Frontier's open world space MMORPG Elite: Dangerous has launched the first part of its Horizon expansion, implementing planetary exploration to the game. Contents of the entire expansion will be gradually deployed in 2016 but the most crucial component has been in the game. You can watch the trailer below to see the planetary gameplay.

The original game includes 400 billion star systems and with the Horizon expansion, the game allows you to land on some of these planets, harvesting resources and crafting equipment. You can expect ground vehicle combat in the expansion. Additionally, the expansion introduces in new features like multicrew, commander creation, and ship-launched fighter. Noted that the December release only contains the planetary landing feature and the rest of the gameplay content will be released in 2016.

You can purchase Elite: Dangerous: Horizon for $60.

Nexon Korea's next-gen mobile RPG, Heroes of Incredible Tales (HIT 히트) officially launches in South Korea (not global launch) on today for both iOS and Android devices on November 18. Today Nexon released a new trailer of HIT.

From the 30 seconds trailer, the first 15 seconds tells the background story of the HIT. Act by real person, the performance is appealing.

The next 15 seconds shows the combat interface and new female character.

To refresh your memory, developed by studio Nat Games and crafted by Unreal Engine 4, HIT is apparently Nexon's first foray into the high-end mobile games market in terms of graphics. Check out the trailers below.

World of Warcraft: Legion is officially in alpha testing stage, and players have found some Easter Egg in the Alpha Client. Famous characters Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy 7 series appears on the new Dalaran.

Another NPC at the Mandori Village in the Wandering Isle who causes players to stop and twitch for a couple of seconds is Mina Kunis, a World of Warcraft version of Mila Kunis.

In addition, the UFC fighter Ronda Rousey has been added into the game with a character named "Rhonda", and you can find her around the Monk class hall.

The Dota 2 massive new patch "The Balance of Power" was finally announced earlier today, and it is set to go live on Dota 2 Reborn Client some time this week. New patch adds a hero, Arc Warden, four new items, redesigns Riki, Doom, Death Prophet, Faceless Void, Lone Druid and Winter Wyrvern. Besides, three popular heroes Earth Spirit, Oracle and Terrorblade have been added to Captain's Mode.

In addition, the map has been changed significantly. New path and additional neutral creep camps add new options for players to farm and escape. You can read the full patch notes on the official site.

I know most MMORPGs today, especially the F2P titles are digital download only but I still like to see your opinions. For now I personally love to see a physical boxed version of Blade & Soul, Black Desert, and Monster Hunter Online because these MMORPGs have great arts and many gamepaly contents that make them worth having a boxed version.

Normally I prefer boxed version because I want to own the game physically. Some 3A titles include beautiful handbook or other stuff (such as the map of the game) that you can't have by buying digital version.

The disadvantage of physical boxed version is obvious: it's more expensive than digital version, and it might be damaged. And if you are buying it online, you need to wait until it's delivered to you.

So which type do you prefer?

NCsoft unveiled its large-scale update "The Great Journey"(Teaser Website: http://bns.plaync.com/story/update_151116/index) for Blade & Soul in Korea today, December 16, 2015. This large-scale update contains some new contents including new class Soul Fighter, new region, new dungeon and others.

Unveiled only one year after Warlock, Soul Fighter is the 9th new class in Blade & Soul. Soul Fighter not only features powerful fist position and force, but also unleash fast combat and range attack due to position transformation. Currently, 2 out of 4 races in Blade & Soul could select Soul Fighter. They are Gon and Kun.

In the new region, players are able to experience the new story via epic quests. There are 3 monster in total in the new dungeon.

Xiao Hong, CEO of Perfect World received our interview recently. And he talked about the future plan of MOBA mobile game, the release schedule of Torchlight Mobile and the development situation of Final Fantasy Type-0 Online.

Perfect World agents DOTA2 in China and wants to expand the filed of e-sport. Perfect World attach the great importance of e-sport genre of DOTA2. Perfect World also agents PANZAR developed by Panzar Studio. As for MOBA mobile game, Perfect World still in the exploration stage and waiting for the perfect moment to release a good MOBA mobile game.

Torchlight Mobile is supposed to be released in 2016. Besides this, Perfect World will release another 15 different mobile games. The specific dates are still remain unknown.

The development of Final Fantasy Type-0 Online is very smoothly. It was told Final Fantasy Type-0 Online would start the close beta test in December. Now the close beta test seems delayed. Maybe the development team work on really hard to make it more perfect.

Tomorrow (December 17th) is a big day for Monster Hunter Online players worldwide, though MHO doesn't have an English version, all players can join in the pre-open beta as long as you have a QQ account (see how to register & download). Before the open beta, Chinese gaming media Sina has interviewed MHO producer Tao Weishi, explaining MHO's current status and future plans.

Q: MHO just started non-wipe closed beta on November 17 and then Tencent announced the pre-open beta date will be on December 17. What makes Tencent to conduct open beta so soon? What development state is the game in?

A: Pre-open is coming so fast is because we don't want players to wait any longer. We know players have waited MHO for a long time. Since the servers run kinda stably in the non-wipe closed beta so we think it is the time to start open beta. The game

Q: Are you happy with the non-wipe closed beta? Any testing data you can share with us? For example, which weapon is most popular?

A: Yeah, we are content with the final closed beta. As for the testing data, I can tell you that the most popular melee weapon is Tachi while the ranged weapon is Bowgun.

Q: How many online players you expect in MHO open beta?

A: Well, the more the better lol. We hope more and more players will have a chance to play MHO and like the Monster Hunter series.

Q: What new weapons we can expect in the open beta?

A: Players will see Hunting Horn in the open beta as a new weapon debuting in MHO. We've done a lot of changes to the Hunting Horn to make it easier to use and more friendly to beginners.

Q: How many new monsters we'll see in the open beta?

A: There are 4 new monsters announced so far but if you count subspecies and those special monsters, they are far more than 4! We'll release them in the subsequent updates.

Q: Players were experiencing long waiting time in the queues (sometimes more than 1 hour) in the closed beta. How you plan to fix this?

A: We'll open more servers in the open beta for sure and at the same time, expand the server capacity . We found that players like to flock in the hot servers but in fact, some newly opened servers are vacant so we highly recommend players to choose a not-that-busy server to play.

Q: Any plans to increase the inventory slots?

A: Hunters can expand their storage and as for the inventory slots expansion, we adopt Monster Hunter's original setting but we'll assess it according to player's feedbacks.

Q: Will Tencent intervene the in-game chat channels, like using the trumpet item to spam in the chat channel?

A: We won't be involved in player's chat but if some players use chat channel to cheat others, we'll definitely take care of it.

Q: What's the end game plan for Monster Hunter Online?

A: On the one hand, we'll add new monsters, new weapons to the game and on the other hand, we'll employ more fresh features, like the team hunting, group hunting to make MHO a bit competitive.

Q: How often you plan to update MHO in the future?

A: We haven't decided that but we can assure you that we'll bring new content to MHO constantly to make it fresh for hunters.

Q: Does Tencent have other plans based on the Monster Hunter IP?

A: Definitely! Besides MHO, Monster Hunter Mezeporta Reclamation, a web browser game based on Monster Hunter, will also start non-wipe closed beta very soon! In addition, a Monster Hunter themed cafe was opened in Shanghai lately. We'll push out more content/products based on the Monster Hunter IP, including Monster Hunter peripherals, original soundtrack etc.

Q: In the end, can you tell us Tencent's future development plans on MHO? Can we expect PvP in the game?

A: We'll release more new monsters in the game, which will be MHO exclusive and currently, we are developing new MHO exclusive weapons. As for PvP, you know it is a discreet topic in Monster Hunter because PvP is not allowed in the original Monster Hunter series. Therefore, we don't have any plans on PvP so far. However, we'll have some PvE team tournaments in the open beta.

Winter update is coming to Mabinogi Heroes developed by Nexon and a upcoming character - Delia made her debut.

Seeing the preview trailer about creation and armor, Delia is designed for a pure melee experience and armed with a gigantic greatsword. Delia also use the greatsword (or claymore etc etc) to both attack and defend. The shedding of her armor is a skill, which increases her damage for a very short amount of time. Anyway, Delia reminds me of Elsa in Frozen. They share something in common, huh? Check out the two trailers below.

One of the core features of Albion Online's private islands, the laborers can be somewhat confusing for new players. To simplify this a bit, this guide will list the different laborers and what they do, seperating them in two different categories. You may also consult this guide for more information about how to hire and use laborers.

Gatherer Laborers:

These laborers will probably be the easiest ones to understand, although a few ones may be slightly harder to figure out than others. They will basically do basic gathering work that any player can do, usually returning with 150-200 of whatever ressource they are assigned to.

Lunara was just added to Heroes of the Storm, and she's unlike any hero in the game so far. You'll need to spend some time familiarizing yourself with her to gain a better understanding of her unique movement mechanics, unusual damage structure, and complex talent options.

That's why you should join me as I take a deep dive into Lunara in the video below. It takes a while to get the hang of her, but by the end you'll have an idea how to choose her talents, use her abilities, and follow my general tips on playing her well.

I don't think Lunara is going to be a highly competitive hero just yet, but with a little time and a small tweak or two, she could become a very interesting part of the meta game. She offers so many things that other heroes can't do, and that means she might carve out a niche for herself, particularly among organized teams where vision and presence are valuable.

Arch-Thief Rafaam is the newest big bad legendary card in Hearthstone, and he has one of the coolest effects in the game. When you play him, you get to choose one of three supremely powerful spells called artifacts. It's knowing which one to pick that can be a considerable challenge.

In the video below, I go into great detail on all three artifacts, discussing the risk and reward values for each, along with specific situations and game states that will be best suited to a given card. After watching this guide, you'll never doubt your Arch-Thief Rafaam artifact selection again.

Heroes of Order & Chaos developed by Gameloft will enter a new era of the ‪MOBA‬ genre on mobile. It is getting the most massive, game changing update ever seen in the franchise. The upcoming updates focus on improving the style and quality of user interface and graphics. Now Gameloft released news videos about the remade version. The remade version now is available on APP Store. Android players need to wait a little bit.

In Heroes of Order & Chaos, players can choose their favorite characters to co-op with friends destroy enemies' base. The overall graphics is a little bit dark. In 2011, Chinese Internet Giant Tencent acquired a majority stake of Riot Games. Today, Riot Games, the developer behind League of Legends, has announced that its majority investor Tencent recently purchased the remaining equity of the company. When that stake was purchased, CEO Brandon Beck said the Los Angeles-based company would "remain completely independent."

As a result of our continued growth and changing circumstances, we're shifting to a new structure to recognize and reward Rioters' contributions - and that first involves a big change to our existing equity program. As part of this effort, our majority investor, Tencent, recently purchased the remaining equity of Riot Games. This allows us to move away from a Riot equity program towards a cash based incentive program that allows Rioters to share in Riot's success.

League of Legends made over US$1.3 billion in microtransaction revenue in 2014, making the acquisition lucrative indeed for Tencent.
