Overwatch is going to start open beta and launch this month. There are 4 heroes that are recommended to those who are new to this game.
 
Soldier: 76
 

Soldier: 76 is pretty balanced in all aspects and that makes him friendly to new players. You can switch the Heavy Pulse Rifle between 2 different modes for suppress fire or high damage. The Sprint ability allows him to either support teammates or move away from dangerous place. On the other hand, Biotic Field is an ability to heal allies and himself.
 
Tips:

• Keep a distance from enemy
• Try not to be a hero. Try play as a supporter
• Stay at the blind corner to cover teammates in escort mode
• Try to shoot enemy from high and hidden point if you are at the defending side

 
 
Torbjorn
 

Torbjorn is for those who are not good at traveling around the map. Torbjorn picks a good spot, setting up the Turrent and offering suppressing fire. After you build your turrent you can let it do the shooting job — but don't forget to build and upgrade your turrent.
 
Tips:

• Torbjorn's Rivet Gun deals high damage but it has very slow firing rate. So use Rivet Gun as a sidearm
• Follow teammates to the crossfire area and set up the Turrent at the vantage point. You can then find a safe spot to shoot
• Don't forget to give armor packs to your teammates — you are a supporter

 

D.Va


You don't need to learn to control D.Va but you got cool mech and cute voice. D.Va, when in her battle mech suit, has high HP and good armor that help you survive for a long time. Her booster ability allows you to ran away from (or catch up with) the enemies fast. Last but not least, her ultimate ability is also easy to handle.
 
Tips:

• D.Va's Fusion Cannons require no reload but its damage is greatly reduced when the target is over 15 meters far away from you
• Booster (to knock back enemy) + melee attack ("V" button) can usually earn you an advantage in close combat
• When attack the enemy control point, boost into enemy flock and press "Q" to explode your mech suit can usually earn you a multiple kill and help your team take control of the point  

 
Symmetra
 

Symmetra is the most easy-to-play support hero in the game. 3 major things Symmetra needs to do in the battlefield: deploy Sentry Turret at the key positions, deploy Teleporter at hidden but convenient place, and give allies Photon Shield.
 
Tips:

• Try to deploy Sentry Turret at the blind corner or behind the door
• Teleporter is one-way teleporting device. You can teleport back to the hot zone from spawn point but can't teleport back
• Symmetra is not about killing enemies but surviving as long as possible. As long as Symmetra is alive, Teleporter will remain operational and that means a great help to the team

Supercell released 6 new card in its May update. Now Let’s have a look at these cards: Fire Spirits, Furnace, Guards, Lava Hound, Sparky, Miner. 


Fire Spirits can be unlocked in Spell Valley – Arena 5. As we can see from the picture above, this card can summon 3 Fire Spirits with very fast movement speed and 2 attack range. It can target both air and ground units but only costs 2 Elixir.
 
They are good at destroying low and medium HP groups, namely Goblins, Spear Goblins, Goblin Barrel, Minions and Minion Horde, Archers, Barbarians, making them an awesome back-up troop to counter against Giant Push when placed behind a Giant.
 
Being unable to reach Crown Towers for their low HP, Fire Spirits are better in defense. Using this card properly will bring you a positive Elixir trade.

Furnace can be unlocked in Spell Valley – Arena 5. From the picture above, the 5 cost of Furnace summons 2 Fire Spirits every 10 seconds and its lifetime is 50 seconds. If being ignored, it can send 6 waves in total. Therefore, they can survive longer than just place 3 Fire Spirits. This card is awesome, bringing hut-spam lovers a new card to use.
 
Fire Spirits can deal loads of splash damage and die on impact. Unlike spells, they can be prevented if your opponents act immediately. Being good at defense, they can be used to counter Goblin Barrel or conduct self-explosion behind tankers. Their moving speed is very fast, which requires good judgment to make the most of them.

Guarsd are unlockable from Royal Arena – Arena 7. The above picture shows us it only takes 3 elixirs to summon 3 skeletons with shields, which can absorb the first hit no matter how much damage it is. Without shields, they are quite similar to Skeletons in damage, hitpoints and speed.
 
This card can be used to pull Dark Prince/P.E.K.K.A, which will bring you a positive elixir trade. However, they don’t work well against splash damage units. You had better take advantage of your Arena Tower to counter push the lane.

Lava Hound can be unlocked in P.E.K.K.A’s Playhouse– Arena 4. From the picture above, we can clearly see that Lava Hound is a flying troop with amazing Hitpoints and it can only target Buildings. If you get this card in Arena 4, just use it but be careful of its cost.

Sparky the biggest surprise in the May update! It can do 1300 area damage at level 1. With 1200 hitpoints, it is strong enough to survive from Arrows and Fireball, makeing it an ideal choice to counter swarm decks. It works well with slow tankers (Giant) to push a lane. Also it can be used to protect your Arena Tower.
 
Guards /flying troops can be used to counter it.

Miner is similar to Goblin Barrel, burrowing his underground. For the moment the best strategy to use this card is to work with Goblin Barrel. Before you throw Goblin Barrel, you can use this card to protect them. Also, it can be used to counter Princess.

Recently, WEBZEN announced that the early access signup for its ambitious title THE BEAST will take place in the second week of May. Before the early access starts, they unveiled a Berserker original painting.

Scheduled to be released in mid-May in Korea, touch action mobile RPG THE BEAST has high quality graphics and early control that players just need to touch and swipe to control their characters. It also features PvP mode between players, TAG System with which players could adventure with more than 29 companies, 325 dungeon with rich story and various items and pet/crafting elements.

The berserker is the first character announced by the official. Besides, WEBZEN will unveil assassin(female), mage(female) and knight(male).

If you are on Kickstarter these days, you'll surely notice Chronicles of Elyria, a promising creative sandbox MMORPG developed by Soulbound Studios. The game launched the Kickstarter campaign on May 3rd with a goal to raise $900,000 in 30 days and it seems Chronicles of Elyria is getting a very good start, snatching over $200,000 in a few hours! Moreover, it is still going very strong, getting $494,148 at the time of this writing.

In most other Kickstarters there's a radical drop in backing between the first and second day. Again, in some cases as much as 70%. But in our case, the drop has been a measly 20% and we otherwise continue going strong. This tells me that all the new people who are coming to Kickstarter to learn about CoE are liking what they see. It's not just the core fans that have been following the game for a while. Everyone's liking what they see.

Soulbound Studios hopes they can complete the goal in the first week so they can turn their attention to the stretch goals. Players can expect to see new videos and dev diaries very soon.

There is no doubt that Chests are the most concerned stuff in Clash Royale since you need cards and money to upgrade your card level. Therefore, it is important to know more about different chests: Silver Chest, Golden Chest, Giant Chest, Magic Chest, Super Magic Chest. Let’s take a look at what is inside different Treasure Chests.
 



Notice:
1. The higher your Arena is, the more cards you can get after opening Chest.
2. The Chests you have contains card from lower Arena.
3. If you received Chest in lower Arenas and open it in higher Arena, it will only contain cards from lower Arenas.

The website just lists five game’s concept art, featuring sci-fi theme and the mecha-style characters, but according to our source, Project: The Wild is a new sandbox post-apocalyptic mobile MMORPG that blends role playing, shooting, racing and action gameplay together. The game is set in the wasteland where some havoc takes place and aliens start to attack human. Thanks to the new self-developed 3D engine NeoX, Project: The Wild will provide players  cinematic-level graphics as well as immersive quest system and storyline. 



In addition, Project: The Wild is also a mobile adaption from a famous Hollywood movie which once won several Oscar awards. Although NetEase hasn’t revealed the name, I believe that you smart folks can give me the answer. Yes The Terminator! This is not the first time NetEase bringing popular movie title to mobile game. They once published Kung Fu Panda mobile game on mobile devices. Pre-registration is currently live at the game’s teaser website, but it required Chinese phone number. Right now there is no word on whether this game will be launched in western counties.

After the May 3rd update, Royal Giant deck is going to be one of the meta decks in Arena 7. It was with a very low use rate before the update but after another buff, Royal Giant now has 7-tile attack range, which means he can outrange all the defense buildings in the game. Since many players barely saw Royal Giant in the battle before so some might not know how to counter him effectively. Here are some ways to counter Royal Giant.

1. Use Inferno Tower/Cannons: place it after Royal Giant crosses the river so it will target him. Pay attention to deal with the small troops that might follow Royal Giant.

2. Use Inferno Tower + Barbarians: Same as avove, place Inferno Tower after Royal Giant crosses the river and then play Barbarians to kill the troops surround Royal Giant. After taking them down, use other elixirs to counter push.

3. Mini Pekka: with the high damage, Mini Pekka can take down Royal Giant with a few hits, though your Archer Tower will still receive some damage.

4. Swarms: use Minions, Goblins, Skeletons, Guards etc to encircle Royal Giant, but be careful with your opponent's Arrows or Zap.

5. Using Zap: If Royal Giant is targetting at the Archer Tower, place a building down and then Zap him. He will then retarget at the new building.

Below is a deck that can be played to counter Royal Giant deck.


The main strategy is using buildings (Cannon, Elixir Collector) to tank a few hits from Royal Giant and then place Valkyrie to deal AOE damages to the troops behind Royal Giant. The most annoying troops following him is Barbarians. Here's how to counter them:

Place Cannon closer to the river (though at this time, Royal Giant is attacking our Archer Tower)
 

Place Valkyrie at the same time, in the same position where Royal Giant stands.
 

If Valkyrie being placed in the right place, she will make Royal Giant retarget at your Cannon. If it fails, then use Zap to make him switch the attacking to Cannon.

After killing your opponent's Royal Giant and Barbarians, your Valkyrie should still have half HP, play Spear Goblins to give your opponent a small push.

Today Merge Games and IV Productions announce the release of Yon Paradox for Vive and Oculus, which is available on Steam.


Yon Paradox ​is a first-person survival puzzle game set in a cyber dimension. An antimatter-powered time machine broke, causing periodical time rewinds. Players need to solve riddles to repair the time machine, while avoiding past alter-egos to not create paradoxes.
