You can't imagine how much the South Korean players love the Lineage IP. There are still a lot of people there play the original Lineage game, and now a lot of Korean players are playing Lineage 2: Revolution, an Unreal Engine 4 mobile MMORPG launches in South Korea on December 14, 2016.

According to report, on the launch day, Lineage 2: Revolution was downloaded more than 2 million times. And reported by Netmarble, the publisher of the game, the game's sales reached $5,893,000 USD in Korea. Two weeks after launch, Lineage 2: Revolution made approximately $42,000,000 USD, which was about $3 million USD each day.



In case you didn't know, the game is currently available only in Korea, and it has scored 500,000 concurrent users milestone on 120 game servers, each of which is capable of holding around 7,000 players. Lineage 2: Revolution secures the top place in both Korean Google Play and App Store.

According to Samsung securities analyst Yang Seung-woo, "the value of Lineage 2 Revolution is worth about 2 trillion Korean won. We expect Netmarble’s market capitalization to rise from 4 trillion Won ($3,36 billion) to 6 trillion Won ($5 billion).”

Currently, RO Mobile is on its CLOSED BETA TEST in China and the game is currently in Chinese language. Much of this guide and other guides out there are based on common sense, detective work, tinkering, testing, rough translations and translations by players who understand both Chinese and English language. I on the other hand have 99.99% NO IDEA about Chinese language. All I know is Chinese food taste awesome and in relation with Chinese letters, they look like some hieroglyphic symbols and shapes. One of the good things about RO Mobile is the game itself, even with the BETA game client version, does not require you to be literate in Chinese to understand and have fun.  Please take note that registration is best to be done using a desktop/laptop computer with a Google Chrome browser. Registering an account WILL NOTguarantee an access to the CBT since you need a CBT key or account made while the CBT event is active (already finished).

2: Black Screen after installation followed by App not responding - This issue occurs due to a corrupted APK file. Uninstall the corrupted app, re-download the game client/APK and reinstall.

3: Stuck on loading screen - wait at least 5 minutes before doing this step. Tap and Hold your home button, You should see your Ragnarok Mobile window turns small and placed on the right side. Then tap the minimized Ragnarok Mobile game window. IF the window shows the same Loading screen then just give it more time as it is still checking the files... IF the window shows a TOTAL BLACK screen then please exit the app and rerun it again.

4: Disconnected message - tap the yellow button to reconnect. Exiting the app and reopening it will consume more time, but if tapping the yellow button doesn't work then this will be your last resort. IF the server is UNDER MAINTENANCE then please try again later.
5: Stuck in Trying to Connect - make sure that you have a stable connection. Most of the time this occurs due to massive influx of players trying to connect to the server especially after the completion of a server maintenance.
6: KEY REQUIRED - as mentioned before, you need a CBT key to participate on this server.
7: How can i log out or change account or log in another account? Please follow the steps below:
7.1: Tap the account icon on the upper right corner.
7.2: then tap the Red button to log out the current account.

7.3: If you want to log-in again then please select the correct log in type (TapTap, QQ or XD.com) and enter your Username and Password.
8: Game Crash: The NEW GAME CLIENT should already fix this issue. If you still experience this problem then please check the Suggested Optimized Settings on the Settings Guide.

9: Fail to install: Check your remaining storage capacity and make sure that the space is more than 2GB. For the NEW APK, please try to RENAME the APK file before transferring it to your device.

10: Missing mob/npc/item: Known issue, just restart the game client and it should be fine afterwards. 1: Tap an empty slot then tap the create character button
2: Now select your favorite Job. Please take note that selecting a Job in this stage will not prevent you from choosing another job/class on the actual Job Change Quest. In fact, I chose a Knight at character creation and I chose Archer on the actual Job Change Quest.
 Note: Merchant/Blacksmith class is not yet available.

3: Now its time to design your character! 3.1: Gender Selection Yay! No Gender Lock!
3.2: Select your hair style and use the left and right arrow head buttons to change hair color.
3.3: Checkout a few sample head gears! Please take note that your character won’t be bringing any of these head gears lolz sample only!
3.4: Enter your character name. Character name should be a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 8 characters. No spaces but special characters are allowed.
3.5: Confirm button finalize your character
3.6: Character information (Again you can choose a different Job/Class on the actual Job Change Quest)
3.7: Your overall character design.
3.X: Cancel button, tap this to go back to the main character window.

4: In case you want to delete a character then please follow the steps below: 4.1: Select the character you want to delete
4.2: Tap the trashbin/delete icon
4.3: Type "DELETE" on the text box
4.4: Tap the confirm button

Note: There is a limit of 5? character deletion per 24 hours. Once you deleted 5 characters then you need to wait for the next server reset to be able to use the delete character function. The lower the character level is, the faster the deletion can take. Level 10 below character can be deleted instantly while level 20+ requires at least 30 minutes to delete.

After tapping the Confirm button your character will automatically enter the game world.
 Interaction Control: tapping NPC, Items, features etc is the basic interaction control in this game. 

Movement Controls: There are 2 ways that you can move around with your character.
1st is the "TAP and move" which will make your character run to the location where you tapped. 
2nd is the "Tap, Hold and Drag" which will show a control pad where you tapped. Your character will move along the direction of the control circle. Note: You may switch from one control scheme to another any time you like.
Suggestion: If you plan on doing a "kiting/Hit and run" strategy, then the best control is the "Tap, Hold and Drag" while taking a pause whenever you want to cast/tap a skill.

LadyJazz! :The very first on the long list of NPC's you will encounter ingame is LadyJazz! Although that is not her real name translation, i just gave her that nickname due to how she looks like. You will encounter this NPC in each and every map(?) and this is the very first NPC you should talk to when you enter a new zone. LadyJazz will give you a quest and ofc rewards like teleportation item, unlocks your current map NPC list on your adventure quest and best of all, she will heal you to full health whenever you get close to her range! Need some love? Then go to LadyJazz!
 
MAIN QUEST as the name implies, this are the type of quest that will move you forward to your adventures. The main quest is typically tied to the main story quest and composes of TUTORIAL quest along the way. NPC's that will provide a Main Quest are marked with a Yellow/Golden Quest icon. Main Quest provides nice amount of Base and Job EXP, Zeny, Items and many more. Completing the Main Quest if your main priority.
SUB QUEST also known as the Green Quest due to the color of the quest indicator. You will be able to accept sub quest's as soon as your character reach level 5. A green exclamation mark on the minimap indicates a Sub Quest on that location. Please interact with the NPC/Object to accept the sub quest.
Gameplay Strategy: Please accept/start sub quest only AFTER you have completed your very first JOB CHANGE quest. Completing sub quest below level 10-11 will prevent you from receiving the Job EXP rewards. IF you follow and complete the MAIN QUEST from level 1 to 9 then you will easily reach level 10 Novice Job Level which is the requirement for the 1st Job Change. Your character will no longer be able to make use of the Job EXP unless you completed the Job Change.

Auto-Path System makes everything easy and it is the very first thing the main quest tutorials will teach you. Once a quest is received it will be tracked automatically on the Quest Tracker. You may tap on the quest inside the tracker and if that quest requires you to go to a certain location or kill a monsters which are found on that spot then just tap the MINIMAP and it will open the Auto-Path window. Tap on any location on the Auto-Path window and your character will automatically go there.
Quest Tracker can be found on the right hand side of the game window just below the mini map. Tapping the quest on the tracker will mark the target location on the mini map. From killing a number of monsters to gathering a certain item, you will see the quest objectives on the quest tracker itself. You may tap and drag up or down to scroll up/down the quest list on the quest tracker. 

Note: When you perform a certain action, for example killing a certain monster, the quest tracker will automatically select the quest related to that action if the quest exist.
Gameplay Strategy: When you reach Novice Level 4-5 the girl knight NPC who gave you your very 1st main quest will ask you to allocate your stat points. More information will be provided later regarding each stat benefits but for now please allocate all your stat points to STR. Don't worry about it since you will get a FREE Stat Reset after completing your 1st Job Change Quest and you can re-allocate your stat points again.

First Head Gear: You will receive your very first head gear quest at level 4. Please check the picture below for more information. 
Here you will choose from one of two head gears. Choices are, 1: Poring Hat and 2: Egg Shell Hat.

Head Gear Crafting Guide: The first item you need to craft a head gear is the head gear BLUEPRINT/SCROLL which contains the design and the list of materials needed to craft the head hear. You can get this head gear blueprints from quest rewards, monster drops and from Head Gear Blueprint seller NPC. You may proceed in crafting your head gear after acquiring all needed materials. 

To view the required materials for your head gear, please open your bag then 1 tap the head gear blueprint and 2 tap the materials button.
After tapping the materials button you will see a similar window like the picture below. The materials window will show you both item and zeny fee required for crafting. Please tap the Craft button and your character will auto-path to the nearest Head Gear Crafting NPC.Note: Both Poring hat and Egg Shell hat have the same required materials.

Head Gear Crafting NPC: you will meet this NPC on mostly every city and on the starting area (possibly on other areas too).
Tap the craft button on your head gear scroll to craft it.

SELFIE SYSTEM (Scenery) Guide: The very first Selfie System quest that you will receive is the Scenery Capture quest which will require you to take a photo of the portal leading to Izlude city. Tap the Selfie Camera icon to proceed.
You have to make sure that the camera icon is inside the focus square when taking Scenery Selfies. 
Positioning: before tapping the selfie camera icon you should position your character where it is best to capture the scenery where the camera icon is captured.
Zooming: You can use the zoom in/out scroll bar to get a wider view of the scenery. This will also help in making sure that the camera icon is captured. Note: The shot wont be recognized by the Selfie System unless the camera icon is Green. Once the shot is recognized, it will be recorded on your Adventure Notes under Scenery Selfie collection. Each recorded shots will provide a set amount of adventure exp.

Additional Effects: Tap the gear icon on the upper right corner to open the additional settings window.~ITEM, MONSTER & NPC TRACKING GUIDE~1: Tap the item you want to track and if you can see the Tracking Button then it means you can find where this item came from. In this case I tapped the apple juice.
2: Tap the TRACK button on the upper right corner of the item window.
3: The Track window will appear showing where you can get the item. In this example it shows the 2 monsters that drops the apple juice. 
4: Please tap the magnifying glass icon so that you will be able to find the location of the item source. In the example, I tapped the magnifying glass of the poring monster.
5: After tapping the magnifying glass icon, the icon itself will turn into an X icon and you will receive a TRACKING QUEST INDICATOR on your QUEST TRACKER.
Now let us move on to theMONSTER Tracking...
6: Tap the Tracking Quest on your Quest Tracker window.
7:Now you should be able to see where you should go to find the location of the monster where the item is dropped. Just tap the mini map and tap the location on the Auto-Path window to automatically move to the location of the monster.
Note: to remove/close the Monster Tracking Quest, just tap that small X button on the upper right side. Its better if you are using a touch pen.

Now let us move on to the NPC Tracking...8: NPC tracking is just a little bit different, it is more convenient! Just follow steps 1, 2 and 3 then as you can see, the tracking indicator is different, it Is a ( > ) sign which actually means automatically move on the NPC location. Which your character will do.​

  
1:To enable auto attack mode, just simple tap the Auto Attack icon on the lower right corner of the screen.
2: You may select the specific monster that your character will attack or you may select ATTACK ALL which makes your character attack all monsters nearby. Please be careful in selecting attack all since there are high level monsters and bosses roaming around.
3: Put a check mark to this option if you want your character to use potions when HP/MP is low.Note: Novice Job Level Cap is level 10.

The quest will be given by the Knight NPC on the South Prontera map (Novice starting area). Just follow this quest and DO NOT accept any other quest. Ignore both Yellow and Green quest indicator on the map. Once the quest ask you to enter the Job Change Building... Good luck!
Your character will automatically approach and talk to the GrandNPC (he's wearing a Grand Circlet lolz!)  1: The first thing you need to do is find the blacksmith NPC. You can easily pin point the NPC location by looking for a hammer and anvil icon on the minimap. Talk to the NPC and you should get the window below.
 2: Select the item that you would like to craft.
3: This is where you can see the required materials, quantity and the amount of crafting fee.
4: If you want to view the equipment stats then all you need to do is tap the equipment.
5: Tapping the item will open up the item information window.

Now to show you how Over Powered this items are, here is a comparison.Gameplay Strategy: As you can see, the crafted bow not only looks better but also have a lot of bonus stats. Another fact is, the crafted bow only have a LEVEL 1 requirement to equip while the bow on the right requires Level 30! Last but not the least, the crafted bow have a CARD SLOT where you can put your card! Keep this bow fully upgraded and insert the very first card you get to this weapon as you will use this even when you reach level 30+.

I think this is a temporary feature since Merchant Job/Class is not yet playable. However, if its not, then merchant's crafted items should be better than this stuff or else their business is doomed and the class itself will be useless. This feature is as old as the game itself. Monster Card and Card slots exist way back the very first Ragnarok Online game and it is one of the most valuable and popular feature. With the card system, you can increase your character stats, imbue certain buffs, and even make your character use skills that does not belong to its Job/Class skill tree!

Note: You can get Monster Cards from Quest and Monster Drops.1: To put a card on a equipment slot, first open your bag and tap the card.
2: This indicator shows what to what type of equipment the card can be attached. In this case the indicator shows weapon.
3: This is where you can see the card bonus stats. (50 attack and 10 Defense?)
4: Please tap the attach button and the equipment selection window should pop up.
 5: This indicates how many cards can be attached to the item. You can also scroll down on the item info window to see the card slots.
6: Tap the attach button on the item where you want to put the card
7: Tap the confirm button to attach the card to the item.
 8: Once a card is attached to an item the card slot indicator will turn to gray. To check what the card benefits are or to confirm if what cards are attached to the item, just tap the item on your equipment or bag.
9: You may have to scroll down on the item information window to see the card bonus.1: To start your daily boards quest, please look for the BoardNPC and tap it. 
 2: This is where you can find the quest dialogue or request info. Probably contain some hints about the quest... but I cant read Chinese lolz!
3: This is where you will see the BASE EXP, JOB EXP, Zeny and the item reward.
4: Tap the accept button to start the quest.
5: This is the current EXP value. It starts with 100% and as you complete more quest, this value will increase with a maximum of 200% after completing the 9th Boards Quest which increases the Base and Job Exp rewards.
6: Current remaining time before the Boards Quest resets. You can do another 10 Boards Quest after the server reset.
 

Oasis Games Ltd, a leading independent publisher, today announced updated content for Naruto Online, the turn-based MMORPG for Windows PC. Following its recent award for Facebook’s Best Web Game of 2016, Naruto Online  will be receiving a host of additions to start the new year strong. This 2.0 update will implement new features including changes to the Arena, new Main Character Talents, additions to the Home Interface and much more! In the version 2.0 update, a new Season mode has been added which rewards players at the start of each new season based on the highest rank achieved in the previous season. Once a new Rank is reached, players will be awarded that Rank’s reward. Players will also be able to test lineups in the Arena’s Training Battle mode without worrying about losing Rank Points. Upon reaching level 55, a new ninja testing function will become available which will allow players to pick ninjas of their choice to try out in battle.

Bless Online Korea will celebrate its first anniversary later this month, and it's planning for another server merge as well. The publisher Pmang merges two original servers (Bandouin and Tania) into one, called Lumen, and will offer compensations players who are affected.

The so-call "server integration" for the Korean version was conducted in February and June in 2016, so this is the third time the game merges the server. After that the original 10 servers will be merged to 1.
  Still, many players in the west are eagerly waiting for Bless Online. Aeria Games has recently shot down the rumor regarding the NA/EU version being cancelled. Yesterday, the latest Black Desert update includes the pre-load of Margoria expansion, and today, the official release date of Margoria expansion was announced - January 25. 

The already-huge BDO world will be further expanded with the open of the vast and dangerous ocean and naval content. The upcoming expansion will also introduce underwater monster hunting, guild-vs-guild naval combat, ship construction, more than 100 new quest, and more. Blizzard dropped a ban hammer on a large gang of Overwatch players from South Korea. By large gang we mean more than 10,000 players, most of whom were banned for using a cheating tool called "nuking". "Nuking" refers to Korean players who hit the enemy team with a localized DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack, flooding their internet connections with junk data. By doing this the cheating team wins after the targeted team loses their internet connection.



It's just the beginning, as Blizzard stated that they are preparing countermeasures to fight "nuking". Before Blizzard implements a new anti-cheating system, "nuking" may not stop in South Korea, according to Venturebeat. Because many Korean players play games in internet cafes, they don't have to buy Overwatch to play at home, and instead, they spend $1 for an hour of Overwatch gaming time in internet cafes. That means cheating isn't expensive and getting banned doesn't cost Overwatch cheaters too much in South Korea.

In Team Deathmatch, players must vaporize as many of the enemy pirates as they can to claim victory.
 


The biggest new feature being introduced during the closed beta is the ability to create squads. Gamers can now invite their friends to create their own team of space pirates and raid the worlds of BATTLECREW™ Space Pirates together! They will also be able to partake in the 2 vs 2 Team Deathmatch mode which will be available exclusively during the closed beta. Once the game arrives in Steam Early Access, Team Deathmatch won’t be available until it’s added later on as a free update.  
 


Ahead of the Early Access Launch on Steam at the end of January 2017, Players will be able to join the cbt by signing up at the official page. Players are encouraged to visit the Official BATTLECREW™ Space Pirates Forums and leave their closed beta feedback and report any bugs they may encounter. 

   

Introducing “Ignite the Flames”, Legacy of Discord’s latest update (1.6.0) and the first new content for 2017! Developer GTarcade is bringing new sets of Character Fashion and Wrathwings for all LoD players this January. Plus with the recent launch of the Multilingual version, this update also brings numerous game optimizations and bug fixes.

Update Content:

• New Fashion: Prismatic Sage, Dark Nemesis, Flame Archon
• New Wrathwing: Hellbat
• Twilight Set: Two more set pieces have been unlocked (Twilight Leggings and Armor)
• Resource Dungeon: Added difficulty for lvl 75, lvl 80 and lvl 85
• Optimization of the Multilingual version for Russian, German, French, Portuguese, and Spanish

Aurora is a land inhabited by all sorts of strange and powerful creatures. One in particular, the  Hellbat, is especially infamous. Originally from depths of the Infernal Hells, these monstrosities were brought to Aurora by the invading demons… After this update, 4 out of the 8 pieces of the Twilight Set will be unlocked! LoD players are now another step closer to unlocking the ultimate Twilight Set that can absorb the radiance from others. Additionally, to provide more challenges for the increasing number of advanced players, new difficulties have been added to Resource Dungeon.

Multilingual Version and Open Beta Test
Since the release of the Multilingual  version, thousands of players have joined testing efforts for German, French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese languages. With the help of these valiant testers, the developers were able to make many localization optimzations in a very short amount of time. To thank the wonderful international fans, more languages have been added to the developer’s agenda. Support for Arabic, Turkish, Italian, Indonesian, and Thai is on the way. The LoD team is also looking for more volunteers on LoD’s Facebook fan pageto join the testing.

The Titans have joined the fray. Dragon Blaze’s latest update has included the formidable Titans to aid players. Titans are the newest category of allies that players can deify using certain material heroes. Accompanying the Titans are a new type of essence called Titan essence.
 
Striking Atlas: The seemingly simple and exuberant young girl Atlas is actually one of the most powerful Titans. Her power is so great that when her golden fists sparkle, the number of stars in the sky rise. Her normal attack removes one enemy buff.

• Nuclear Punch – Atlas’s powerful punch is her signature. Deals 3861% damage on 1 enemy (excluding Dragon Busters) with a 100% chance and launches them out of battle for 30 sec. If the battle ends before the enemy returns, the enemy is considered dead.
• I’m Mad! – Atlas seethes with anger and loses self-control. Increase’s Atlas’s ATK by 11%, CRIT damage by 87, and armor penetration by 89 for 12 seconds.
• You Can’t Lay a Finger on Me! – Atlas casts a buff that allows her to evade all attacks for 11 seconds and increases attack speed by 192% and fixed damage by 101%. She cannot evade skills which have a 100% chance to hit.

Priestess of Light, Thetis: Thetis blesses her allies by accessing the power of holy prayer. By revering light, Thetis can change curse and life in order to manipulate the wickedness from enemies. Her normal attack heals an ally’s HP.

• Sacred Pall – Her faith in the holy changes malevolence aimed at her allies into goodwill. Grants a buff to all allies that changes damage received into heals for 5.8 seconds.
• Protective Instinct – Thetis’s cute presence causes her allies to become naturally protective of her. Increases all party member’s ATK by 60%, ATK speed by 36% and STA by 22% for 15.5 seconds.
• Blessing of Light – Casts a buff to one party member that can reflect all debuffs for six seconds.

Titan Essence: The update includes the all-new Titan essence, which can be used to deify Titan allies. Titan essences can be gathered in Chapter 4 story maps as well as purchased in the shop. Users can also select Titan essences when receiving essence select rewards. Both Hero and Light essences cannot be obtained in Chapter 4 maps.

The Nintendo conference on the Nintendo Switch, as we had figured, was the opportunity to gather more precise information about the machine, starting with the price and release date.
  And it is now official, the worldwide release of the Nintendo Switch is set for March 3, 2017. It will cost 29,980 yen, or $299.99, and while no European prize has been released, although we can estimate a cost of €299.99.

The Switch will have a battery life varying between 2hrs 30mins and 6hrs, depending on the game played, as well as an online service that will be free on release, and paid starting Fall 2017. There were also mentions of cross features between the Nintendo Switch and Smartphones, although not much information has been released about that.

Gravity, the Korean game developer behind Ragnarok Online, has just licensed Electronics Extreme, an online entertainment service provider from Thailand, to publish Ragnarok Online in Southeast Asia (Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia). According to Korean sources, the deal is expected to be around 1 billion Korean Won (around $1 million).

This is not the first time when the two companies work together. Back in April 2016, Electronics Extreme reached an agreement with Gravity to take over the publishing right of the Thailand server of Ragnarok Online from Asia Soft.

Launched in Philippine in 2003, Ragnarok Online stopped its service in March 2015, and its players were guided to join the international version of Ragnarok Online. In 2004, Ragnarok Online was launched in Singapore and Malaysia. Because it was not making enough profit, the Singapore/Malaysian publisher Gameflier didn't renew its contract with Gravity, and shut down the RO server in 2016. Let's hope that Electronics Extreme, a young company, will be able to rebuild the RO community in Southeast Asia.

Licensed by SNK, Hong Kong publisher Game Dreamer has released mobile MMORPG Areal in Asia for iOS and Android system. The game features iconic characters from SNK's IPs such as The King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown. The game also invites famous voice actors/actresses of Naruto anime series to the develop the game.



Pet system is a core gameplay system in the game. Pets have stats which rank them in 4 tiers: S, A, B, C. Besides, pets have 3 fixed talent skills, which are unlocked as pets progress. Pets can also learn other special skills, and can equip whatever special skills that fit the combat style. 

Japanese adult game developer Illusion just released a new VR Kanojo gameplay trailer titled “cloth change”. In the video you can see a wide variety of cloths in the room players can choose for their “kanojo”. The video also shows some activities the virtual kanojo can do in the game including playing a maid and doing exercise.
 

 
VR Kanojo will be launched worldwide on February 28. The game will be released on Steam in the future but some sensitive content could be removed.

Sandbox MMORPG The Repopulation has a new owner, as the original developer Above and Beyond Technologies has announced that they’ve sold the game to Idea Fabrik PLC, who will bring The Repopulation back online in Q1 2017.
 

Players data of the old version will be kept and carried to the new version. “Our first goal is to re-open game servers to the payers, and to begin the optimization and bug fixing as we continue to welcome feedback from players. Working alongside Above and Beyond Technologies the last few months we have gathered a lot of valuable information, however we will be looking to the community to help us spot areas they are looking for improvements in,” says Sarrene Grant, COO of Idea Fabrik Studios.
 
The Repopulation development suspended in December 2015, so did the alpha server. If you don’t know, the game server and account data was hosted by Idea Fabrik and they were facing difficult issues that prevented them from supporting the game at that time.

It all started when the Western Bless Online website went down. 

Then a "rumor" spread to the gaming community that Aeria Games will no longer be the Publisher for the Western release of Bless Online.

The fire of despair came ravaging into the hearts of those players who are eagerly waiting for Bless Online Western Landfall... While disappointed players lurk in confusion, Aeria Games went silent regarding this issue. Putting more strength to the "rumor" that Aeria Games "might" no longer be the Publisher... Until...

The "rumor" was shot down by both Bless Source and Aeria Games itself by explaining that the website is down due to changes in the web portal and will come back soon, also the new combat system is in fact "almost done".
