Nidhogg 2 Review, A True Sequel
It’s been well over three years now since Messhof released Nidhogg, a tug of war fencing game. This time, the snake from the Norse mythology makes it way on both PC and PlayStation 4 as Nidhogg 2. So let’s find out if it lives up to its predecessor.
Without being too ambitious, Nidhogg 2 can boast a richer visual performance than its older brother. Indeed, while the first used a minimalist graphic style,the second is much more polished in fantasy details and colorful decorations . The backgrounds feel more alive, teeming with details without losing the small retro effect of Messhof's independent status. The characters themselves lost the highly pixelated silhouettes look in favor of a look that would fit perfectly in the saturday morning cartoons from a couple of decades ago. But the most important thing is that the cartoonish style fits perfectly the spirit of the game, and that is a very good point. The risk ? That the pronounced bias in terms of artistic paw does not appeal to everyone.
Thankfully, the original concept of the game remains unchanged. Two players face each other with weapon in hand. The goal for the player on the right is to move to the left of the stage, and vice versa. To do this, you must butcher your opponent and be able to advance. They will respawn along they way to kill you, which then gives them the opportunity to advance. From there you have two choices, face them head-on, or jump above them and try to keep progressing past them (and risk having a weapon thrown into your back). Once at the last screen, the Nidhogg congratulates the winner by...eating him, literally. The lag, while still present, is much less invasive than for the original game. A pleasure accompanies another, since the local multiplayer is the great success of the title. The parts are linked together and the joy of skewering or crushing the face of a friend remains the same. For groups, Tournament mode is always part of the game to crown the best slayer of the band, in blood and good humor.

Clash Royale 2v2 Decks, Tips & Tricks
In the March Clash Royale update the developers added a brand-new game mode called Clan Battles or 2v2 mode. With four people playing at once it’s extremely exciting and addicting, but also pretty hard. After the entire month of July is featured 2v2, the feature is now permanent. And with that in mind here are some 2v2 decks, tips, and tricks to help you win.
Now that 2v2 is a permanent feature, most players are looking for game winning strategies to improve their gameplay. Having Several troops on one side is mayhem, and I’m sure you’ll looking for what to do and how to have synergy with your teammate to give you the best chance of winning.
The Biggest mistake I’ve seen in 2v2 is players being too aggressive, being ignorant of the fact that Elixir Regenerates 85% slower than a normal 1v1 Match in Clash Royale, along with the fact that they have a Teammate to rely on if they push too hard. That just simply isn’t the case because the normal strategies and battle fundamentals still apply to 2v2. Here is more information on the chest rewards, tips, and some crazy maybe insane Clan Battle decks that are worth trying.
For starters, the rewards from participating in 2v2 have completely changed. At first, almost everyone fully completed the challenge, often in one day. But since 2v2 is permanent now, it acts as a regular battle where you get random Chest rewards.
Let’s look at some 2v2 tips and strategies you can use.
Clash Royale 2v2 Tips & Strategy
As we all know, Clash Royale 2v2 battles are insane. Double the elixir, double the troops because four people are playing in one match. That’s why we see players trying to try to win too early in the game, leaving themselves in a poor position for the rest of the battle.
When it comes to 2v2, have a strategy when going into a match, think before you place cards, or in terms of communication use emotes like Thumbs up to signal certain attacks or when you're ready to deploy troops for a push. Having a strategy when building both decks helps you win more battles too.
- Communication is Key: This goes without saying but communication is one of the most important things to have when in a 2v2 match. Think and discuss a plan with your teammate before hitting the battle button even if you're with a random teammate, still find a way to synergize with each other.
- Drag & Drop: When in a match, it is important to use the drag and drop method for troop deployment rather than tapping so your teammate knows what you're doing. Therefore, you and your teammate can plan accordingly as to how you will win the match. Drag and Drop serves as an indicator as to what your teammate is doing and where. Use this to drop support in cases such as a placed Hog Rider by your opponent in which you need to place a Log when necessary.
- Don’t overextend: It may feel like you have tons of elixir such as in a 1v1 battle, but you don’t. Always remember in 2v2 elixir regenerates 85% slower than normal 1v1 battles. There’s just much more happening on the screen. Attack both lanes at the same time, having your opponent attack one side and you attack the other. Or make one big combined push between you and your partner towards one lane. But don’t overextend on any push unless you are near the end of overtime or at a game-winning point in the match. Cards such as Elixir Pump are good for these types of matches.
- Defense wins Battles: Most players like to overextend, which can turn out to your advantage. In the beginning of the match, just sit back and play strong defense, as soon as you see an opening and they are at low elixir quickly counterattack, especially if you used a tank to defend against your opponent. This tactic works better than ever in 2v2 battles. At the same time, at least either you or your teammate should have one defensive building.
- Furnace & Spawners: One way to keep constant pressure on the enemy are spawners like the Furnace or even the Goblin Hut and Tombstone. It works every time. From my experience, I have won a lot more when me or my teammate use at least one spawner.
- Bring a Miner: One of you should bring a Miner to war. It is so useful in doing chip-damage, taking out Elixir Pumps, or the Princess to keep the battle in your favor.
- Have a Tornado: At least one of you should add the tornado to your battle decks. When dealing with a large amount of troops, combos such as Tornado+Rocket or Tornado+Executioner are really helpful. If you wanna troll your opponent use the Tornado to drag Building-Targeting troops such as the Hog Rider to the King Tower. This is really easy in 2v2.
- Double Elixir: Even though its double elixir, take your time and stay calm, even if you lose a tower. At double elixir Clan Battles can get crazy and a big push can take a tower with ease.
- Tank Units: Fast bait decks are poplar for 1v1 but not 2v2. Same goes for the Hog Rider, its too hard to get to the tower with two people defending. But the Hog Rider will always be good for baiting out cards from your opponent whether its 2v2 or not. Its recommended that you use Golem, Graveyard, Bowlers, Royal Giant, or even Elite Barbarians as your win condition to win more battles.
Conclusion
Of course, it all comes down to how well you play, communicate, and if you have a good defense. Playing defense and earning an Elixir advantage while turning it into a strong offense is key.

Lineage 2 Revolution Guide: Skill Details for All Playable Classes

Turbine has just announced the officially licensed mobile game- Game of Thrones: Conquest kicks off pre-registrations today, and the game is scheduled to release for both iOS and Android later in 2017.
Game of Thrones: Conquest is a strategy MMO in which you can create your own House and defend it from rivals as you increase in strength and political influence. Join an Allegiance of other players as you race into PvP battles across the Seven Kingdoms.
In Game of Thrones: Conquest, there are tons of iconic Game of the Thrones features in game. Players are able to interact with those famous characters from the hit HBO series and capture seats of power such as Winterfell, Casterly Rock and King’s Landing.

Conqueror's Blade Shows Exploration in a Sandbox World
Booming Studio's upcoming warfare MMO Conqueror's Blade isn't like Dynasty Warriors or Mount and Blade in terms of combat. The game has its unique approach on how hack, slash, and shoot should feel like. With the next closed beta drawing near, the game shows more about the action, as well as the new sandbox feature.
Conqueror's Blade finds a balance between flashy combat and realistic medieval fighting. The game's producer Wang Xi compared the game's action to HBO's TV series Game of Thrones' action, which is fancy but not unrealistic.

The other characteristic separates Conqueror's Blade from other warfare MMOs is the emphasis on commanding the entire army. According to Wang Xi, "players need to change how they think and play in this game. General (your hero character) is supposed to do the jobs of observation, commands, and kill a small number of enemies, not fight in the very frontline. You have to rely on your soldiers to win instead of trying to break into enemy lines on your own.
There are 3 simple commands you can give to your soldiers: following, forming, and attacking. "You are more like the captain leading a company of soldiers. You are not deploying armies because that's RTS, and you are not fighting a 1v10 battle because that's Dynasty Warriors," Wang Xi says.

And finally, the anticipated sandbox world. It's a real 3D open world, with realistic terrains, weather, culture, and buildings, etc. You could travel along on the Silk Roads, from the east to Europe. You can even go to Himalayas. In the future there will be all kinds of encounters and conflicts in the open world. Of course the matched battle (lobby-based) still exists but players can choose whether to join a quick matched game, or to explore and fight in the open world. Matched battle is more casual while open world combat is for the glory of your clan.
You won't be able to travel unrestrictedly on the world map, according to the developer. There will be the elements of supplies and engage rules to make sure players don't attack wherever they want and whenever they want.
The game will start a new closed beta phase in China in September. The global version is expected to release in the future.

Boobs in the Western Version of Hyper Universe Got Censored
Nexon's side-scrolling MOBA Hyper Universe started Steam Early Access on August 23, and the western version of the game is apparently received an "essential" change compared with the original Korean version. Players who had tried the Korean version before noticed that the western version actually censored the boobs of the female characters.

In alpha, there was a pretty hot debate in a forum thread (which ended up being our longest forum thread for alpha) about how the females are presented in the game, 5 forum pages later a few people agreed that a compromise between super busty/skimpy and covering up might be for the best. This is what we are attempting to do. We want to keep the appeal of the female characters (and males for that matter!) while not offending anyone. We want to keep the artist’s integrity in-check, but make the game inviting to not only play, but watch as well.”

There is method to return the visuals of the female characters back to its original, through file replacement. But since it's against the official policy we don't recommend you to do that.

Tekken Mobile

Tekken Mobile is a free-to-play console-like fighting game, adding a whole bunch of new features including upgrades and special move cards. There are 20 characters with unique fighting styles in game, and in the future, the character pool will be extended to 100.
In addition, Tekken Mobile also features a single-player Story Mode and online matches so that players can contest against each other. In the Story Mode feature, you can create a team of three players in the game who will assist Kazuya Mishima against a new enemy called Revenant that has been created for the mobile game.

In War Planet Online: Global Conquest, players have to manage nation's military, recruit skilled commanders and utilize cunning strategies to strike enemies where and when they least expect it.

Home Behind
Developed by Chinese Studio Coconut Island Game, Home Behind is a roguelike role-playing game set in the time when the long brewed civil war has finally erupted. You will take on the role of a refugee whose peaceful homeland has been destroyed by a band of rebels and daughter lost in chaos. You will need to survive the struggle, famine and sickness to make it to the safety of Europe and find your lost family.
The PC version game was launched on Steam in 2016 and has received overall 88% positive reviews.

Cloud Pirate NA/EU Version to Shut Down in September 2017
Cloud Pirates, the competitive airship battle MMO game which entered Open Beta a few months ago, has surprisingly announced to shut down on September 29.
All the servers will be closed soon which is actually weird to see that the game didn't last for more than one year. And due to the closure of the game, the publisher My.com stated that the Steam downloadable content will be available for free, everything that was available for Rubies will be available for 1 Ruby, all progress becomes 50% faster and all content will be available for 1 Gold. All of that will be applied starting from today. Not just that, Allods Team, the game developer has also released 'Final Frontier', the last update will be applied to the game.

Star Wars:Jedi Challenges AR Allows You to Battle With Kylo Ren With Lightsaber
Earlier this year, Lenovo and Disney unveiled Star Wars: Jedi Challenges, an AR game that’s likely to prove extremely popular when it comes out just before Christmas. We all know that it requires hardware to play it, and today the device is available for preorder as part of Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s big Force Friday II retail push.
The whole device includes a headset called the Lenovo Mirage, the hilt of a lightsaber and a movement-tracking beacon that you put on the floor. This $199 augmented reality headset that lets you lightsaber battle with Darth Vader and lead Resistance troops into combat.
To get started, you need to download the game onto your phone(available on Android and iOS )and then you slide the phone into a tray located inside the Mirage. As you start the game, it'll offer you instructions on where to put the aforementioned beacon, which the headset's two cameras use to track your location in the room. The cameras are also used for inside-out tracking for the position of that blue-tipped lightsaber.

Tokyo's VR Zone Brings Gundam Prototype Version Into Virtual Reality
Bandai Namco has already brought many of the VR titles to VR Zone, including the surprise inclusion of Mario Kart Arcade GP VR. Recently the company announces that it will release a Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Bonds VR Prototype at its VR Zone Shinjuku game center in winter 2017. The demo will be available for a limited time.
Gundam: Battlefield Bonds VR Prototype will allow players to team up and fight against other teams in the VR arcade, and it supports a maximum 8 vs 8 battle. The game will feature a cockpit-like setup with a domed screen for players to play the game.
Bandai Namco Entertainment opened the entertainment center in Tokyo on July 14. The center has 15 activities, including VR experiences for Dragon Ball, Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell Arise, and Mario Kart.
