As previously announced, developer Playa Games has released the Pets into the wacky world of multiplatform MMORPG Shakes & Fidget. All heroes can now look for, collect, level up, and draw on the help of the new Pets.
100 Elemental Helpers
In the battle against monsters and other players, heroes now have a total of 100 cuddly Pets standing ready at their sides. The Pets draw their strength from the five elements of fire, water, earth, light, and shade. Twenty Pets are allocated to each element, ready to support players with their different abilities. Each element has 14 common, 4 rare and two epic Pets waiting to be found.
100 New Levels
To benefit from the new pets you first need to track them down. Across the entire world of Shakes & Fidget there are now eggs waiting to be found and hatched. However, not all eggs are available everywhere and at all times. One Pet, for example, only appears at night, another only in winter. Once an egg has been collected, the hatched Pet must be fed and strengthened. All Pets can be leveled up with special feed to level 100 to help their high-level owners better. All Pets are also assigned an attribute: a high number of fire Pets, for example, increases the luck attribute bonus.
New Ways to Use
The new Pets not only look fun, they also cut a fine figure in the dangerous world of Shakes & Fidget. Five new dungeons ready to be explored with the Pets are included in the update. Each completed level of a habitat increases the player’s attributes. And completely clearing a dungeon earns them an epic Pet as a reward.
Not only that, but players can also pit their Pets against each other in the new Arena. All the Pets collected for each element can fight side by side as a group once a day, allowing up to five of the new PvP battles each day. The winners can look forward to being promoted to the new Pets Hall of Fame and to feed for their adorable army. More information could be found on the official forum here.
