Titanfall Online to Start Beta in South Korea; The Cinematic Is Not Bad at All

0
0
Respawn Entertainment and Nexon will launch a closed beta test for team-based shooter Titanfall Online in South Korea later this month. Similar to games like Call of Duty Online and Need for Speed Edge, Titanfall Online is a free-to-play adapt to renowned western IP, specifically for Asian market.

>> Watch How Titanfall Online Actual Gameplay Looks Like

Titanfall Online's UI is based on the first Titanfall game, and it provides players 4 Titans: Atlas, Ogre, Stryder, and Destroyer. Gameplay focuses on team-based combat, with optimized matchmaking and new game mode. However, there's a downsize for Titanfall Online's graphics compared with Titanfall 2's.

Still, Titanfall Online gets a good cinematic trailer.

Tomorrow on August 8th, the free-to-play MOBA Paragon which is developed and published by Epic Games, is going to release it's massive update which is called "The New Dawn" aka V.42.

The update was briefly described as "The sins of the past are swept away as the people look toward the future. All things become possible."

The update includes major changes in the game, such as a new controllers layout, new way to build your hero, 100 brand new cards, new Gem system, rampage returns, universal decks and leveling up your cards by collecting duplicates.

Affinities are now tied to decks, not Heroes, so you can use your same deck with any Hero. Explore the styles of each affinity and choose what type of deck you want to build.

It also includes Iggy & Scorch upgrade plus a Mastery rework and they raised the 10 Rank cap to 99 for each hero. Also new rewards have been added to Ranks like Rival skins, Hero banners, new taunts, and crowns.

Iggy & Scorch’s ability set has changed from top to bottom, sporting new Turrets, a new attack (From Scorch!), and an ultimate that doesn’t require close combat. While Iggy is a well loved hero responsible for many great videos recently, we’re happy to finally have him in a state that realizes the dream of a turret hero.

They also decided to make a celebration sale by having a 33% off sale on skins, banners, and emotes to celebrate The New Dawn update.

You’ll keep any rewards earned from the previous system and continue with the same amount of experience. Crowns are a new cosmetic that let’s you show off your Hero level while wearing any skin!

There are much more to know about this update including events and more gameplay changes which you can check out them all by reading the Patch Notes on Paragon official site.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the second biggest subscription MMORPG and it's is still growing. It represents the player number in Japan, North America, Europe, China, and South Korea, and it includes free trial accounts. Launched on August 27, 2013, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will turn 4 years old later this month.

Lineage Eternal Engine Will Be Upgraded to Unreal Engine 4 - Report

0
0
Back in May, when NCsoft revealed the Q1 earnings, they announced that the Lineage Eternaldevelopment team was restructured because the game didn't reflect NCsoft's characteristics. The game pushed back the second closed beta indefinitely and had no update until recently.

According to insiders, NCsoft has decided to change the engine of Lineage Eternal from the in-house engine that used in Guild Wars, to Unreal Engine 4. It's a big upgrade that will greatly improve the game's graphics.
Of course that means the game has to further push back its schedule and it may skip this year's G-Star again.

In November 2011, NCsoft announced Lineage Eternal as the sequel to the first Lineage MMO, which was released in 1998. Hopefully the game can make it, as NCsoft has gradually switched their focus to mobile MMO market.

Light Tracers: New VR Puzzle Game with Fresh Experience Is Coming to the West

0
0
Oasis Games has announced that they will release Light Tracers, a puzzle platformer developed by Void Dimensions to the west for PlayStation VR this September.

In the game, you will lead a princess to the top of a Babel-like tower to save her ailing people, and to do that, players will be able to use a power of a Light Staff to guide the princess through puzzle systems.

To help the princess you will have to manipulate the world around her to get her from one point of the tower to the other.

Overview of the game by Oasis Games:
In Light Tracer, players will lead a princess to the top of an enigmatic, Babel-like tower to save her ailing people, using godlike powers and a Light Staff to guide the princess while manipulating objects to create a safe path for her.
Light Tracers combines platform-style movement and clever puzzles with unique play mechanics and delightful artwork. In the game, the player controls a mysterious godlike entity who can wield a magical Light Staff in one hand while using its other hand to interact with the game world, helping the Princess reach the safety of the tower’s pinnacle. The Light Staff guides the Princess forward while the player manipulates the world to get a better view, interacts with object triggers and moves items to turn barriers into bridges. As the player progresses, the entity’s hidden relationship with the princess is gradually revealed.

The Princess’s journey comprises eight varied chapters ranging from ice to gravity puzzles to mechanical contraptions, and each level ends with a challenging boss fight requiring strategy as well as quick reflexes. Players will guide the Princess through action-platform stages with jumping, timing and enemies—but they must also engage with mind-bending puzzles in each level. Often the solution depends not only on your intellect, but also in the way you look at things.

Key Features
  • A New Kind of VR Puzzle Platformer: Guide the Princess through platform-style challenges with jumps, enemies and precise timing requirements while manipulating the world and solving clever puzzles that depend on your point of view—literally!
  • The Powers of a God: Wield your powerful Light Staff in one hand while interacting with the world with the other to open a path upward.
  • Enchanting Graphics: A compelling, almost toy-like world comes to life as you ascend the giant tower and interact with the Princess.
  • Eight Unique Worlds: From Gravity World to Ice World to Mechanica World, each chapter offers new puzzles and challenges.
  • A View to a Thrill: Grab and spin the tower for fresh perspectives that may unveil the answer to the riddles in front of you.
  • Battle with Bosses: Each chapter ends with a unique boss fight where you must use both strategy and quick reflexes to overcome opponents like a rock giant or a sinister snowman.

Albion Online Review - Trading Graphics For Accessibility

0
0
At a time when MMOs are getting more and more beautiful graphically with hyperrealistic 3D, Sandbox Interactive placed their bet on a less ambitious style. However, it must be admitted that this choice is rather bold on their part. So, with Albion Online, we are faced with a somewhat impersonal cartoonesque style in a hack 'n’ slash view. Visually, it remains at the limit of what can be considered as correct, granted, with an artistic direction that does not shine. And apart from a few illustrations, the tone is sober and rather classical overall. But then why make this choice? For two reasons.

The first is that it is accessible from the first glance. It's simple and we adapt ourselves to the world very quickly, contrary to the immensity of the usual 3D environments that can overwhelm. The second is that this allowed the developers to propose their game both on PC and on smartphones/tablets running IOS and Android. However, it should be noted that the title is not compatible with a number of devices. So take the time to check if yours is.

Regardless, one can consider that Albion Online is a mix between Dofus and a MOBA. Indeed, we find a lot of mechanics proper to the latter genre. Whether traveling or in team play. When we see a clash between two groups of players, it isn’t unusual to compare it to a "teamfight" in League of Legends. The spell panel is another example of similarity with MOBAs.

Classic vs. Sandbox
One area where it can not please everyone is in its"Sandbox" nature, where the players are left to themselves and have to create their own adventure. If you prefer to be guided by quests and a semblance of storytelling, Albion Online may not be for you. On the other hand, if for you Sandbox means shaping your own story, then you won't be finding better anytime soon. However, if this particularity is an undeniable asset for the game to stand out, we note that the beginnings are not attractive enough for new players.

We start by creating a character with little personalization. Then, we learn the basics of harvesting wood, stone, and animal hide to eventually come to craft our own beginner gear (armor, boots, a weapon and a shield) and harvesting tools (skinning knife, axe, pickaxe, etc). You will also have a mount via a quest in the first city you encounter in the game. After that, you are completely free to do what you want, albeit with barely anything to guide and/or direct you towards your next step.

Even though the experiences are varied, Albion Online still focuses much on the PVP aspect. To launch yourself alone in the adventure is surely not the best way to appreciate the title. On the contrary, everything is done to encourage you to join a guild from your very first steps. From there, you can learn things in a user-friendly way. In any case, you will quickly find out that in a guild, access to material and gear is much easier. Indeed, there are not only gathering skills, but also a ton of crafting skills for players to level, and the best way to optimize the progression is by assigning everyone in the guild a role or two. One last thing that sets it apart from the average MMOs is the fact that it is very PVP oriented. Again, some will not like this bias. Obviously, the PVE and the trades also have a great place in the game, but the PVP remains a dominant component, there is no doubt about it. The whole is strewn with struggles between guilds that punctuate the conflicts in the world of Albion.

Engaging Content
But putting that aside for now, I will speak about the PvP in depth in another article, Albion Online also has quite a lot of great selling points that will please most of the fans of the genry. Starting by travels, which has a real importance here. Given that teleporting, to which a lot of games have accustomed us now, can be awfully expensive depending on what you are carrying, you will find yourself traveling on your mount most of the times. This makes the experience more authentic and allows, at high level, to experience the dangerous transport of precious goods, attacks of raiders, and other dangers orchestrated by unscrupulous players. Obviously the beginner zones are not concerned.

If we were talking about accessibility at the beginning of this article, the game is far from casual. In these same risky zones, the death of your character can be extremely punitive. You lose everything you have on you, currency aside. Moreover, living the life of a criminal gradually worsens your reputation and can deprive you of some useful services. Albion can be cruel, but it is also what makes it interesting.

Another appeal of Albion Online is that players are able to become anything. Indeed, you are what you wear. Here, no race or class, only equipment and mastery levels define characters. This system makes it possible to try out new and enormously varied combinations. For example, a mage may very well use thieves' boots to gain mobility or wear plate armor for defense. You may appear as a casual miner only caring about finding new ores, but fight off enemies with your oversized scythe when needed.

And while the game does greatly encourage specialization, the choice is wide and combat is not necessarily the most profitable activity. Indeed, harvesters, artisans, managers, traders, all these trades have their importance in a guild to ensure its proper functioning. Not only because the guilds can own territories and workshops in the capitals and then impose taxes on all other players, but also due to the fact that in Albion there are no NPC selling gear, or monsters selling them. Thus, everything you wear needs to be crafted, either by you or other players.

Monetization Model
Just a quick reminder that Albion Online is a "Buy to Play" game. In other words, you have to buy one of the packs of the game to play it, but gain access to it for life (or until the server closes down). There is, however, a premium subscription that gives different bonuses in regards to progression (fame rises faster, harvest bonuses, personal islands...) which quickly become indispensable, it must be confessed.

Fortunately, the system is fairly honest because you can pay for your subscription with the silver earned in the game. However, you have to invest a lot of time, and the MMO can quickly become addictive and time consuming.

It is also worth noting that the official site offers a lot of content to help you in the adventure, such as a character creation tool to observe the best builds (PVP, PVE, Mixed...), as well as some guides.

Conclusion
Albion Online offers another way to play MMORPGs. Both its accessible and old school sides give it a certain appeal. It should be kept in mind, however, that it will not necessarily please hard-core followers of the classical titles of the genre. Solo players may find it difficult to enjoy the beginnings, but the adventure is really pleasant. It is still lacking in certain areas but the Sandbox Interactive title is really interesting and worth a try.

Fortnite: Ninja Guide For Beginners

0
0
Probably my favorite class in Fortnite, I consider the Ninja to be somewhere between the Soldier and the Outlander classes in terms of usability. With a decent mastery of melee weapons (mainly swords) and Dragon SLash that is great to take out large groups of enemies bundled together, it won't be rare to find yourself with the highest damage score on your team.

As for exploration, I believe the Ninja to be far more suited to it than the Outlander (although Keen Eyes does make them the better option when looking for valuable objects) thanks to their agility as well as the extremely addictive Mantis Leap that allows them to reach some high areas without having to build stairs. I personally found myself unable to fully appreciate the other classes due to the lack of this double jump, and I’ve even received complaints about my forts being hard to travel through (by non-ninjas).

Here is the list of Ninja heroes currently available:

Common - Legendary
  • Brawler
  • Fleetfoot
  • Assassin

Rare - Legendary
  • Stonefoot
  • Skirmisher
  • Dragon
  • Dim Mak

Epic - Legendary
  • Poisoner
  • Shuriken Master

Mythic
  • Swordmaster

Brawler
True to its name, the Brawler is definitely the Ninja hero you want to take into melee fights, possessing not only active skills that can be used to deal some high damage to enemies, but also passives one that increase her damage with edge weapons.

Perks (colored green, blue or purple according to the rarity level from which they become available):
  • Shinobi: Reduces fall damage by 10%.
  • Crescent Kick: Damages and stuns enemies for 3 seconds.
  • Mantis Leap: Allows the Ninja to jump twice.
  • Kickback: Reduces the energy cost of Crescent Kick to 15.
  • Five Winds Cut: Increases damage of edged weapons by 24%.
  • Dragon Slash: Dash 2 tiles forward and damage all enemies within 0.5 tiles of your path.
  • Kicking and Screaming: Crescent Kick applies Vulnerability to enemies hit. While active, Vulnerability increases damage taken by 40% for 4 seconds.
  • Assassination: Dealing damage with sword grants one stack of Assassination for 5 seconds. Increases damage dealt with sword by 5% per stack, and stack up to 5 times.
  • Quick Kick: Reduces the cooldown of Crescent Kick to 6 seconds.
  • Smoke Bomb: Creates a smoke cloud that damages and slows enemies inside for 5 seconds.
  • Pain Mastery: While under the effect of Assassination, critical hit is increased by 3% for edged weapons.
  • Hot Foot: Crescent Kick now deals energy damage. Damage increased by 100%.

Squad Bonus:
  • Sword Critical Damage: Increases sword critical damage by 35%.

Fleetfoot
With skills that are more focused towards exploration and traveling across the map, Fleetfoot Ken remains an excellent choice for fighting husks. Best used with ranged weapons, only getting close when you have the possibility to use Dragon Slash on groups of enemies.

Perks (colored green, blue or purple according to the rarity level from which they become available):
  • Shinobi: Reduces fall damage by 10%.
  • Mantis Leap: Allows the Ninja to jump twice.
  • Fleet: Increases movement speed by 12%.
  • Dragon Slash: Dash 2 tiles forward and damage all enemies within 0.5 tiles of your path.
  • Soft Landing: Reduces fall damage by 40%.
  • Throwing Stars: Throw three stars in a straight line, damaging enemies hit.
  • Assassination: Dealing damage with sword grants one stack of Assassination for 5 seconds. Increases damage dealt with sword by 5% per stack, and stack up to 5 times.
  • Long-Sassin: Increases the duration of Assassination to 11 seconds.
  • Three Mantis Style: Reduces the energy cost of Mantis Leap by 50%.
  • Smoke Bomb: Creates a smoke cloud that damages and slows enemies inside for 5 seconds.
  • Wind And Storm: While Assassination is active, grants 3% movement speed per stack.
  • Tail of the Dragon: Dragon Slash leaves a persistent trail that slows and damages enemies twice per second for 3 seconds.

Squad Bonus:
  • Stormborne: Melee kills increase movement speed by 30% for 3 seconds.

Assassin
Excellent in melee combat, Assassin is also great for exploring the map thanks to her boosted Mantis Leap.

Perks (colored green, blue or purple according to the rarity level from which they become available):
  • Shinobi: Reduces fall damage by 10%.
  • Throwing Stars: Throw three stars in a straight line, damaging enemies hit.
  • Mantis Leap: Allows the Ninja to jump twice.
  • Easy Sword: Reduces the energy cost of sword combo attacks by 60%.
  • Praying Mantis: The Ninja’s jumps can reach higher.
  • Dragon Slash: Dash 2 tiles forward and damage all enemies within 0.5 tiles of your path.
  • Assassination: Dealing damage with sword grants one stack of Assassination for 5 seconds. Increases damage dealt with sword by 5% per stack, and stack up to 5 times.
  • Long-Sassin: Increases the duration of Assassination to 11 seconds.
  • Easier Sword: Reduces the energy cost of sword combo attacks by 80% instead of 60%.
  • Smoke Bomb: Creates a smoke cloud that damages and slows enemies inside for 5 seconds.
  • Pain Mastery: While under the effect of Assassination, critical hit is increased by 3% for edged weapons.
  • Corrosive Blade: Critical hits from edged weapons deal 30% of the hit damage over time and slows the enemy hit by for 30%.

Squad Bonus:
  • Endurance Training: Increases maximum energy by 8%.

While the Soldier and Outlander classes do have skills that are oriented towards their specific roles, the Ninja remains a great substitution for them, and can even perform better under the right circumstances.

11 Sexiest Video Game Characters in 2017 So Far

0
0
1. 2B- NieR:Automata

If let me choose the top rated female character this year, I definitely will choose 2B from NieR:Automata. Not only this game is fantastic, but also the designs of these characters are successful, especially 2B, this sexy girl just blew every players mind.

No matter her dress or her appearance, everything is perfect. Even her prater called “Nice Ass” (9S) All I want to do (maybe also all of you too) is place the camera under 2B's skirt.
Like that

And as I expected, the internet cannot stop drawing fanart of her or cosplaying her and so on.

Of course there are countless NSFW images,

2.Twintelle -ARMS

ARMS has lots of charming characters and all of them are being loved by players. But the reaction to Twintelle is out of mind.

Twintelle is a new character was revealed just about few months. And she is the only character with normal arms who has long silver curly hair and wears am extremely stylish outfit. Many people feel crazy for her because of her curve, more specifically, her hips. Everybody knows she is a bad girl and some players even call her the queen of black. YouTuber Etika sums up how people feel from his reaction video.

3.Princess Zelda -The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Princess Zelda is the titular character in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda video game series. And the princess from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild suddenly gets obsessing by lots of people because of an animation from this game. In the animation, the princess is getting down catching a frog or something, and showed how thicc she is.

The scene is only like one second but makes every player out of control. Some players even want Nintendo to make the princess wear pans from now on instead of dress. There even has a video on YouTube that zoomed and slowed every princess’s butt animation.

 4.Harley Quinn- Injustice2

Harley Quinn is the frequent accomplice and lover of the Joker, whom she met while working as a psychologist at Gotham City's Arkham Asylum, where the Joker was a patient. Her name is a play on the name "Harlequin", a character which originated in the commedia dell'arte. She has teamed up with fellow villains Catwoman and Poison Ivy, the latter frequently serving as Quinn's close friend and recurring ally. Harley Quinn has also been depicted as a member of the Suicide Squad, a team of villains who carry out secret missions.

She can be famous not only because of comic books but also because of the movie- SUICIDE SQUAD. And in the game Injustice2, she is still hot, still sexy and still bad as always.

 5.Poison Ivy- Injustice 2

Poison Ivy's real name is Pamela Lillian Isley, a Gotham City botanist obsessed with plants, ecological extinction, and environmentalism. One of the world's most notorious eco-terrorists, she uses plant toxins and mind-controlling pheromones for her criminal activities, which are usually aimed at protecting endangered species and the natural environment. Although the character's look has evolved over the years, she typically wears a green one-piece outfit adorned with leaves and has plant vines extending over her limbs. In comic book storylines, Poison Ivy has been portrayed as a love interest of Batman, and she has teamed up with fellow villains Catwoman and Harley Quinn, with Harley being her close friend and recurring ally.

Poison Ivy always has been a sexy role no matter in comics, television series, movies or games. And I’m really obsessing with her when I was a kid and watched the old batman movie; to be honestly I always want to be kissed.

 6.Aloy-Horizon Zero Dawn

Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn is also a high rate character this year. Just look at her outfit we may not connect her with the words like sexy or hot. But as a curious, determined girl who almost gathers every good personality, it’s hard to unlike her. So I think that is truly beautiful woman looks like, not just dress less and have big butt or beautiful curve.

And look at the actress of Aloy in reallife, she's so cute.

7.PeeBee -Mass Effect: Andromeda

PeeBee is a controversial character from Mass Effect: Andromeda. She gets so much negativity. But I think she is kind of adorable. And here is a video of Peebee Sex Scene.

Someone loves this but someone just feel disgusting. What do you think?

8.Anne Takamaki-Persona 5

Anne Takamaki is a playable character from Persona 5. She is a student at Shujin Academy who lives a double life as a Phantom Thief. And her outfit is so attractive. The red tight leather with Knee-high boots just makes you crazy, and her weapon, the whips, also seems imply a lot.

And here are some images of a  Korean girl RUMI's attempt on cosplaying Takamaki Ann.

You can see more here.

9.Bayonetta

Bayonetta finally comes to PC in 2017. So we can experience the over-the-top stylish action in 60fps at unlocked HD resolutions.

I really don't need to talk too much about the sexiest character in game hisotry.

10.Nina Williams from Tekken 7

Nina is notable for her blonde hair and blue eyes. Her look contrasts from that of her sister, Anna, who is a brunette.

Nina's signature color is purple, as she has at least one purple outfit per game. Her trademark costume is the "catsuit," as she has worn many different designs of catsuit in both Tekken and Death By Degrees, which are made of materials resembling spandex, PVC and leather. She wears her hair tied into a ponytail or a braid. Her skin is ivory-colored and she has an hourglass shape.

In T7 however, she wears a white wedding dress. Though the reasons unknown, the dress is presumably used for an undercover mission. It was revealed she was wearing a wedding dress as her first private assassination job was to infilitrate a Mafia wedding

11.Eliza from Tekken 7

Eliza is a gorgeous and attractive female vampire who holds an immense power to live for eternity. She is thought to be over 1000 years old but this is unclear. With the intention of taking a nap, she climbed into a coffin but inadvertently slept for 600 years. Even when she is awake, she is unable to control her sleep patterns and will suddenly fall asleep at any time.

And let's see a beautiful cosplayer Yaya Han's photo of Eliza.

Is TauCeti Unknown Origin Just Another Visually Appealing VR / Mobile Game?

0
0
Czech developer BadFly Interactive announced a new co-op FPS with RPG elements called TauCeti Unknown Origin. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and will be coming for consoles, PC, VR and mobile — quite ambitious but it also worries me.

In the game players will assume the role of the protagonist who manages to escape their crashing space ship, via escape pod to land on a strange and unknown planet called TauCeti. It provides a cooperative gameplay up to eight players and a story-mode that can either be played alone or as a group with an open world and PVE/PVP modes.

The gameplay trailer below shows a pretty world and dynamic gameplay, but there are too many indie games fail to deliver in actual game the quality promised in the promotion videos. I hope this game is not one of them. Besides, I give it a question mark about the experience of playing game in VR, since the exploration and combat parts may cause motion sickness.

Valve Announced Official Dota Card Game, Release Date Set for 2018

At today's Dota 2 International championships, the developer Valve announced a new card game based on this long-standing MOBA game. Dubbed as Artifact, the Dota card game is scheduled to launch in 2018. Dota 2 now has the highest prize pool competition, and there is no doubt that Artifact will also become a piece of Valve's eSports blueprint.

Till now, Valve hasn't revealed any detail about gameplay, but from the trailer, we can find out Artifact is a card game based on Dota 2 involving three boards and a selection of characters from Valve’s flagship game, though other details remain light. According to descriptions given by broadcaster Sean "Day9" Plott, Artifact will involve classic Dota staples like lanes, creeps, and barracks.

As a card game, comparisons to Blizzard’s Hearthstone seem inevitable. As for the performance, we have to stay patient until the game comes out.
