main projects?

Shortfuse is a VR game studio based in Xiamen focused on developing fun and immersive games for the VR industry. Our main project right now is a virtual reality PVP first person shooter called ConvictVR.

2. What’s the future strategic plan for Shortfuse Game Studio?

We want to stimulate the adoption of VR. It is a fantastic medium with so much potential. But for VR to become successful there must be good content. In China, VR has made an interesting development compared to the US. VR arcade are a social activities that you share with friends, where you compare your skills to others. Therefore with Shortfuse we want to focus on eSport and competition among friends. Making VR social instead of singleplayer enhances the experience so much!

3. Could you explain the PVP game modes, weapons and the maps in ConvictVR?

We will have 3 game modes in ConvictVR. Assault, King of the hill and Deathmatch . In Assault there are two teams. One team attacks and must destroy two objectives while the other team has to make sure they do not succeed. In king of the hill two teams battle for control of a central point in the map. The team that managed to control the central point till their score reaches 100% will win the match. In Deathmatch everybody is your enemy, you have to get as many points as possible to be the best.

4. When will ConvictVR be released in China? What updates can we expect after the first release?

Right now ConvictVR is available for Arcade halls to test the core of the game and give feedback. It will be released on December 15th. Compared to the beta version that is out now the new version will include a new map, the new game mode King of the hill, 2 new characters what also means new weapons to battle with and new tactics to beat the opponent!

5. How to avoid VR sickness and how to give the players the most immersive experience in a competitive VR game?

To avoid motion sickness we had to forget the way traditional games worked. We all love games like Counterstrike and crossfire. But in VR we do not have so much freedom. Basically anything camera related we cannot touch and we development our own unique teleportation system. Our special system allows you to move around fast and without thinking. So you can focus on how to beat your opponent. Which in my opinion is very important for immersion. You want the player to forget they are in VR so if they can focus on their objective and completely focus on their goal they will also forget that what they see is a simulation. The more primal part of the brain takes over haha.

6. What do you think is the most important element for VR eSports games? Graphic, competitiveness or Interaction?

If we think about eSport competitiveness is most important. For eSport it is important that training makes you actually better at the game and you want to be able to compare yourself to others. It is nice to have amazing graphics, but graphics alone does not make a game good. Without competitiveness it is not even worth having a competition.

7. What will Shortfuse do to make ConvictVR stand out from the rest VR eSports titles in the market?

Within the FPS genre we stand out due to our fast paced gameplay. All shooters right now are slower than us. Our players don’t have to concentrate on how to move around in the game. Instead they need to focus on what the best attack of defend tactic is. In addition to that they need to get skilled with their weapon. ConvictVR is not like traditional shooting games. If you have been trained in shooting in real life, you will have a massive advantage over other players. I myself have been able to play the game very often. In the beginning I barely made a headshot but after practice I became rather skilled. After this release we will not stop developing ConvictVR. We keep in touch with the arcade halls because we need to know what they and the players want. Together we can make ConvictVR even better than it already is.

Revelation Online developer NetEase Games has just unveiled the new ultimate skills for each class in a new video. These new ultimates will be first implemented to the Chinese version in December and may be added to the western version in the future. Watch the trailer below and then read the new ultimates details (abilities are subjected to change for the western version).

Spiritshaper

Cast a spirit that can heal a target for 300 seconds. At the same time the spirit itself channels an area healing spell that heals the allies around for 30 seconds.

Vanguard

Significantly increases self and allies' (in 30m radius) max HP while heals some HP for 5 seconds. This ultimate skill can be used when Vanguard is affected by enemy's control skills.

Blademaster

The spinning blade can deal large amount of damage to enemies. Blademaster immunes all damage when he uses this ability.

Swordmage

Boosts self and allies' ultimate charge speed. The level of the ultimate ability will affect the charge speed.

Gunslinger

Shoot 3 missiles to greatly damage the targets and make them bleed. Immunes all damage during this process.

Occultist
Occultist's new ultimate includes 2 hits. The first hit seals the target's ultimate ability for up to 10 seconds, and the second hit deals a lot of damage to the target but unseal its ultimate ability.

Clash Royale: Mortar Tesla Siege Cycle Deck - Arenas 8 & 9+

Hi guys and gals Galbers Gaming here. As I often state I only do guides when the deck is capable of reaching 3500 trophies with card levels no more than 10/7/4/1 (although this is becoming harder and harder as Clashers upgrade their cards - I’m currently holding back) which brings me to introduce the Mortar Tesla Siege Cycle Deck.

This is a really satisfying deck. It went through three different forms before I found this variant and pushed over 3500 with it, but any of those decks should have been capable of reaching 3500 eventually (through luck of the draw), however the final version is in my view the strongest and that deck includes:

Ice Spirit (10), Fire Spirits (10), Log (1) , Archers (10), Mega Minion (7), Tesla (9), Mortar (10), Bowler (4)

Looking at the above it’s no wonder I enjoy playing the deck as six of cards (the non building units) are among my favorites and individually they are very strong cards in the game right now, so perhaps it’s not so surprising that this deck is so successful. For those who don’t have the Log you can switch it out for Zap or Arrows, both of which aren’t quite as good as the Log but they will do.

Strategy

To put down the tesla on the river slightly on the inward side of the bridge allowing the placement of the Mortar on the outside and one tile back. From here you use the rest of your troops to protect or delay damage happening to your Mortar.

As with most siege decks there is normally an element of premeditation. By this I am referring to you the siege player knowing what card cycle your opponent is on and what card he or she is going to play in response to you dropping your Tesla/Mortar so that when they do you can hard counter their counter! For example you drop down your Mortar they drop their Skeleton Army which you anticipated and thus mow it down with your Log. And as this is a siege deck there is an element of that premeditation but not nearly as much as other siege decks due to your Tesla which buys you some reaction time, the Ice Spirit also does this too. Another big advantage that you have when playing this deck is the rarity of it, people just don’t know how to respond to it.

It is imperative that you do not lose a tower. Once you lose a tower you have to attack the other side because your opponent now has the ability to drop troops on your Mortar. Losing a tower also allows your opponent more options to attack and to disrupt you Mortar play. So, defend well and efficiently and your opponents will really struggle to deal with it.

Ice Spirit
This you use to cycle through your deck and allows you some reaction time through its one and half second freeze. Before I had the Tesla in the deck I used to drop the Mortar, wait half a second then drop the Ice Spirit and see how the opponents responds, if they didn’t you still get a hundred odd damage from the little spirit on the enemy’s tower.

Fire Spirits
This like the Ice Spirit you use to cycle through your deck and is exception good versus Minion Horde, Minions, Barbarians, Goblins, etc.

Log
If you don’t need to save it for a particular instance, eg: Princess, Skeleton Army, Goblin Barrel or Barbarians, then use this whenever there is some value (thus becomes a cycle card) and/or you want to delay unit(s) getting to your Mortar in which case you’ll also get damage on the opponent’s tower.

Archers
Supporting units which are difficult to remove from the field which makes them strong. Very good when paired with Ice Spirit. Be wary of the Mega Minion (7) which when at Tournament Levels one shots Archers (9).

Mega Minion
This card is just a beast, again difficult to remove from the field, has big damage and has added value because its move speed is slow thus has longer time over ‘the area of battle’ before getting killed off by the enemy’s tower or whatever. Even post nerf this card is still a good card and it will still work in this deck.

Tesla
A card which doesn’t see much play but is strong when played in this offensive defensive position, on the river protecting the Mortar! The relatively quick attack speed with the ability to hit ground and air as well as invulnerability when buried makes this card extremely valuable in this style of play.

Mortar
Not much needed here, you want this fella to bombard the enemy’s tower. Value can be gained when it hits troops (as well as the tower) which were dropped at the King’s Tower, freezing troops with the Ice Spirit on the tower is a nice bonus :). Normally place this one tile back from the river, behind the Tesla and make sure not to place behind the stones on the far side of the arena as this is out of range of the enemy’s tower.

Bowler
I have not played with this card that much, missed the boat with Goison. I really like him, he works exceptionally well in this deck due to his knockback (delay) and this deck’s playstyle - funnelling troops on the bridge. He is also very strong in defence and can even tank some hits if need be.

Other Notes
The only deck that will give you issues is a Lava Hound deck but bear in mind these are generally difficult to deal with. If the Lava Hound player tries to defend against your strategy you can certainly pull off win or a draw but if the player ignores it and just pushes down the other lane, chances are with the opponent.
Versus Giants you want to use your cards cycling capability to get damage on the enemy’s tower, this works because Giant decks are typically all about the big expensive push which you are able to disrupt due to your cheap cycling cards that forces the opponent not to be able to get that big push off. Don’t be afraid to swap lanes forcing your opponent to not get off his/her big push, you don’t want to place your Mortar down only for the opponent to drop a Giant on the Bridge. Also you should bear in mind that your Mortar has a minimum range, if troops are in this range it will ignore them. This is an advantage as it can target supporting troops as well as the enemy’s tower if need be.

In summary, I was really surprised how well this deck worked. The forward Tesla with supporting troops really shuts down just about everything, it is a very difficult style to play against. If you have any questions please just let me know.
