NCsoft announced that Blade & Soul's first major patch Rising Water will arrive on February 10th, just shortly after Blade & Soul launched in North America last week. This major patch contains a lot of additional end game contents, including three challenging new pieces of max-level PvE content, and new ways to increase your martial prowess.

 

With the Rising Waters patch, Heroic(purple) dungeon Bloodshade Harbor, which is available for 6 or 4 players and whose 24-player version is Nightshade Harbor, will come to Blade & Soul and offers max-level players new challenges against the Blackram pirates, and Poharan's boss, Admiral Hae Mujin himself. The solo Heroic dungeon Mushin's Tower also opens Floors 1-7. Hongmoon Levels allow you to continue to gain experience beyond level 45, and unlock additional skill points to increase your character's strength in combat. The Rising Water patch marks the commencement of the PvP preseason.

Livelock is a surprise from PWE who previously focuses on traditional MMORPG. This time they try new game type — fast-paced top-down shooter. Developed by Tuque Games, a new Canadian studio founded in 2012, Livelock allows you to team up with up to 2 other players to fight the war between machines. Quick reaction, fast decision, and explosive battles are things you can expect from the game.
 

 
Livelock isn't an MMORPG but a co-op shooter. The game aims at console quality, and it does come to PS4 and Xbox One, with a buy-to-play model that PWE barely uses. The game will be released in 2016 and pricing details will be announced in the future.
 
More gameplay details will be released later. You can read the back story below and take a grasp of how the universe looks like.

Livelock transports players into the 22nd century, the age of the machine. Nearly a century after the cataclysm, humanity is on the brink of survival. Clusters - groups of corrupted machines control what remains of the earth, fighting each other in an infinite war over resources that now threatens the very planet itself. Players take control of a Capital Intellect, a human consciousness uploaded to large mechanical body. Armed with a unique arsenal of weapons and special abilities, the Capital Intellect must fight the corrupted machine Clusters and break the cycle of an infinite war, before humanity is forgotten in the annals of history.

The longly-awaited MMORPG, Bless Online, from Korea-based Neowiz Games finally starts open beta today. Before open beta, Bless Online already attracted highly attention in South Korea and it's said that the pre-registration players have reached to 200,000+ from Jan 15 to Jan 24. Neowiz opened 12 servers but 11 of them are already full now with the 12th about to get full as well, even before open beta starts.

ArcheAge, Trion's F2P fantasy sandbox MMORPG, is receiving a massive content update today: Bloodsong. Update 2.5: Bloodsong features the game's first ever puzzle-style dungeon - Mistsong Summit - new quests, new Arena modes, new rewards and achievements, and much more.

ArcheAge 2.5 will also feature new arenas, PvP modes, rewards, achievements and more, details of which can be found below:

New Mistsong Summit inspired quests - In addition to the three new bosses in the 5-player Mistsong Summit dungeon, 14 all-new quests related to the Mistsong Summit storyline have been added to the game. New armor, Lunafrosts and other items can be obtained by conquering dungeon objectives.

New Arenas and PvP modes - Two new types of Balanced Arena modes have been added with the Bloodsong update, accessible to any player over level 30: a 1 vs. 1 Sparring Arena and a 3 vs. 3 Skirmish Arena. All participants may choose from one of eight gladiator skill sets and are automatically scaled to level 55 with all buffs and consumables disabled. A winner is declared when two of the three 7 minute matches are won.

 

New Rewards and Achievements - Players are now showered with all-new rewards for achieving level 55 through in-game mail. "Blood, Sweat and Training" daily quests are also now available along with the new arenas, with increased rewards for victories in multiple arena types.

Other New Additions - 50 all new furniture pieces along with all-new player housing options have been added, along with the ability to use a mount and battle pet simultaneously and a new Moby Drake Fishing Boat.

 

Existing, returning (30 days lapsed) and new ArcheAge players can also take advantage of the Bloodsong Welcome Promotion offering a free new costume, the Springsong Greeman Suit and free combat pat, the Wisdom Tree Pet. Players will also receive 14 days of free gifts including consumables and other Bloodsong-themed items.

Eurogamer obtained and published pretty lots of details of LucasArts' nearly-completed MMO Star Wars Outpost. Although you won't be able to play this game, you can take a look at the game that you may not even hear of.
 
It was developed by LucasArts' Singapore office consisted of 30 members and was quietly cancelled 4 weeks from completion (it was about 90% completed according to the source), shortly before Disney's acquisition of Star Wars.


  
Outpost was a browser MMO but the game wasn't a social or casual game as its artwork may suggest, but a hardcore strategy game which was described as Star Wars met Settlers of Catan/EVE.
 


The source said:
 

You would take control of an Outpost on a planet within [the Star Wars galaxy]. The land on the planet was finite and so were the resources, so you were forced to search out and find other players. You had choices to either work with them or betray them for their resources.

 

You could then start supplying weapons/ships/tools etc. to either the Rebels or the Empire. Supporting each side would control a balance of power where that side could start taking over the Galaxy.

The gameplay of Chromatic Souls is very old school and the drama UI seems like a old-school American RPG. The battle is purely turn-based without automatic combat and raid. Each character only has three skills and one normal attack. The CD of skills is very long and the half time you can only flat cut. Chromatic Souls seem like a console game without internet interaction. When playing Chromatic Souls, strategy and community is very necessary. So this game coming out in the end of 2015 is full of nostalgic feelings.


If you have ever played WoW, you will find Chromatic Souls is the spirit succession of WoW on mobile devices. The setting of skills and characters has lot of to do with WoW and Chromatic Souls corresponds its own features with the turn-based gameplay.

Last week, Blizzard teased two new Heroes of the Storm character Wizard Li-Ming and Necromancer Xul, and both new characters are from Diablo universe. Today Blizzard released a new Li-Ming spotlight video and confirmed she would be next hero joining the Nexus.




The spotlight video shows all the abilities in action. The Critical Mass trait will refresh all her abilities once taking down enemies. Inspired by Ultima Online, Mythyn Interactive's sandbox MMO Linkrealms has announced to start Steam Early Access in March. On the other hand, the developer team extends the ongoing Winter Beta to allow more players to try this game out.
 

 
Significant changes are coming to the game, including a large scale overhaul of game UI, new reputation system to prevent "griefing" from hurting new characters, a pet and pet breeding system, and new mechanism allows the game server to be saved several times a day without interrupting the user experience. The stun-lock meta has been a prominent factor in Heroes of the Storm for a long time now. Being able to stun a character, control their movement, and set your team up for easy kills is vital to success in the game these days. Anub'Arak is actually one of the best characters in the game when it comes to disrupting other players, as long as you build him to maximize that potential! 

In the video below, I break down a build for Anub'Arak that allows you to go absolutely crazy with stuns, body blocks, crowd control, and enemy movement disruption. It's a little unusual for the hero, but it won't take long to understand the raw power this build can unleash on unsuspecting opponents.



For your convenience, here is a table of the talent choices by level.

In my opinion, Anub'Arak is a wildly undervalued hero. He can ruin the plans of enemy teams, do loads of damage, and serve as the perfect off-tank. This build will make sure you can go crazy with the big bootied bug, making it one of the most enjoyable and dynamic builds the game has to offer. Renolock has been one of the best decks to arrive with the League of Explorers era, and it doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon! It's still a top tier deck and learning to play it will give you a reliable and powerful deck to climb the ranked ladder all the way to legend.

In the video below, I take Renolock out onto the legend ladder in order to educate viewers about the decks intricacies. You'll learn all the ins-and-outs of Renolock, including mulligan tips, gameplay tactics, lines of play, answers to other meta decks, and general strategy.



Wasn't that fun? This deck is capable of some crazy plays and unbelievable wins! It has so many different power turns available to it, that you'll often find yourself winning games in which it seemed almost impossible to snatch victory. Konami released a new installment in the popular Bomberman franchise yesterday with Taisen! Bomberman. It's only available in Japan for now. Since the pre-registration began in the last winter, Taisen! Bomberman is very popular among players.

Taisen! Bomberman features an online multiplayer mode with up to 4 players and is still based on the same, timeless concept of placing bombs in your friends' faces.


Taisen! Bomberman commemorates the first Bomberman game's release on the Nintendo Famicom (NES) in 1985. The game will feature multiplayer gameplay with up to four players, and will focus on competitive play. The game is slated for release this winter.


The game will have a matchmaking feature to match players with other players of their skill level. It will also include a mode to play only with your friends by entering their game key. It will have cross-platform multiplayer, so players who own the iOS and Android versions can play together.


There will be a solo play mode with 100 levels to beat. Each of these will have leaderboards which demonstrate the players with the highest socre and the fastest time to clear a stage.

It is apparent that NCsoft speeded up its western market strategy in recent years. On the heels of the recent launch of Blade & Soul. NCsoft announced that its brand new MOBA title Master X Master (MXM Official Website: http://www.playmxm.com/) will come to European and North American in the second half of 2016.

MXM is an Action MOBA featuring high-completeness new combat modes "Speed Combat" and "Exciting Beating Feel". With a unique Tag System, MXM enables players to quickly swap between two chosen Masters (characters) mid-combat. The long lasting action MMORPG Continent of the Ninth Seal (C9) has received the latest update where  a new Awakened Level System is introduced to players. Players with a level 67 character holding an Ultimate Fury Skill, and who complete special quests to prove that they are worthy, will receive a hidden power that applies to all their characters for both PvP and PvE.


Once players select one of three bonuses, they can level up the awakened power to strengthen their bonus even further (up to the maximum awakened level of 300).

The Awakened Level System grants players powerful abilities with no special equipment, and shares the awakened level and experience with all characters on the same account. Consequently, not only will players' main characters receive a big advantage, but their sub-characters will also.

With the arrival of the Awakened Level System, the C9 team will be running a week-long event to give out Cosmos Stones, Rentus War Artifacts and more items to players that reach awakened level 50 or higher.

In ArcheAge 2.9 Version players will be able to create their own kingdom, developing their realm. The castles, cities, and palaces built in the realm need protection, and a good choice is the dragon.
