TERA landed on the Chinese soil in the summer of 2014. The Chinese launch came long after the game was released in Japan, North America, Europe. Kulun Games (or Kalends) was asigned as
publisher for TERA in China. TERA had a good start in China and back in those days Bluehole Studio talked about challenging Blade & Soul China's superiority.
Recently, Kunlun Games and Bluehole Studio went public announcing that TERA will end its service in China. The decision to shut down TERA was taken without giving a specific reason. The curtain will fall over TERA on August 18th. This short history of TERA in China seems to have a sequel. Pnix Games, a subsidiary of Bluehole Studio is currently working on the mobile version of TERA.
