As the official mobile title of SNK’s The King of Fighters franchise, The King of Fighters 97 Online will kick off its open beta for iOS and Android in China on September 10. The King of Fighters 97 Online is a free-to-play side-scroll action game which based mostly on the popular 97 arcade version.
The game aims to reproduce all classic features in original The King of Fighters 97, including modes, scenes, skills, music and more. In order to provide a better user experience, the combo system has been reserved in this mobile version, and players can use different character’s skills by just touching the screen. Moreover, most classic characters are in the confirmed roster such as Iori, Kyo, Mai, Benimaru, Terry, and Athena.
