Clash Royale: Trying to Win with Baby Troops for Arena 3-4

Hello guys, many beginners asked me to build some powerful deck for lower arena. Therefore I am going to share a f2p Giant deck with you guys. It’s easy to learn and can help you beat higher level players.

My Deck

Card Analysis

Bomber (level 4+): One of my favorite card. Absolutely DESTROYS barbs. It 3 hits barbs of equal level and after the buff should be able to kill +1 level barbs in 3 hits.

Arrrows (level 4+): Ideally they should be played offensively to kill off any small guys that attack your push. However if need be they are great for saving your butt or killing princesses.

Goblins (level 4+): This is A cheap defense card that can deal with most anything that isn’t AoE. Use it to lure troops like Mini pekka and Prince, I rarely use these guys offensively unless there is a close troop.

Archers (level 4+):  3 elixir means they are easy to play. Won't get removed by arrows which means they stick around to help your defense unless the opponent blows fireball on them which is a bad elixir trade. Compare with Minions or Spear gobs which are squelched by arrows. They are often left over after a defense which helps your counterpush.

Minions (level4+): Can be used to defend against smaller threats such as knight, valkyrie, musketeer, can be used behind Mini pekka to inflict some great damage.

Giant (level 3+): This guy is very important, he is your damage soak, the giant’s health to elixir cost ratio is amazing. He really doesn’t need to do damage to the towers even though he hits pretty hard, instead he needs to soak up damage so that your main card can get to the tower unharmed.

Musketeer (level 2+): A really strong troop that is good on defense and offense, if protected. It can kill tanks troops quite quickly and does a lot of damage to towers.

Mini pekka (level 1+): High damage and medium tankability makes this card a favorite of mine. I have used him to take down Giants. He packs a punch with every swing of his sword, and if supported well by Archers or Minions, can be effectively deadly to any enemy crown tower.

Battle Strategy

Mainly use Giant as a tank to soak damage for its following troops. If your opponents make a huge push, you can drop Bomber or Archers behind arena towers or have other troops to tank for them. It’s a cheap Giant deck, you can keep pressuring your opponents with Giant push. Note: if your opponents also use Giant decks, you should finish off its supporting troops first and then you go to deal with Giant.

Match ups

Barbarians – Bomber
Witch/Giant/Knight – Mini pekka
Skeleton Army – Bomber/Arrows
Musketeer – Goblins/Mini pekka
Valkyrie/Bomber - Minions

After the kickstarter campaign successfully ended, Soulbound Studios, the developers of Chronicles of Elyria, have been rather quiet. Something the fans who got used to weekly updtes were soon to point out. They however explained this silence in a forum post a couple of days ago, mentioning that they were still in the process of retrieving the kickstarter funds, and were in communication with international lawyers, all while reassuring players that the weekly updates would resume soon.

And true to their words, the developer journal was updated by Caspian yesterday, providing information about their future plans, including aspects such as production, design, concept art and lore. Caspian also guaranteed that the developer journal would be updated every week, along with monthly newsletters.

Blizzard PERMA-bans Overwatch cheaters

$

Blizzard have been crystal clear about their attitude towards cheaters in Overwatch and it seems that up until now they have stayed true to their word.

A week before OVerwatch launched its open-beta Blizzard made a statement about the use of cheating software (aimbot, wallhack etc).

Their official statement was this:
"If a player is found to be cheating - €”or using hacks, bots, or third-party software that provides any sort of unfair advantage - €”that player will be permanently banned from the game. Full stop."

Blizzard also stressed out that their strict anti-cheating policy shouldn't be used as a tool against players that are just that good at the game. So, that's something to take into account before in your frustration, you report a good payer for cheating.

If you're wondering what an aimbot looks like, check this person out.
He has aimbot program open up until 2:18 when someone notices it and calls him out. The guy then immediately turns it off and you can see how bad his aim becomes from that point on.
That guy also thought that it would be smart to play as Soldier 76 who has auto-aim in his ulti as a way to cover his cheating.

Despite Blizzard's solemn warning though, that guy above and hundred of others thought that they could trick  Blizzard and have it their way.
Unfortunately for them, Blizzard didn' take their transgressions lightly and brought down the
BAN-HAMMER.

Now, if those players want to play again, they will have to purchase a new copy of the game and create a new Battlenet account, so cheating could get pretty expensive.

For the full anti-cheating announcement and details on how to report cheaters, head to this Battlenet post.

Overwatch Guide to Loot Boxes

$
0
0
There is no true progression system in Overwatch. The only benefit to level up is earning Loot Boxes, which is a pretty good benefit. Loot boxes are one of the most sought after items in Overwatch. Each box contains a handful of cosmetic items, which are divided into: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. You should receive at least one Rare item or other item from each loot box you open. These items will be dropped completely random when you open it.

Hundreds of different items are available from loot boxes, including: skins, emotes, victory poses, voice lines, victory poses, sprays, highlight reels, player icons, and credits. Unlike the rest, credits aren't a cosmetic item, but they can be used to buy cosmetic items. They’ll show up in your loot box randomly when you open a loot box. Here we would like to guide you on Loot Boxes.

Skins
This is a good way to personalize your characters and make them stand out, and each skin will persist through all characters animations. Some skins are simple palettes swap, but some ones are added different features to characters, such as the Reys skin for Reaper and the Morrison skin for Soldier: 76; some ones contain rare color variations and legendary skins, such as Safari Winston or Punk Tracer.

Emotes
Taunt your enemies and cheer on your allies with a series of new in-game emotes.
Hit C and then move your mouse to your option.

Voice lines
Chat up your fellow with a variety of new voice lines available through the communications wheel by hitting C and moving your mouse to the correct space.

Victory poses
Strike a pose and tailor how your hero appears in your team after he/she has won a battle.

Sprays
A graphic you can paint onto the wall. Some sprays unlock for all characters, but some ones for specific characters, such as the pink shield is only for Zarya.

Highlight reels
The animation can showcase your characters after you have selected a gameplay.

Player Icons
Customize your player profile with an icon reflecting your favorite character and ability.

How do you get these cosmetic items from loot boxes?
- You can collect loot boxes by earning XP through completing tasks, we have introduced this part in the article: What is the best way to make overwatch credit;

- You can collect loot boxes through earning medals.
Medals are awarded for eliminations, you need to win the match then attain the Medals. The XP for these medals doesn’t stack, so if you receive multiple medals in a match you’ll only get the XP for the highest medal earned, and only once per match.
Bronze Medal: 50 XP
Silver Medal: 120 XP
Gold Medal: 150 XP

- You can purchase more Loot Boxes with real money. You're relying completely on the Random Number God to smile upon you when it comes to skin collecting.

Credits
After opening many loot boxes, you may get a duplicate item. When you do it, the game automatically converts the item into “Credits,” If it is rare item, you will get more credits than common ones. You can use credits to buy all the items except player icons.
If a Loot Box contains an item that is already in your collection, it will instead receive a new in-game currency that can be spent in the Hero Gallery to unlock cosmetic items you have not already own. Credits can also be gained randomly from Loot Boxes - the higher the quality of "credit pile" received, the more credits it contains.

If you want to open a loot box, you can navigate the main menu, click the "Loot Box" option, bring up the Escape menu or click the bright orange "Open Loot Box" button. You can open a loot box at a time, and players will have a chance to preview or equip your new items before moving to the next Loot Box.

All in all, it’s important to note that all of these items are purely cosmetic, which means they won't provide any additional gameplay advantage. However, they will give you a plethora of ways to express yourself within the world of Overwatch.

This week at E3, Telltale confirmed that their most popular and acclaimed episodic-series based on The Walking Dead is coming back this year.

In this first teaser trailer for The Walking Dead Season 3, we can see the return of Clementine, who is now a young teenager, though we do notice she is missing a finger for some reason that I’m sure we’ll get an answer to in the actual game. Accompanied by a male protagonist known as Javier, Stauffer said that pair “have a lot of common goals, if not a lot of common enemies”. Javier is also playable in the game.

The Walking Dead season 3 is slated to arrive later in 2016.

The city in which Huntdown is set has come under gang control with the police desperately lost control. Crime is king, and the authorities put their trust in hired guns to solve the problem. A price is set on each gang leader’s head. In such situation, bounty hunters are called in to take out the gang leaders.

The planned release data for the game is in 2016, maybe more details will be unveiled during E3.
