Heroes of the Storm gets big announcement at BlizzCon 2015 with 4 new heroes and a new game mode. Lunara, Greymane, and Cho'Gall can be unlocked in the game like other HotS heroes. Tracer is unlocked through purchasing Overwatch Origins Edition or Collector's Edition.

The Arena mode is supposed to add a lot of fun to the game, as everyone will play as the same hero against the opponent team. Check out three trailers below which were released today.

• Heroes of the Storm - BlizzCon 2015 Announcement Trailer

• Heroes of the Storm - BlizzCon 2015 Arena Preview

• Heroes of the Storm - Blizzcon 2015 Arena Announcement Trailer

New heroes will be introduced in the following pages.

Lunara is an agile ranged attacker who effortlessly bounds in and out of the fray, doling out the fury of the wilds without prejudice. Those who snap even one twig underfoot will quickly be met by a volley of twisted spears and afflicted by deadly, debilitating toxins that will make them easy prey. Once crippled by her poisons, enemies will be left with nothing from their encounter with Lunara, First Daughter of Cenarius, but a flash of hooves, the flicker of leaves, and the haunting memory of her distant laughter.

Greymane’s ability to quickly shapeshift between human and Worgen forms makes him a versatile and formidable threat in any combat situation. Whether firing from behind the lines of battle, dousing enemies in explosive Gilnean Cocktails, or pouncing fang-first into battle, the Lord of the Worgen will do what is necessary to protect all he holds dear. Those who threaten Greymane or his people would do well to fear the shadows, for they will undoubtedly meet their end at the vicious claws within.

Cho’gall will be a unique addition to Heroes of the Storm who, for the first time ever, will allow two players to team up to control one Hero. Equipped with an impressive array of dark spells, and a brutish strength that can break even the most durable opponents, Cho’gall packs a whole lot more punch than the average contender brings to the Nexus. Provided that Cho and Gall manage to use their powers as one, the two-headed ogre will crush, burn, and blast apart anything that stands in their path.

Team Unknown.xiu secure all visas for Frankfurt after major uncertainty

0
0

The manager of Peruvian Team Unknown.xiu, Carlos 'FalcoStyle' Casaverde, confirmed today that all of the players on the team have had their visas accepted for travel to the Frankfurt Major. Along with other teams' visa issues, the South American qualifiers had some issues with one of their players Alexis 'Greedy' Ventura, as he had difficulty securing his visa.

But in spite of the issues FalcoStyle wrote on his Facebook account today: "AVISO IMPORTANTE: Tengo mi visa, y los demás....., nos vamos a Alemania", which translates to "IMPORANT NOTICE: I have my visa, and the others..., we are going to Germany".

Whatever issues there were have now been resolved, allowing the very first South American team to attend an international LAN event. It is all the more special that it will be the first of the Valve Majors in DotA 2. Team Unknown's attendance is particularly impressive, as they originally signed up for the open qualifier to even be a part of the main regional qualifier in the first place.

If we look at the matches and brackets they came through, they played nearly every professional and semi-professional team in the Americas region to make it all the way to Germany. Here is Unknown's half of the open qualifier bracket:

The team then had to play through a groupstage in the main regional qualifier in order to finally make it to the double elimination playoff bracket:

Coming through the losers' bracket to face Digital Chaos, a team that had beaten them 2-0 in the groupstages earlier, was an impressive feat for Unknown.xiu, but actually managing to turn it around and 2-0 them is nothing short of exceptional for the team that has come all the way from Peru.

We look forward to seeing them in Frankfurt where they will hopefully show us some great South American DotA!
