To celebrate the coming of 2016, Monster Hunter Online will host a Chinese character collection event and participants can expect to get some cool head accessories from the event. It's not difficult for foreigners to join, so see what you need to do after the image gallery.

Event time: January 1st - January 3rd
Reward claim time:January 2nd - January 10th
What you need to do?
By hunting large size monsters in hunting zone, you have the chance to get a New Year envelope, which contains a random Chinese character (Hanzi). If you manage to collect the required characters you can claim rewards (including silver coins and head accessories) at the event page.
Some important reminders
1. January 1st - January 3rd is the time you can collect Chinese characters
2. Only large size monsters drop New Year envelopes
3. The reward claim will be opened until January 10. Make sure you claim the rewards before the deadline
4. The characters you've collected will be updated at the event page at 10AM (Beijing time) the next day. So don't worry if the page doesn't immediately display your collection.
5. Head accessories are not permanent items
6. Head accessories are not tradable
