Days ago, we reported that there are two new Special Force mobile games currently in development by Korea-based Dragonfly. Appearently, Dragonfly plans to exploit the Special Force IP into more platforms, including the newly-arising Virtual Reality area. Dragonfly said they are heading into Virtual Reality industry and a VR shooter based on Special Force is now in development. They aim to develop more immersed content for shooter fans, creating a more "real" game environment for players.
It's estimated that VR industry value will reach 67 billion USD in 2020 and Korean governament also plans to pay more attention to the VR industry, which is why Dragonfly and maybe more and more Korean game companies will start to set food in the VR area.
