Tom Clancy's The Division Beta Probably Coming This Month

0
0
We already know that the release date set for Tom Clancy's The Division is on March 8, 2016 but I guess many players would like to get their hands on the game first before they spend some real money in the game. Developer Ubisoft never announced a beta date for The Division but it seems they unintentionally spill the beans of the upcoming beta, which will probably take place in January.

That was discovered by wccftech through UPlay mobile application where they found that one of the unlockable actions for The Division indicates the beta plan, though without specific date.

Ubisoft once held an alpha test for Tom Clancy's The Division back in December but we didn't see any reviews or reports due to the NDA.

The Division is a third person shooter mixed with MMORPG elements. You can get the beta qualification by pro-ordering the latest Humble Bundle.

Blade & Soul (NA) Previews Endgame Dungeon and 24-Man Raid

0
0
Blade & Soul is going to launch next week and at launch the level cap sets at 45. You'll be able to challenge the iconic villain Poharan inBlackram Supply Chain dungeon at end-game. With fine gear, a proper group, and experience you can try 24-man raid (which is 24-man version of Blackram Supply Chain) for different type of challenge.

Blackram Supply Chain can be played in 4-man or 6-man version, both of which have same bosses and can be entered through cross server dungeon finder. The 24-man version is called E. Fleet Supply Chain and it increases enemies' health and reduces damage they take. The raid version can't be entered through cross server dungeon finder. Players are supposed to look for others using the Party Finder, or simply gather at the entrance if they are in the same guild.

Gatekeeper Slashimi

Chef Tae Jangum

Barracks Officer Mak Sobo

Vice Admiral Poharan

Blackram Supply Chain 6-Player (Normal Difficulty)

6-player dungeons are the standard dungeons that the vast majority of players will experience through their adventures to reach max level. They offer group content that requires a modest amount of coordination and group composition, and are most commonly entered through use of the automated Cross Server Dungeon finder.

In the 6-player version you'll see reduced damage from enemies, damage indicators (also referred to as telegraphs) from enemies indicating where they'll attack, suggestions on how to avoid damage, and you'll have a timer that will show when to best execute a successful dodge out of an attack. You can also use Dragonblood which is obtained from shrines in the dungeon that will return you to full health if you were to take enough damage to kill you.

While the overall difficulty is well balanced for a full group of six players, it is possible to try to tackle it with fewer than that, and for an equally greater challenge. Rewards you can gain from the 6-player dungeons include Soul Shields and accessories, a chance at chests that contain weapons, and various crafting materials.

Blackram Supply Chain 4-Player (Hard Difficulty)

The 4-player version of a dungeon is the max-level version, and offers greatly increased difficulty. Not only are enemies doing more damage, but you won't see any attack telegraphs (you’ll need to memorize their animations), and you won’t receive any ability suggestions or dodge timers. Bosses may also have additional abilities or different attack patterns, as well as increased health and reduced enrage timers (the amount of time before their damage is increased to instantly lethal levels). You also won't have the standard Dragonblood to use to resurrect, although your other party members can still always resurrect you directly (if they’re still alive). Of course for the greatly increased challenge come increased rewards—including the boss’ own weapon as a drop, and exclusive outfits and accessories.

E. Fleet Supply Chain 24-Player (Easiest Difficulty)

The 24-player version of Blackram Supply Chain is called the E. Fleet Supply Chain, and must be entered directly from the instance portal. 24-player versions of dungeons allow multiple groups of players to enter at the same time to conquer constantly respawning enemies and bosses. You can’t use the Cross Server Dungeon finder to join a 24-player dungeon, and instead will want to look for others using the Party Finder, or for people gathering at the entrance to the instance. It all comes down to efficiency of the groups working together to defeat enemies, so joining an efficient group can be extremely lucrative. When an instance fills up with 24 players, a new instance is created and any new players entering will be placed into that one, and then the next when that one's full, etc.

Enemies have generally increased health, and reduced damage, allowing anyone who enters the ability to contribute. It’s entirely possible to enter alone and work with the other players already in the instance, but it’s generally recommended to enter with a few other players, or post a notice for a group in the Party Finder. There are daily quests that will regularly send players into the standard 6-player dungeon, but a large number of daily quests exist for the 24-player version, and they can be excellent sources of experience and gold.

TERA Senior Producer Dived into 2016 Plans But Players Aren't Pleased

0
0
TERA Senior Producer Matthew “Denommenator” Denomme yesterday posted the plans laid out for TERA in 2016 on the forum with a statement in the beginning that "2015 was TERA’s most successful individual year so far. In fact, TERA had more unique active players in 2015 than in any previous year." Then he continued with the plans set for 2016 but apparently players are not happy with it since the next major update for TERA is scheduled for March 2016. Thus, the forum post got massively downvoted with a "-1436" and 90 pages' negative comments.

"We'll release our first major build of 2016 in early March. This build will increment us several versions ahead of our current version, bringing not only new content, but also several new EME-developed systems and initiatives. For content, this update features a hard mode for the recently released Forsaken Isle max-level dungeon, an upgrade to the Dreadspire challenge dungeon (dubbed 'Dreadspire Season 2' by the developers), and the transformation of the Island of Dawn into a max-level hunting zone. En Masse Entertainment is also working internally on some development projects to be released alongside this update."

A new VIP loyalty system as well as a romantic return of Kyra’s Pop-Up Potion Shack in February are also on the schedule.

[Update] Denommenator and his team realized that players were disappointed with the producer letter so he posted another thread apologizing, admitting the mistakes and explained to the players why the major build got delayed and what they are going to do in the next 2-3 weeks.

In order to minimize the number of builds they’d need to prepare and to facilitate our internal development of the new in-game store, Bluehole delivered us a build containing the content from several different game versions (FIHM, Dreadspire 2, and the Island of Dawn max-level hunting zone). We raised concerns to Bluehole regarding this build, knowing the issues the community would have with its impact on gear progression and the delays it would cause. Unfortunately, Bluehole is currently undergoing an internal re-organization and was not able to support creation of an additional interim build. While it sucks that Bluehole’s re-org impacted our build schedule, the goal of the re-org is for teams to work more closely on their end which should ultimately benefit TERA’s overall global service.

Well, TERA players, what do you think about the producer letter?

A Fist of Fire and Ice! Blade & Soul Force Master PVP Skill Guide

0
0
Force Master is one of the most interesting and fun to play classes in Blade&Soul. Force master offers an interesting combination of a ranged glass cannon type who either razes his enemies with fire or makes shaved ice out of them. Knowing when to switch between those two elements is the key into mastering him.

But beware!!!
With great power comes great responsibilities
If you decide to play as Force Master your teammates will be expecting a lot of damage from you. But fear not! Because this guide is made to help players who want just that!

I made this guide based on my own experience and from advice I took from other players and I managed to perform quite well with it most of the time. In that point I would like to say that there is no perfect build, the only perfect build is your own build, the one that suits you the most. Because even with a “perfect” build, you'll still get defeated by someone who is more knowledgeable than you in terms of their own class. That’s why you need to practice if you want to get better, learn from your mistakes and eventually find the build that suits you.

Skill Build
This guide’s features are: lv45 as level cap, Hongmoon lv0 and doesn’t include legendary skills.
If you have any different suggestions, be sure to leave them in the comment section, so everyone can see them and possibly benefit from them. Without any further ado, let’s get started!

A good skill that counters gap-closers and blocks range attacks if timed well. The 2nd point heals you when you use it on frozen enemies, thus making it a good follow up skill for the RB skill(frost palm).

I know, I’ve said that Force Master is a destructive force of nature and that your teammates will expect from you the most damage, but with such high benefits from that skill, I just couldn’t overlook it. It heals and mitigates damages for both you and your team and have I mentioned that it is also mobile and follows you?!

This skill is not really powerful, but one point should always be spent to increase the projectile speed, thus gives your opponent less time to counter. More points will further lower the casting animation, but I wouldn’t go that far as to increase it, since they are other more valuable skills than that.

A very important core CC-skill, since it slows and freezes enemies and will allow you to stop them as they try to close the gap between you and them.
The 3rd point increases for how long you the snare from Frostbite affect your enemies, it adds 4 seconds, for a whole of 10 seconds where you can nuke him from afar. Addionally, when Button 1 skill (Shockwave) is used on a frozen target, it will stun for 1s.

Many people tend to not upgrade this skill twice, because it increases its cooldown by 20 sec which means less mobility, since it’s an evasive skill. Still, my suggestion is to upgrade it twice, because the benefits are much more rewarding than a bit more mobility. In second level you are able use the skill while under heavy cc (stun, weaken and downed etc) and also freezes the enemies affected.
As Force Master you stay in general away from the heat of the fight and blast from afar, so having a sure out-of-jail skill, is better than a generic escape skill which your enemies can easily counter by using their respective dash skill, once you have dashed away from them.

Again a support skill that make you and your surrounding teammate invulnerable to damage. It is good to have it as a last resort.

A good source of Qi, decent damage and an unblockable slow effect, certainly worth investing into.

If you have any different suggestions, be sure to leave them in the comment section, so everyone can see them and possibly benefit from them.

Become the Bruce Lee of Blade & Soul - Kungfu Master PVP Skill Guide

0
0
Kung-Fu master is one of the most difficult classes to learn in B&S and by far the hardest to master, but with enough practice you’ll soon see results. And the satisfaction you’ll gain when you will be wreaking havoc among your enemies will be great!!!

As Bruce Lee had once said: "Pray not for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a hard one"

I made this guide based on my own experience and from advice I took from other players and I perform quite well with it. In that point I would like to say that there is no perfect build, regardless of classes. The only perfect build is your own build, the one that suits you the most, nobody’s build is perfect, because even with a “perfect” build, you'll still get defeated by someone who is more knowledgeable than you in terms of their own class. That’s why you need to keep practicing, learn from your mistakes and eventually find the build that suits you.

Skill Build
This guide refers to lv45 players with Hongmoon  0 and doesn’t include legendary skills.

First and foremost, KFM’s most infamous and complicated skill. There are 4 stages and it has to be stacked in succession. Once you reach one stage, you will have 10 seconds to successfully put another stack of pressure point at your opponent. If you fail to do so within that period, the pressure point will disappear and you will have to wait 1 minute cooldown before trying again.
I choose the left skill tree for pressure point, because it makes it even more lethal than it is, the right one will give you some more cc over your opponent, but with all the skills and combos that cause cc, it is not really that good.

This skill is the bread and butter of KFM, mastering this skill is essential for both pve and pvp.
Honestly, deciding which one of its four skill trees to invest into and how many skill points should I sacrifice was rather hard for me. In the end, I’ve settled with cc immunity after each successful counter, third point on that tree would also heal for half the damage dealt, but I’ve let it go for the sake of other skills. The other build I suggest is to invest into its Tier3 Form3 which stuns the opponent after each successful counter.

Those two skill Leg Sweep-Ankle blow are overlapping skills that share the same hotkey. 2nd skill point increases the radius and the duration of the knockdown and the third skill is essential since ankle strike is one the most common ways to stack pressure point skill.

Another pair of skill that are intertwined, they are considered one of KFM’s most op skills and are a must-have for every player. Also, you only need three points, instead of six to upgrade them both max.
Fully upgraded, they give invulnerability on use and for 1 second after and also heal 2% of max hp. Those two only make for a pretty OP combination, especially in PVP. Also, it has an awakening effect which activates when 3 attacks are resisted. You will find yourself running faster and evading more attacks.

An extremely rewarding skill which if timed correctly, protects the user and its teammates in an 5m area from all damage. It’s certainly worth investing into it.

1 skill point for 3 second stun during which you can easily stack two pressure point stacks, three if you are skilled and experienced enough. Not a bad trade-off if I may say so myself.

The healing you receive in return is worth every point. It might save you fom a sticky situation

If you have any different suggestions, be sure to leave them in the comment section, so everyone can see them and possibly benefit from them.

Unleash the Fury!!! Dragomon Hunter staff Mage PVE skill guide.

 http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/dragomon-hunter/images/f/f9/Dragomon_Hunter_-_Mage/revision/latest?cb=20150914230637
This guide is based on lv60 staff mages.
Note that is just a recommendation, you are free to change anything you don't like in your build and don’t forget that there is no perfect build, the only perfect build is your own build, the one that suits you the most, nobody’s build is perfect, because even with a “perfect” build, you will still get defeated by someone who is more knowledgeable than you in terms of their own class. That’s why you need to practice if you want to get better, learn from your mistakes and eventually find the build that suits you.

Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Cloth armor gives you more penetration, attack and critical damage. Highest damage set in the game.
- Good crowd control since you have two main AOE skills.
Cons:
- Cloth armor means low defense, so in order to stay alive you’ll have to be on the run constantly, especially against high level mobs.
- You will find it difficult to speed level up alone, because of your low level gear that offers poor stats.

Stat Points Allocation
As for stat points, my suggestion would be to invest 60-70% of your points on Attack for high flat damage and the remaining points in Crit. The opposite is also good if you want more Crit and less Attack. Personally I would recommend the first. But feel free to balance them out as you like, since you have free resets.

SKILLS

Lighting Barrage

Lighting Barrage is your main single target skill, it does 300% damage

- Speed Charge. (4 stars )
Upgrading it will reduce the cooldown making the skill more spammable. It will also give you a nice passive 4% boost in ATK.

- Thunder Stimulate. (3 stars)
Upgrading this skill will give you a higher CRIT chance for this skill (Electric Energy Mystic Bomb) ONLY, but it will also increase your overall CRIT damage by 6% which will help your character reach the maximum CRIT damage cap, which is important for a mage.

Flame Barrier

Fierce Inflammation. This is the first of your two main AOE skill that you will be using all the time. This skill inflicts 400% damage leaving behind three trails of fire that each does 225% damage per second on the enemies standing on them.

- Rapid Cooldown(2 stars)
It reduces the cooldown of this skill a bit so adding two points in this upgrade should be fine. You will gain 8% reduced cooldown on this skill and it will also give you a permanent 8% fire resistance.

- Burning Enchantment(5 stars)
This is a very useful upgrade since it increases the DOT damage you trail of fire does by 100% (225%->325%). It will also give you a real nice 5% passive buff to Penetration.

Frost Explosion

If the previous skill was the bread this is the butter to the bread ‘n butter pair of the AOEs that you will be using throughout the game. This is skill does 360% of damage and also freezes the enemies hit for 2 seconds. This skill is very useful for PVP too as you can freeze a group of people at the same time as you cast another skill.
- Extreme Ice Element. (4 stars )
This upgrade increases the time your enemies are trapped within the ice. It is very useful since it gives you more time to relocate if you are in danger or cast another spell.

- Super Fields increase. (3 stars)
This upgrade expands the radius of your skill and will allow you to hit enemies in an even wider range. It will give also give you an attack speed buff that lasts 4 seconds which in turn will reduce the casting time of your next skill choice.

Black Desert: Cash Shop, Name Reservations, CBT2, and Future Details

Daum Games prepares something good for you in the weekend. They will announce Black Desert CBT2  date next week and has confirmed that family and character name reservations will start in early February, likely around the first week of next month. Of course you need to preorder teh game to get into the name reservations.

There will be two different shops, Cash Shop (items are purchased with Pearls) and Mileage Shop (items are purchased with miles). What is mile? Miles are family bound currency (items are character bound) and you'll receive 100 miles per day for logging onto any of your characters - currently the only way to get miles is daily login. Items purcahsed from either shop can't be sold in auction house.

So why make two shops? In simple words, potential p2w items are now all moved to Mileage Shop so everyone can get them with miles (and those items are not p2w anymore).

See below some of the items you can purchase in Cash Shop and Mileage Shop.

And some changes you will see in CBT2 or the future.

Leveling Curve
The experience from monsters will be adjusted compared to CBT to lower the risk of running into this scenario too frequently. Developers are aware of the situation and they will keep adjusting the progression flow in the process. Additionally, we are looking into the possibility of adding additional quests to fill the gaps in-between.

Group Play
The party experience and field boss drops have been addressed already in the previous PM Diary. Many of you have asked for the so-called "Party Loot Bag", which allows players to conveniently split the loot based on categories during faster leveling. We discussed the matter with the developers and they have raised their concerns as it has been removed from the Korean version for a reason. They have experienced issues that affected the efficiency of their service operation and providing a proper support of issues around the "PLB".

However, the developers are currently looking into different solutions that will offer similar or even improved version for players. One possible direction is to give users the option to 'claim' an item before it will be sold on the marketplace. This is merely a concept for now, but we will keep you updated about the progress.

Energy System
We introduced the new energy system already last time. However, some players raised concerns about the exchange rates of 'unused energy' into 'energy potion' on the Korean service. We will see how the system develops over time and adjust the rates if required.

Karma and PK
Currently small-scale PvP is heavily punished through Karma loss. Lowering the Karma penalty will result in more PK, which may work for PvP focused players but not for PvE players. Increasing Karma penalty doesn't do the trick either obviously vice versa.

Actually this was the most important and also most difficult part to discuss with developers. We discussed several ideas and went back and forth on them.

For example we came up with a Vendetta System, which would in short, allow a player to call a Vendetta on max 5 players, based on the GvG system. So in short, you have to pay silver to keep up the Vendetta, but in return you can do unharmed PK. Repetitively calling Vendetta wouldn’t be possible as it would be tied to a cooldown. At some point we came to a dead-end on this matter, as it wouldn’t necessarily solve the issue. You could still do random 'ganking' of innocent players.

So you can see our dilemma. Valencia Part II update, which has been recently released in Korea offers some additional PK/PvP features and offers some freedom to a certain extent. However, many players do not want to wait until Valencia.

We brought up the old flagging system that many PKers requested. But it doesn’t really solve the issue as it brings up new issues. Such as the possibility to avoid the Karma penalty by attacking a player while he is engaged with monsters until he ultimately gets killed by the monsters (last hit). This way you could simply avoid getting the penalty for the kill, as the final strike would have been executed by the monster, not the player.

So far we only have an early concept on paper that we are trying to refine. The direction is simple. Offer a bounty system where any player can set a bounty on another player. The reward for the ‘assassin’ would be karma.

The idea behind it in short, is displayed in the following scenario:

  1. PK1 kills PvE1
  2. PvE1 is pissed and sets bounty on PK1
  3. PK2 kills PvE2
  4. PK2 needs to refill his Karma
  5. PK2 kills PK1 to get Karma back
  6. ...Hunting season is opened!...

Player to Player Trade
In CBT1 we had several items available for player-to-player trading. Yes, it was the same list that the Russian server used. However, we are still considering to have the player-to-player trading completely removed, as it doesn’t offer any reasonable benefit with the current setting and offering more items for open trading is not an option either. The game’s design is laid out to function without player-to-player trade.

Nonetheless we want to stress that we do understand the perception of Western players and their demand for such features. We will closely monitor the development on our service and respond accordingly to improve the situation if deemed necessary.

This is not final, but you will see the changes latest within the patch notes for CBT2. Again, BDO will evolve over time, so please give us time to determine the needs for our service after launch and do not base all your assumptions and perception on your experience with other games or the Korean service. Give us the chance to be our own version of Black Desert Online.

Server Setup
Still in discussion. No update yet. Sorry folks.

Once we found a final decision, we will let you know and explain the reasoning behind it. Whatever setup it will be, it will be in your interest.

Learning Curve
Black Desert Online is a game of incredible depth and there is just so much to find out and to get lost in. We do understand that especially casual players might feel intimidated by all the different features that are deeply interconnected, so my personal recommendation is, take your time!

Jokes aside, we will look into the possibility to add a quest to the in-game wiki page which is monitored by fans. That way, additional content can be added anytime addressing the most urgent needs for information. On top of that, we will re-arrange some of the tutorial quests to offer knowledge about certain features at an earlier stage.

Around launch, we also plan on improving our website content, so adding additional guides will most likely be part of this process.

Localization

Black Desert has more than 1.000 characters that will be voiced. Many of them solely mumbling in the background mostly contributing the overall atmosphere. To emphasize the beautiful lore and world of Black Desert, we have decided to allocate certain English accents to each region, as the game will only be featuring the English voice over with English, German and French subtitles.
  • Balenos and Serendia will both have NPCs speaking  U.S. American English
  • Calpheon will have British English
  • Mediah has Australian English
  • Valencia will receive an Arabian Acccent
  • Elves in Kamasylvia will speak Irish
  • Dragan, well obviously … Scottish

Cinematic Intro
The current cinematic intro video that we have is different from what the Korean service had at the beginning. Unfortunately, the old one became obsolete because it didn’t match the storyline and lore anymore after certain parts had been rewritten. However, developers are working hard on offering a different, re-worked Cinematic Intro for the NA/EU service, which might, with a bit of luck, be ready for launch! So stay tuned…

Castle Siege and Node Wars
They will not be part of the launch, but released with the earliest update, roughly ~4 weeks after launch. The main reason behind this is to give everyone a chance to get accustomed to the game, find a guild and educate themselves about the features before it gets ugly. J
Also before the features get fully activated, we will do some test runs at the beginning once implemented, so we can fine-tune the settings at our end to provide the best stability possible.

Vainglory Meta Update - January "Winter" Edition

0
0

As the Autumn season officially ended we get our rewards and move into the winter season. If you haven't noticed already your rank has been reset and the pool has now been mildly scattered.

MINION MINER CHANGES

So, I know there's a lot of theories about when a minion miner should be used, and with this update the developers cleared up the mechanics. Instead of buffing your lane minions to the point that your top is way over extended - the update only makes your minions stronger against hero tax or towers best there is no auto push happening anymore this makes capturing your minion miner and the enemies a much higher priority. That being said the new meta should indicate a lot more jungle teamfights, and invading from both teams. Because of this change, the developers decided to give the minion miners a health buff so they're going to be about 20% more difficult to kill. *yay solo jungle :/

With the new season comes new Champions, the first being Reim. He reminds me of mixture between Scaarf and Krul. Although you build him heavy on ability power, mid-game he starts getting to feel tanky. Reim’s tankiness comes from his fortified health heroic perk that stacks with ability power and ability usage. Meaning bursting him down is a priority, not letting him poke away or act like a bruiser.

NEW CHAMPION: REIM

HEROIC PERK: FROSTGUARD
Reim’s basic attacks deal 20-54 (+125% crystal power) bonus crystal damage over 2 seconds and grant 50% of the damage dealt with this effect as fortified health (reduced against non-heroes).

Reim’s attacks and abilities also chill opponents. Basic attacks against targets that are already chilled apply a 60% slow that decays over 0.6 seconds.

(Fortified health absorbs 50% of incoming damage until it is depleted.)

WINTER SPIRE
Reim summons a spire of ice at a nearby location, dealing crystal damage to surrounding enemies. After a short delay, the spire shatters, dealing heavy crystal damage. 35% of the damage dealt with this ability is gained as fortified health. Damage dealt and fortified health gained is reduced against non-heroes.

This ability deals 25% increased damage to chilled targets.

CHILL WINDS
Reim deals a burst of crystal damage to all surrounding enemies (25% damage to minions).
This ability roots enemies who are chilled, temporarily preventing them from moving. A rooted enemy can still attack.

VALKYRIE
Reim summons an ancient valkyrie, devastating enemies at the target location. All enemies are slowed, while enemies closer to the center are stunned and take increased damage.

COUNTER
Glaive
Koshka

Vainglory developers decided to only give us three Winter Skins: Skaarf, Glaive, Catherine. They did make a few champion changes but nothing major, all really affecting laning. Black Feather got a health nerf, and laning rework making definitely nerfing his early game laning phase. Kestrel also got a laning nerf, but you won't really feel it until late game when you don't build her CP. Also there was a few issues with her ult being weak early game, so it's early levels got a slight buff. Petal got a (slight) Munions rework, where their health got increased and they're treated more like minions. Lastly, Skye’s Suri strike got a huge laning nerf, where I guess when he built her AP she could just clear the lane without even trying and burst you down with her first (A) ability.

And great new map update, with falling snow I personally think it looks much better than the original map. Another edition  is a perfect music update, where is not holiday-themed rather just makes you feel like you're in a winter abyss. Ultimately with all the white snow, I am able to see my character more clearly best making team fights a little easier to manage.

You're going to see a lot of Reim in the beginning of this season and expect him to be OP before the nerf. The fact that he is a tanky mage without filling any tanky items is definitely going to make him a threat that we all are going to have to deal with. If we thought Krul was a problem before it seems his brother has just hopped into the field, and he's just as nasty. We're going to see these two combo, until Koshka and Glaive teams makes it back onto the scene. Since our archers got nerfed a bit, we might see a few bruiser lanes break the meta this season. That wraps up January's Vainglory meta update.

Bleach Mobile Game Review - Brave Souls

0
0

This is a crazy fun action RPG to talk about because If you're a fan of the bleach manga, then this game will fill your soul reaper urges. As you start off as Ichigo Kurosaki, from the beginning as you meet Rukia who teaches you all about your soul reapering powers.

Gameplay
The gameplay is smooth as the game throws you directly into the action, minus a few tips to teach you how to play the game. There is no combat lag, rather it's spot on when it comes to animation / combat sensitivity. It only took me two levels to understand the combos and the timing. This either means that the combat is simple or I'm a master at action RPGs. :)

Unfortunately, there's nothing dynamically different about this game. They do you utilize the Rock - Paper - Scissors fighting concept, and when it comes to battle you do focus on parries and counter attacks, rather than screen mashing. It seems as of now the standard opening characters is the kit, (from individual play and what I can find from other YouTube streamers.) Leveling is pretty straightforward, if you ever spent time playing any Final Fantasy, then you should immediately understand this concept. If not, then just read the basic message tutorial and it should slide into place.

Art Design
I'm giving this game a standing ovation when it comes to the sound effects and character voices. It seems they took the exact voices from the Anime, and I'm glad they did because that touch made this game so much better. The background music has that old school pop/rock feel - which kind of gets annoying since they don't have a real music change - aside from the storyline.

The graphics are minimal, they definitely chose the cartoon blocky route, but for this game they made the right choice. It looks like they put just enough realism to capture the manga characters correctly. But since this is an exact copy of the show, I can't give any points to creativity. I do love the fact that with all of this action and fighting, I haven't felt any lag.
Bravo.

Multiplayer
If you want to stick *this leaderboard onto a game and call it multiplayer, then you have a serious issue with me. You only get one multiplayer option, and you don't get to control any of your 3 characters. No guilds in this game and of course the leaderboard is dominated by the original players, so getting to the top 100 it's going to be impossible unless you willing to spend money. The co-op is alright, but you have to have friends that are similar level for it to be worth it. This games multiplayer alone was enough for me to stop playing.

Loot System
Your chance to draw a four star or higher hero is ridiculously low. Aside from my own personal experience I've watched streamers open packs of 30 heroes at a time and only get one five star. Leveling your four star to become a five star is a nearly impossible task as well. In Bleach Brave Souls, you are not allowed to evolve your characters to the next rarity level. However, you are still able to upgrade them by uncapping their max level. Players will need to sacrifice folder cards to level up the level bar. Try to feed only the same character as it gives a huge boost to the exp.
Character RarityMax LevelMax Level after Uncap
12040
23050
34060
45070
56080
The grind is real with this game, and with no satisfying payout. Character progression is basically nonexistent, since leveling your hero only adds star value. Equipment does not physically reflect on your person, rather they rely heavily on numbers. Bleach fans can download this game, but if you want a true action RPG I'd recommend Age of Wushu: Dynasty.
7.8/10
