Let me start off by saying thanks for giving me this chance to play and test Maplestory 2 out I would love to play more of this game as the game itself is very intriguing!
Maplestory 2 is a change in pace for Maplestory because it adds a 3D game world rather than 2D, however still has the same old game mechanics from the original that you would expect.
Customization
The adorable characters that you can customize to your liking and the outfits that you get to choose from are more in depth as is the character customization this go around. This is something I appreciate as it gives your character a little more depth and ties you together more. You have your normal choice of hair and color and clothes but you can now adjust the length of hair and smaller details of this sort on your personal character.
Gameplay
The gameplay is what you would expect from Maplestory the controls and attacks feel the same. Picking up items from the ground is the same and this in itself is a good thing as it feels naturally good and takes what Maplestory 1 did best with the controls and brought them over to the sequel.
Graphics
The graphics is what I really enjoyed about this new addition to the gaming world. The cute little block worlds were very detailed to trees and water to the sky above. The colors were very vibrant and nice to look at while running around the world. the attack animations made attacking seem fun and not repetitive. The swimming and jumping added a great feel to the mechanics of the movement within the game.
Summary
Overall my opinion of the game is great and brings back the old wonderful adventure filling I had when I played Maplestory 1. The 3D change to maplestory is the biggest thing this game is taking on and the block worlds adds a nice addition and change to the world's most of us are normally used to, Also the graphics make the gameplay very bright and interesting to look around and adventure throughout the world.
