Pokemon Go has been a smash hit since its debut in Australia and New Zeland. Although the game has yet to be released in large markets like Japan, China and South Korea, the mobile game has already generated $ 35 million in revenue from 30 million worldwide downloads, according to Sensor Tower’s data.

Sensor Tower also indicates that among the 12 mega-hit mobile games on iOS and Android, Pokemon Go is the fastest mobile game to reach 10 million downloads, having done so in just a week. It beat out Supercell’s Clash Royale by two days.
Pokemon Go has already showed its ability to get players spending money and Japan has the highest average revenue per mobile gamer in the world. This pocket-monster app will bring a significantly higher revenue stream than it already is.
