Behaviour Digital has launched Warhammer 40000: Eternal Crusade free version. You can get the game for free now on Steam or the official site. When the developer announced the free-to-play transition a few weeks ago they planned to allow free players to play the Orks only. Now this restriction has been removed and there will be free update and expansions as the developer wants to reach a broaden audience.

It's worth mentioning that Free Accounts can play 4 of the 5 classes although they can access to all of the 4 factions. You can see the differences between the different versions below.

Free Version – 4 of the 5 available classes, normal character progression. Purchasing a total of 20,000 in game credits will also upgrade your account. Your extra progression will be unleashed when you upgrade.

Squadron Edition– Full game with 20,000 Rogue Trader Credits. Also upgrades the Free version. Progression is 3 times faster.

Imperium Edition– Full game with 20,000 Rogue Trader Credits and 4 packs of weapons and armour (one pack for each faction). Progression is 3 times faster.

Kingdom: New Lands: Pixel Art at It's Finest

North America's AppStore Indy Game two week cycle is winding down. In these two weeks some noteable and not so notable games have been released. One of the more notable games to come out, and it was quite sudden, was Kingdom: New Lands, for the iOS. It's retail value is $10.00 and it is worth every penny in my opinion. RawFury, the Developers behind this game, have said that all you have to do is to enjoy the art and atmosphere this game has to offer. That though, is not all. You are tasked with rebuilding civilization and gaining trust with your people. the more you build, the more you grow. From cutting down trees, to upgrading barriers to training archers to hunt and fight. This game is more of a lovely mangagement sim than anything else.

What are you fighting against? It seems like at the end of each level, you are fighting against interdimentional beings, that are poised to stop you each night. recruiting villagers and archers will help you defend your kingdom and crown. if they do get you, they take your crown and you are no longer king. Once that happens, the game resets.

I hope you get a chance to play Kingdom: New Lands. developed by Western Developers for a mass market around the world, This game I personally feel is the next best simulator for your phone. So jump in, Rebuild your kingdom and Fight for your Land!

Faeria Review, A F2P Card Game With Undeniable Potential

$

In 2013, Faeria reaped almost $100,000 in support from Kickstarter; at the time, the card game had even become one of the most funded Belgian games on the American platform (even still quite on the low side compared to the Larian studios and their Divinity: Original Sin). Nearly four years later and a few days after its official free-to-play arrival on Steam under the regime, it's time to discover what this Strategy Card Game has under the hood.

An Outstanding Outsider

So here is a new outsider in the ultra-competitive niche of the video card game. It is a real race behind the monstrous Hearthstone that has been going on for three years now; each studio trying to find an original mechanism capable of justifying the existence of an alternative to Blizzard’s titan. Even Hi-Rez is getting into it, with Smite Tactics currently in Alpha.

>> CLICK HERE FOR Smite Tactics Alpha Impressions

Well thought out, Faeria seems to be a tone above all his competitors, not only because of its depth, but also because it excels at the level of realization (graphics, ergonomics). If these aspects might seem minor in a card game, we have seen with Hearthstone that they can play a leading role. Conversely, the very austere realization of the Magic series of games (Duels of the Planeswalkers) undoubtedly slowed down its success despite a system that proved its quality for more than 20 years. The creators of Faeria thus cared for the container as much as the content. The game takes of well from the the prologue (s), explaining patiently, and mission after mission, the great rules that govern the victory, all with a very nice rendering on the screen.

Between Board Game and Card Game

Faeria is a mixture of traditional card game and strategy game on an interactive game board. Each game board is cut in tiles - empty at the start - which must be filled with lands during the game. It is up to you to lay land on these tiles to allow your creatures to be invoked and then to advance on the ground. There are also several types of terrain (mounting, forest, lake, etc.); putting it simply, each type of terrain represents a category of monsters. Blue monsters can only be summoned on a lake terrain that you own, while green monsters require a forest terrain. To add more depth to the gameplay, spells, as well as monsters, of a certain element, require you to have a set number of the specific terrain before being used. Tiki, for example, is a green monster with 1/1 (attack / health) that gives +2/+2 to any monster you own, requires you to have two forest tiles on the map before being useable. Some might even require you to have tiles of different elements, which allows for a huge number of strategies and deck builds.

On the game board, there are two other factors to consider: your opponent materialized by a hero-fortress placed opposite of your own, and mana wells. Posting a unit on a tile adjacent to a mana tile will, as you can imagine, produce one extra mana for you each turn.

And while we are at it, let us stay on the notions of mana. In addition to the mana sources just discussed, each player gains three mana per turn, which they are free to spend or not on cards that cost 0 mana to 24 mana (or more, this is the highest cost I’ve seen so far). Should you choose not to use any mana, they will add up to the amount you receive on the next turn (if you did not use your 3 mana during a turn, you will have a total of 6 the next one, not counting the mana gathered from wells). While I do not know if there is a limit yet, I’ve held as many as 27 mana at some point. Tactically, it means you can play very aggressively by casting low-cost creatures and spells every turn, or decide to wait one, two, or sometimes three turns, before you can summon a real beast.

Concerning the card aspect, Faeria is very classic. Each creature has an invocation cost, an attack value and an endurance (health) value. They can also have one or more abilities (taunting enemies, having the ability to jump over another creature on the board, attack right after being summoned, take no damage from the first attack, etc.). Most creatures cannot move attack on the turn they are summoned, and can only be summoned on the tiles you owned. On the second turn each creature can move one space and attack. In addition to invocations, you will have spells and structures that work like magic enchantments, with triggered effects whenever certain conditions are met. The forge, for example, takes one tile and gives a random monster you own +1 attack at every start of your turn. Each deck contains 30 cards, and you are able to have a maximum of 3 of the same card in a deck. Unfortunately, as common with this kind of game, an amount of grind will be required to obtain the cards you want, either through card packs, or card crafting.

Finally, there are currently 3 (technically 5) game modes. Solo mode, basically a player vs AI mode meant for players to practice, Battle mode, which comprises Casual and Ranked PvP, and Pandora. If in the Solo and Battle you will be using the cards you own, in Pandora you will be creating decks with cards supplied by the game to take part in a mode much like Hearthstone's Arena. Players will keep battling in Pandora until they've either reached 9 wins, or 3 losses. At this point, they will reveive rewards according to how many wins they got. This mode comprises the Practice Run and the Pandora Run.

Conclusion

From this first grip came a convincing impression that Faeria is a game with certain potential, easy to take in hand but difficult to control. The features and game modes will gradually unfold as you level up. The factor of luck is also quite small here. The better player will almost certainly always win. Knowing when to attack, when to defend, or even where to create your tiles are but a few of the player’s decisions that will influence the result of a match.

Ragnarok Mobile is the best spin off of Ragnarok Online game. Currently, the game is still in its Chinese version but that does not prevent anyone from having fun with the game especially for Ragnarok Online fans. Please take note that the game is in Chinese Language and the server is in China. With the joint efforts of players all over the world, anyone can easily play and enjoy the game without worrying about the language barrier. A very healthy english speaking community is already established and even occupy multiple channels. I highly suggest to anyone who wants to play, learn and enjoy this game that please join the Ragnarok Mobile Discord channel.

This guide will be dedicated to High Wizard class and will tackle as much information as I can about the class.
~CLASS INTRODUCTION~
Mage class deal with elementary elements without the Earth element. Wizard Class deal with AoE elements with only 1 Earth element. High Wizard class on the other hand have more Earth element and in fact the class which further amplifies the capabilities of the existing elemental skills. High Wizard class is the epitome of Elemental Destruction. Having a High Wizard in a party is essential in terms of control, damage and tactics.

Please take note that the skill rotation of this build is NOT limited only by the mentioned sets.

ICE DRAGON BUILD: if we have a Fire Dragon, why can't we have an Ice Dragon?! This build focuses on keeping your enemies frozen and kill them before they thaw. Set 2:(AoE): Frost Nova + Lord of Vermillion (AoE)
Set 3: TANK SET: Always cast this set whenever you can! Energy Coat + Protective Circle

As you can see, the main difference between Fire and Ice dragon is their chosen affiliated elements. Fire being Fire + Earth with stone curse being able to change the enemy elemental property to Earth causing Fire Element skills to deal damage....While Ice being Water and Lightning with Frost Driver/StormGust/Frost Nova freezing enemy/enemies turning their element to Water thus making wind/thunder element skills cause more damage.

Fire Dragon Build have the upper hand in causing more damage HOWEVER even though Ice Dragon Build have a little lower damage output, it is compensated by the high survivability of this build due to the existence of Energy Coat and Protective Circle.

Please take note that a Magi will always be happy with a Priest. So please, do yourself a favor and get into an intimate relationship with a Priest! or do the easy way and make a heal slave! lelz

~Poor Man's Closet~

You might wonder what a poor man like me have in my closet. Well ofc, cheap equipment’s!

Top Head: Nurse Cap 护士帽
Active Stats: DEF+5, INT+2
Permanent Bonus Stats when crafted: MaxHp+23

Mid Head Gear: None

Lower Head Gear: Medical Mask
口罩
Active Stats:Resistance to Silence status +10%
Permanent Bonus Stats when crafted: MATK+3

Many have asked me, Why not High Wizard Hat? well, High Wizard hat
魔法师帽 provides Def+5, INT+2 and MaxSP+150...but with a price difference of a couple of million zeny! So Nurse Cap might not look as flashy as a High Wizard Hat but still a very reasonable replacement.

Weapon: Sailor Mars Wand (not real name lolz!) 红十字杖
MATK+144, INT+5, SP recovery speed+30% , Heal and Sanctuary healing effect increase 4% for every refinement. Combo set: 永恒戒指(Orc Lord drop) + 红十字杖:MATK+15%, if the refinement level of 红十字杖 is above +10, SP recovery + 10%(NYI)

Off Hand: Izlude Book 魔力书籍
Ignores 15% MDEF

Armor: AntiCancel 奥尔里昂的制服
Increase Variable casting time by 20%. Makes your casting uninterruptible.
This is the main reason why my character is able to do what it can do!

Cape: DamageReduction 背德皇帝的斗篷
Reduce damage from Neutral property attacks by 9%

Boots: GeffenSPReven Boots 长靴
Movement speed +5% , SP recovery +3

Accessories: Geffen NPC Rings lolz
Magic Damage +5
Do not under estimate this ring. At level 68 enhancement it adds +27.2 magic damage on top of +5, a total of 32.2 Magic Damage and X2 thats a total of 64.4 Magic Damage. Its like having 1 of those high end millions of zeny worth rings.

I suggest that you first invest on the uninterruptable armor as it will surely help you in farming exp and items. Then focus on getting a nice weapon.

I had decided that after I showed you Kingdom: New Lands, that I should bundle up the rest of the games into one article. So here we go. The Second game that was released on the Indy AppStore Celebration is:

Euclidean Lands

A Game that may blow your mind, it consists of moving a single character on a Rubix Cube of sorts, that as you progress, it gets progressively harder and harder. As each cube spins around, your character is tasked with getting the upper hand on enemies in oder to complete the levels.

I've added some gameplay above. Please check it out in order to get an idea of how this amazing game plays.

Ticket To Earth
Imagine a Match Three Puzzler but done in a way that is a real time battle system where you have to take control of the level by matching the colored tiles, and using those buffs to combat against your enemies. Long story short, this is a new take on the Match Three genre and i urge you to play it. It's truely a lovely game.

I've uploaded some gameplay here just to show you how amazing yet hard this game is.

Pavilion
I
magine A game where you don't control the main character. You instead, control the environment, spuring the the main character onward toward his goal. It's a great concept and in practice, the look of the game's art is incredibly stunning. Consider it a point and touch adventure on your phone and you'll be forgiven if you don't know what to do, because that's part of the fun. Just remember, the bells are like directional arrows and the lights tell him where not to go.

Mushroom 11

A platformer where death is inevitable and your life only pushes you foward. There's something primal about Mushroom 11. whether it's the fact that you are a fungus eating and killing everything in your path, or the fact that you have to die to grow and move foward. the idea here is to survive, and what an idea that is.

Here's some gameplay provided to show you exactly how it plays. This is the entirety of level one.

Oxenfree

More of an experience than anything, three kids, intent on making mischeif and just a bit of mayhem stumble across something odd. I don't want to spoil anything but I am glad to say that this game is really well done and is admired by a lot of people in the PC gaming comunity. If you get a chance, this game is a great point and press adventure.

I've uploaded the first 10 minutes to whet your appetite but there are no spoilers as this is the begining of the game

Folks, that is NOT it. I will be back with more Indy Game releases and more information that I will readily have for you awesome 2P followers. Thank you so much and as always, please leave a comment below, telling me what you think.

Path of Exile Has the First Level 100 Player in Hardcore Solo Mode

Path of Exile player SteelmageSSF wrote the history in the game as he's (officially) the first person that managed to reach level 100 in SSF LHC, a hardcore legacy league that only allows solo play.

It took him 7 days, 21 hours and 50 minutes to achieve it. If you die in this mode your character will be removed out from this league, so Steelmage only farmed on relatively safe spots and maps to minimize the risk. You can see the discussion at this Reddit post to learn more details.

Revelation Online Already Stirred up Pay-to-Win Controversy

Only a few days after Revelation Online entered the Open Beta, players are already complaining about the P2W tactics. On game's forum, a thread accused the Crusader Treasure Maps of incorporating P2W tactics into the game. In other words, players can buy treasure maps from the in-game store for $5 and obtain the Tier 6 PvP stones, while other players can only get Tier 4 stones."This just made all progress in the game so far worthless and all progress that can be made in the game for the next few months worthless in the face of swiping a trivial amount,' a player pointed out.

Although players can obtain
the treasure maps in the game through the Ninefold Assault, they can only do it one time per week since it's a weekly in-game event. Players pointed out that didn't "sweeten" the situation because there's no limit on how many maps you can purchase from the store.

Destiny Child (KR) First Look - Astounding and Beautiful Card Game

$

Hey guys, Destiny Child has officially been made available on the South Korean Google play store and iOS. The game had been much awaited in the market and it has been able to meet the general expectations. Here is a quick review of the game which will take you through the basic features of the game while also focusing on the intricate details.

INTRODUCTION.

Destiny child is an entertaining and challenging game for all the right reasons. The game brings together two different genres of gaming and does a brilliant job of blending them artistically. The game features a blend of a brilliant CCG (Collectible card game) and RPG genres. This is one of the standout features of the game. Here’s a quick look at the gameplay trailer of the game.

GRAPHICS.

Yet another standout feature of the game is the graphics which have been used. If you have observed from the trailer or from the gameplay you will notice that the characters and every other aspect of the game are beautifully designed and look life like. Even though the game deceptively looks a lot like a 3D game, it is in reality nothing more than a game set up in a 2 Dimensional environment. This is because of the live 2D feature which has been crafted into the game; this literally almost makes the game looks like it’s been created in a 3D format. Quite cool isn’t it? The Live 2D feature can also easily be switched off in the setting of the game. Coming to the details, a lot of attention has been given in order to give the best possible gaming experience to the players. The colour mixing when it comes to the attack and card playing moves is on the spot. In summary, the game is quite appealing to the eye and is most definitely a factor which makes the game fun to play.

CONTROLS

As mentioned earlier, Destiny Child is a game which is essentially a Collectible card game. This means that you play by using the cards which you have with you. The controls to the game are quite basic. The options to use and release the cards are place on the bottom of the screen. This is in fact, the only area where the controls of the game are located. Players can select their collected cards from the list that appears here. In addition to this, whenever the required skill bar fills up the players can use the skill move by swiping down the card. This can be easily figured out as the skill bar fills up for each card at different times. Thus, when a particular card has the necessary requirements and the ability to perform a special attack then that option will be placed slightly above the card itself. These are the basic control elements of the game. It’s that simple actually; just pick and use.

TUTORIALS

Destiny Child features an in depth tutorial on almost all aspects of the game. Not only does the game guide you through how to play and use each card strategically but it also gives you in game tips. The tutorial guides you through the basics initially. After this, it focuses more on the intricate aspects off the game such as attacking options, special attacks etc. It also takes you through various other features of the game such as character selection, customization and weapons modification. In addition to this, the guide helps you get better equipped with the setting of the game like the 2D live feature etc. In fact, the tutorial that destiny child offers is perhaps one of the most detailed and comfortable ones that I have ever come across on any game. Since the game is still released only in the Korean version, the tutorial can be very helpful to those for whom the language is a barrier.

CHARACTERS.

The characters that are offered inn Destiny Child are just simply astounding and beautiful. Every single character has been so beautifully designed and can perform various complicated gestures etc. Each and every single character in the game has its own speciality and use when it comes to the combat. The characters are extremely lifelike and this makes the game more interesting. There are over hundred plus characters offered in the game which can be used. The special moves of each character is differently designed and is very interesting.

PLAYING THE GAME.

The first requirement in order to play the game is that the players need to set up a Kakao account and sign in to it. This will help save your progress even if you wish to play the game on another mobile device. The game essentially requires you to strategically deploy and use your cards in order to win a match. Though the difficulty is initially low, it gradually increases to a substantial amount. The essence to winning a match is to use the right cards and time the way the cards are used. Each card has a certain cool down time after it has been used once, only once the cool down period has been completed can that card be used again. Therefore, it is quintessential to make sure that you don’t use up all your cards at once and that you always have at-least one card in your reserve to launch a counter attack. You can select up-to five cards at a time in order to play a match.

A match can be played with even lesser cards but five is the maximum that can be used. You can create upto two decks consisting of five cards each. If players find it too difficult to play the game or if they are going to crash out then the game has an in built auto play feature which can easily be turned on/off while in combat. The option to this has been made available on the top of the screen while the player is in combat. Each match will have a set of three phases, the first phase being the easiest of them all. The final phases each match will involve a boss fight.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

 SPECIFICATIONSANDROIDIOS
VERSION4.4 and above.iOS 6.
RAM1 GB RAM1 GB RAM
STORAGE Less than 1 GBLess than 1 GB
Though the game will run smoothly even on a 1 GB RAM mobile device, the game will have to be restarted if minimized. This is only due to the limited RAM available and is not an issue with the game

VERDICT: Considering the overall features of the game, it can be given a good rating of 8/10.

The Elder Scrolls Legends Review: A Good Title That Lacks Originality

$

Card games are definitely trending as of late, between indie titles like Faeria, or Krosmaga, and others based on strong licenses, such as Smite Tactics or Runescape Legends. Despite their qualities, these games did not manage to worry Blizzard's juggernaut (although Faeria is a pretty good outsider, and Smite Tactics is still being developed), and it is now Bethesda's turn to try and get a foothold in the arena with The Elder Scrolls: Legends. However, while it is based on their most famous license, this one is not developed by the Bethesda studio itself, but by a small company named Dire Wolf Digital.

Related: Faeria Review, A F2P Card Game With Undeniable Potential

My first steps in this free-to-play were guided by a mandatory and particularly interesting (albeit quite long) tutorial to introduce beginners to the TCG. The different types of cards, the special skills of certain monsters, support cards, prophecy cards, all the basics of the genre are explained in a very didactic way to avoid leaving beginners in the dark. To accompany us in this apprenticeship, the title introduces us to its story directly based on the lore of the series.

To make it short, an evil character named Naarifin plans to release a demonic creature named Daedra. To prevent it, you will have to go to a tower and fight all the enemies that will stand on your way. Through your victories, you will earn various basic cards and decks. Strong point, the adventure that is proposed to us is consistent with dozens of matches, and reinforced by somewhat beautiful cinematics.

This solo mode offers a nice entry to understand the mechanics of The Elder Scrolls: Legends. But if you are familiar with titles like Magic or Hearthstone, you already know the basics since this title does not really play the card of innovation . If it was the originality that seemed to have guided some of the competing productions mentioned earlier, The Elder Scrolls: Legends remains on the very traditional path and doesn’t seem to offer anything truly different from Hearthstone. All the classic rules are present: players have to drop the life points of their opponents to zero, using spell cards and monsters cards with various known traits (charge, guard, protection, effect upon invocation, effect upon death...) .

The true difference of this title is to be sought in the concept of the board, or ought we to say, the boards. The game table is indeed composed of two distinct and non-communicating corridors. Should you decide to summon a creature in the right corridor, it cannot attack enemies in the left one and vice versa. A mechanism that requires a little adaptation time and changes the way you strategize the "Board Control". To push the concept a little further, the developers made sure that the two corridors were very different. On the right-hand side, for example, the creatures summoned possess a camouflage ability (cannot be attacked by enemies the turn after being summoned), while the other remains completely classical.

But apart from this interesting mechanic, The Elder Scrolls: Legends remains unfortunately too classical and close to the other major productions in the genre. From the gameplay point of view, the game works well, but does not have any strong enough argument to get you to abandon Hearthstone. In terms of balancing, the whole game seemed quite correct, especially thanks to a luck factor that is perhaps a little less present than in other games of the genre.

Let us now discuss the different modes of the game. Like any self-respecting card game, The Elder Scrolls Legends offers, in addition to its solo adventure, a PvP mode. Whether it is ranked or casual, this one allows you to select a deck before confronting real players in the hope of completing your daily quests and grabbing some gold coins. And just like in Hearthstone, there is an arena where you can try to accumulate as many wins as possible (up to 10) before losing three matches, in hopes of obtaining great rewards.

Unsurprisingly, they allow you to buy card packs in the in-game shop. Players that wish to progress at the normal (slow) rate can simply buy packs with the gold they obtain from quests and such. For those that are in a hurry to build the perfect deck, note that it's obviously possible to buy the precious packs, with the possibilities being multiple and the cost of packs decreasing the more you buy at a time. Nothing very surprising, nothing wrong. Let us mention. however, the presence of a "Special offers" menu providing special bundles and including, for some, exclusive cards. Yes, some cards are, a priori, only available for purchase with real money and that is not very fair .

Conclusion

For a card game, its realization is very good. Graphically, The Elder Scrolls: Legends has a detailed UI and successful effects. It is therefore regrettable to see that the concept that is proposed to us feels, and is, far too traditional. With its solid gameplay, The Elder Scrolls: Legends could have attracted many fans of card games. "Could have", since the title reaches us too late, at a time when the mastodon Hearthstone has already imposed itself with a similar recipe. In this context, Bethesda and Dire Wolf offer us a correct title, well balanced and enjoying graphics that are finer than those of the competition, but that does not bring much change to the world of card games.

Rend: Will It Succeed by Combining MMORPG, MOBA, and Survival Elements Together?

$
0
0

Frostkeep Studios' upcoming hybrid game Rend is unlike other games because the game tries to incorporate MMORPG, MOBA and survival gameplay elements together. Rend is definitely not an MMO for it has less than 100 players in each server (about 20 players each faction), and it's bigger than MOBA. 3 faction's players will race against each other to gather lost souls of Rend, where PvE as well as PvP skirmish will take place.

The survival experience lies in the facts that day/night cycle, weather, and temperature will affect the gameplay. And there is castle building and defense, as each week there will be a server-wide PvP event to let you experience the scale of PvP you can expect from MMOs. The goal is to destroy enemy faction's base and Soul Stone, or protect your faction's from being destroyed. The world will reset after a winning faction is declared, and similar to MOBA, players leave the match with their rewards whether it's items or EXP, and prepare for the next match.

Both MMORPG and MOBA players may like the game's talent and skill tree system. By choosing one of the 5 roles: Assassin, Survivalist, Soldier, or Mystic, you can customize your talent and furthermore, your skills by participating in certain activities. Harvesting, crafting, weaponry, hunting, magic, armor, exploring unforgiving areas of the game and doing all kinds of things in the game will allow you to carve out a unique character.

Rend has some ambitions, and the game is developed by ex-Blizzard, Riot Games and Carbine Studios developers. So tell us what you think of the ideas of the game and do you think the game would succeed?

This guide will be dedicated to Assassin Cross class and will tackle as much information as I can about the class.

~CLASS INTRODUCTION~
Both thief and Assassin class offers a lot of build choices between Dagger and Katar type weapons, however this will dramatically change as you hit Assassin Cross. Although dagger build won't be that prevalent, Assassin Cross does open a fresh new build that can deal massive amount of damage in a very short time. This class will focus more on strengthening the already existing game and provides 3 new deadly skills that can be used by different builds. Tactics and Strategy with Hide skill will be dominant and you will surely enjoy this class in both PvE and PvP whatever build you choose. In short, it is a "Deadly Troll Class".

Let's begin!

~ASSASSIN CROSS CHANGE JOB GUIDE~
You will be able to start the Assassin Cross change job quest once your character reach level 40 ASSASSIN JOB skill. Yes, you only need to reach lv40 Skill Level and it does NOT require a level 70 Base Level.

To Start the quest, please go to the very familiar place in Prontera where you started all of your job changed.

Please talk to the GrandNPC.

Then speak to the Assassin NPC

The Assassin NPC will ask 3 questions, please follow the answers below:

Talk to the Assassin NPC after the Q&A quest.

Afterwards, the Assassin NPC will ask you to go to Morroc Village. Please use the Prontera Kafra Teleport service.

Talk to the Assassin Cross NPC.

Then you need to go to 2nd Floor Pyramid. I suggest that you buy at least 10pcs Poison bottles, you will surely need these later.

I highly suggest that you do this alone, or you can ask a priest to buff you but please tell them not to follow you since 2nd Floor Pyramid is infested with monsters! Use Hide skill to go past through them unharmed.

You have to kill one of these mobs to get a quest item which you will need later. I highly suggest that you use poisoned kunai and venom splasher or use hide + lure + sonic blow. One of the 4 mobs have a full HP and i think that mob is the one who will drop the correct quest item.

Poisoned Kunai + Venom Splasher cause at least 5.5K Stacked damage per 0.5 seconds.

Use hide whenever you can...

Go to the marked location and activate the item/key:

Hide + Sonic Blow or Hide + Poisoned Kunai + Hide + Venom Splasher

You have to go back to the same spot probably a couple of times...Kill the same mobs and get Keys.

Once you get a key, go to the marked location but before activating it, please take note that the next monsters will be able to detect you even if you are in hide mode. So basically there Is no use in hiding this time.

The best tactics you can use in this situation is, lure them at the corner where there is no mobs around.

Once you killed the deviruchi's, go back to the mob spot

Kill the same mobs

And go to the last marked location...

Activate the item...

This time you have to kill Osiris but don't worry as this is a weakened version of the deadly boss.

I highly suggest that you lure him by using Hide+hit/any skill or Poisoned Kunai since it is a range skill.

After killing the weakened Osiris, please use a Butterfly wing or just use hide and get out of the Pyramid.

Go back to the Assassin Cross NPC

Hand out the Osiris item

And use Kafra Teleport Service and go to Prontera 12oclock. Speak with the Elder NPC

For the 2nd Set of Questions, please follow the answers below:

Speak with the Elder NPC again,

The Elder NPC should automatically teleport you on this room. Please Tap the Tome...

and enjoy the Red Carper walk

Speak with the Female Assassin NPC

CONGRATULATION! YOU ARE NOW AN ASSASSIN CROSS!

To move out of the Assassin halls, please talk to the Assassin NPC and select the option below.

~Poison Element~
Poison element is one of the most powerful element in this game. Poison attacks may cause poison status effect on your target which make it lose a certain amount of HP as long as the poison debuff is in effect. Certain skills will have a bonus damage or damage amplification once the target is under the poison debuff. Poison debuff can be cured by either using detoxify skill or using an antidote. Please check the elemental table below for more information about the table of elements, especially Poison type weakness and strength.

~ELEMENTAL TABLE~

Skills like Enchant Poison and Poisoned Kunai requires a venom/poison bottle to use/take effect. You may acquire the bottle from monster drop or purchase it from pot seller NPC (500z each).

~INGAME SUGGESTED STAT BUILD~

1st suggested Stat Build
STR 79 // AGI 99 // DEX 52
without the presence of LUCK stat, this is basically a Knife/Dagger stat build type. This build is focused on maximizing dodge but still capable of dealing high amount of damage.

2nd suggested Stat Build
STR 79 // AGI 79 // LUCK 52
with LUCK present, this stat build is more suitable to Katar weapon users. This build is focused on landing critical hits.

3rd suggested Stat Build
STR 99 // AGI 52 // DEX 79
with maxed STR, this build focuses more on damage rather than landing crits or dodge. This build is more suitable for Knife/Dagger type users.

My Suggested Builds:
The builds above lack the one specific stat which for me is not only important but also useful...and that is the VITALITY (VIT). Having any of the stat builds above makes u a paper thin target against wizards and hunters.

AGI 50-70 // DEX 30-50 // STR 50-70 // VIT Rest of the remaining stats
This build is suitable for Dagger Type users and is more of a HYBRID build which both focus on Attack Speed, Damage and Survival.

AGI 50-70 // DEX 0 // LUCK 50-70 // STR 50-70 // VIT Rest of the remaining stats
This build is suitable for Katar Type users and is more of a HYBRID build which both focus on Critical hits, Damage and Survival.

AGI 50-70 // LUCK 70-90 // VIT 70-90
Fast attack speed with certain critical and hard shell. This build is for Katar type users who wish to spend most of their time doing pvp.

Please take note that you DO NOT have to follow my builds. I highly suggest that you make your own build base on your own gameplay style. This builds may not be of help for Soul Breaker Assassin Cross builds (INT TYPE BUILD).

Soul Breaker Stats Builds
Maximum annihilation!
Max INT Max STR - Very simple build but you have to invest in high defense equipment. Hide skill will be your best friend!

Level 10 Sneak Attack

Assassin Skills:

Level 5 Hide Mastery
or other skills from Assassin or Thief skill tree

Skill Build: Poison Dagger
This is the only dagger build I can suggest as Assassin Cross skill tree is more focused on Katar Build and Soul Breaker Build (which doesn't really require any specific weapon).

Thief Skills:
Level 10 Mirror Attack
Level 10 Shadow Mastery
Level 10 Enchant Poison
Level 10 Hide or Level 5 Hide and Level 5 Sneak Attack

Assassin Skills:
Level 5 Piercing Blades
Level 10 Advance Enchant Poison
Level 10 Sonic Blow
Level 5 Sonic Mastery
Level 1 Venom Splasher
Level 1 Poisoned Kunai

Assassin Cross Skills:
Level 5 Hide Mastery
Level 10 Soul Breaker
Level 10 Meteor Assault
Level 10 Enchant Deadly Poison
Level 5 Death Strike or you can spend 5 skill points on another skill from Assassin or Thief Skill Tree

Skill Build: SOUL BREAKER
I highly suggest that you do this build once you reach at least level 10-20 Assassin Cross Skill Level. Please also use the Assassin Cross Stat build.

Thief Skills:
Level 10 Hide
Level 10 Shadow Mastery
You may spend the remaining 20 skill points on any skill you want. Doesn't really matter which but if you want to make poison as your sub, then please learn Enchant Poison level 10.

Assassin Skills:
Level 10 Katar Mastery
Level 10 Advance Enchant Poison
Level 1 Back Dash
Level 1 Venom Splasher
Level 1 Poisoned Kunai

Questions:
1: Can you use both Enchant Poison and Enchant Deadly Poison at the same time?
Answer: YES!

2: Does Assassin Aura buff affects you too?
Answer: YES!

3: Are you sure that the damage calculation on Soul Breaker skill is correct?
Answer: Honestly, NO! So please check the skill ingame and compare. if you are convinced that the calculation is wrong, I apologize, please inform me asap and send the correct calculation.

4: Soul Breaker Builds - Why choose Katar over Dagger?
Answer: Because katar have higher damage and have skills that complement the build (Katar Mastery etc). Another issue is, dagger have damage deduction base on the target size.

5: Does casting Soul Breaker cancel's hide?
Answer: NO! /GG

6: What stat weighs heavier on Soul Breaker Build?
Answer: INT. Due to the fact that the damage cause by INT do ignored def, you also need high MP and MP regen on the Soul Breaker Build as you will be spamming Soul Breaker, Sonic Blow and Meteor Assault...and ofc the hide and back dash skill.

7: How can i unlock the Assassin Cross Mask?
Answer: The mask can only be unlocked by an Assassin Cross because the only time you will be able to get and complete the quest is when you become an Assassin Cross. Once you completed the Job Change quest, please talk to the grand NPC and then he will ask you to talk to the Female Priest. The Priest NPC will open a portal where you will complete the instanced quest where you will once again kill monsters, evil mages and your nemesis Osiris. Don't worry its pretty easy especially if you hve hide skill. and after you completed the quest...

Assassin Cross Mask Unlocked!

8: Does Kyrie protects the target from Soul Breaker?
Answer: YES!
Note: Damage = 1

9: Does Magic Damage increase Soul Breaker damage?
Answer: NOPE

Leading Chinese game company NetEase Games debuts new mobile game based on Million Arthur IP. Called Rebellious Million Arthur, the new title is co-developed by NetEase and Square Enix, and it will feature real-time combat for the first time.

For those who are not familiar with the series, Million Arthur is a very popular mobile card game franchise in Asian market. The first 2 titles Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur and Kai-Ri-Sei Million Arthur were released in 2012 and 2015. The next game Rebellious Million Arthur will see big changes in the combat system including real-time combat (which is interesting for a card game).

No other gameplay information is revealed now although Chinese players can pre-register the game at the official site now. I hope this game will be released in the west in the future through NetEase Games' US subsidiary.

Blade & Soul's next expansion Secrets of the Stratus will be launched on April 12th, and it pushes the main story forward with Act 7. You can expect to explore a brand new questing area, instant level 50 character, a revamped skill system and more.

The plot of Act 7: The Search, invites you to hunt down the Hongmoon School's youngest and most valuable protege. In your adventure you can also rely on some new allies: Chol Mugo, Admiral of the Blackram South Fleet, and Ku Yang, the new Blade Master representative.

The revamped skill system removes skill points and the skill trees for each ability, and instead offers "a more intuitive and simpler solution that maintains build customization and fluidity." The image below shows how the new system looks like.

The new expansion also includes a lot of new features. You can see the details at the official site.

Summer Lesson's Life Size Figure Could Cost a Nerd Over $26,000 USD

Bandai Namco's PSVR exclusive sim Summer Lesson will get English subtitles support in 2017. The game was one of the most popular VR titles in Japan with the realistic simulation of in-game interaction with the heroine Hikari Miyamoto. Japanese nerds can expect to actually bring Miyamoto home in real world, by purchasing a life size 1:1 Miyamoto figure.

The figure is about 160CM tall and will be priced at 2,916,000 Japanese yen (8% tax included), or over $26,000 US dollars. Summer Lesson surely has established a reputation in Japan, but it's still a crazy thing to me that someone would spend 26 grand on a figure of a game that's just released 5 months ago.

There's a 1/8 figure (21CM tall) for fans to choose, and it's priced at about $85 USD. Release date of the 2 figures is to be announced.
