Blueside, the creator behind Kingdom Under Fire serious, recently held a press conference in Taiwan. During the event, Lee Sang-youn, CEO of Blueside, took an interview by local media and unveiled the future plan of the game.

Kingdom Under Fire 2 is scheduled to hit western market between late 2017 and early 2018 with both PC and PS4 support simultaneously. As for the reason of skipping Microsoft’s Xbox One, Lee Sang-youn stated that PS4 is better for the game with massive battlegrounds, especially considering network issues of the console. Besides, the console version will also be different with the PC version.

In addition to console version, Lee Sang-youn also revealed that Blueside is making Kingdom Under Fire 2 VR title, which will make full use of new in-house engine Blueside 3.0. “VR games require more creativity, therefore directly porting from PC game is far from enough” Lee Sang-youn said.

Elementalist Trailer

In the event, Blueside also teased the fifth class Elementalist can not only use the middle range magic skills, but also summon powerful minions to protect her. There are 4 classes now available in KUF2 namely Gunslinger, Berserker, Spellsword and Ranger. Blueside has a very organized update plan, and new content updates are planned to be added every 4 to 5 months.

Black Desert Korean official site has teased the summer content update with a teaser trailer called "Amazing Adventures". Starting from June 15th, the KR version will get the new content gradually.

Most things have been talked about before, such as legendary unicorn mount Dine
, gigantic ocean boss Vell, and Kamasilve Part 2. There are more but the trailer doesn't specific so we don't know if the "remastered graphics" will be implemented in 2017.

Below are some new screenshots of Kamasilve Part 2.

Recommended MMOs for June 2017

As we don't have any new AAA titles launching this month, it's time to take a look back and revisit some of the most popular MMORPGs and their latest expansions.

This month, at E3 2017,  we will also have the chance to see some new games in action, such as Dark and Light, Destiny 2, War Rage and learn more about the future plans for Neverwinter and Final Fantasy XIV.

Neverwinter

Neverwinter Tomb of Annihilation

After recently breaking the record of more than 15 million players across PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4, Perfect World Entertainment is ready to move further, with their twelfth expansion Neverwinter: Tomb of Annihilation, giving old players a lot of reasons to stick around and also appealing to new ones to at least give it a try.

This month, on July 25, PC players (the Xbox One and PS4 version will be available at a later date) will embark on a new adventure to discover a new biom inside the jungle peninsula of Chult, a journey that will uncover the evil behind the curse that is ravaging Faerun.

The jungle-themed expansion will bring a completely new adventure zone called Soshenstar River and a new social hub, Port Nyranzaru, a well known major trading center for all of Chult.

During the latest streams, we learned that Tomb of Annihilation storyline is a sequel for the Tomb of Horrors that will lead us to a brand new, never before done in a Neverwinter game, end-game dungeon called the Tomb of the Nine Gods. This dungeon will be layered with dozens of traps and puzzles that need to be solved collectively, a feature that will completely change the PVE experience inside a so-called "legendary dungeon".

Other features that made us excited are the comeback of treasure maps, exotic monster hunts where players will work together to unlock the T-Rex called "The King of Spines", a brand new campaign and of course, dinosaur mounts.

Additional details will be revealed in the coming weeks so be sure to keep an eye on the official Neverwinter website.

Star Trek Online Escalation

Star Trek Online Season 13 Escalation

On April 25th Star Trek Online received a new expansion called Escalation. Season 13 brought a lot of changes including a new Featured Episode that will continue the Tzenkethi War story, called Mirrors and Smoke, new War Games, a brand new competitive wargame reputation system and a new PvP type of 5 vs 5 queues, based on player's skills, and it was well received by the PC players.

Now, on June 6th, console players will also discover new missions through two new episodes (Featured Episode - Mirrors and Smoke, and Survivor - the episode of Sela, Empress of the Romulan Star Empire). Start Trek Online Season 13 Escalation also marks the debut of War Games on Xbox One and Playstation 4. In this new system, two teams will fight through various scenarios in order to win different rewards. Unfortunately this feature will not be cross platform, so the rewards can be earned only by playing against other players on the same platform.

These new War Games that will test captain's speed, strength and ingenuity, include three modes:
  • Core Assault - A space based 5 vs 5 Convergence class scenario, where captains race to cross the finish line placed at a station based in the Adelphous System
  • Binary Circuit - A ground based 5 vs 5 Gauntlet class scenario, where captains will have to solve different puzzles and complete various challenges inside a Borg Co-operative Cube
  • Twin Tribulation - A spaced based 5 vs 5 Gauntlet class scenario. In these types of scenarios, captains will not engage in direct battle with the opposite team, but they will race against them to solve the puzzles and defeat enemies. In Twin Tribulation, this race takes place in a holo-constructed version of the Omega Leonis System station.

The War Games queues are designed for level 50-60 players, that are ready to take down the normal, advanced, and elite versions, in order to earn various rewards such as marks, dilithium, and R&D materials.

If you want to learn more about Star Trek Online - Season 13 Escalation, check the official website.

Secret World Legends

secret world legends
With Secret World Legends, FunCom wants to re-imagine the sequel worlds, by taking the core features of what used to be an MMORPG and transition them into a free-to-play, shared world RPG, focusing on the players experience and story.

The story in these mystical worlds will be a modern adventure that will take you all over the world, searching for answers about the mysterious events that took place lately.

Secret World Legends changes are not only conceptual so you can expect several new features and revamped systems such as: a complete overhaul of the combat system, a deeper progression, but with a simplified version, and lots of quests and zones reworked. In terms of graphics, the relaunch version comes with a significant boost for atmospheric lighting, better spell effects, and an increased draw distance.

For character creation, players will now get the chance to actually pick a class from the old trinity system (tank, healer, dps). As the game will still use a two-weapon combat system, expect to see characters that will use pistols and swords, chaos and blood magic, and so on.

Secret World Legends will launch on June 26th (on Steam is expected to arrive in late July) as a free to play title, meaning that everyone will be able to download and play the game without spending any money. The entire content will be available for everyone and will not require a subscription or purchase, meaning that future updates and expansions will also be free.

At launch, the original eight adventure playfields, scenarios, and dungeons will be available immediately, and in the following weeks they will release Tokyu, Nightmare Dungeons, Raids and the rest of the content that is currently live in The Secret World.

If you never tried The Secret World, this month will be the perfect time to give it a go, so be sure to check the official site for more detailed information.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood

Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will launch on June 20 for PlayStation 4 and PC (same day with the new Tomb of Sargeras raid in World of Warcraft Legion), while those who pre-ordered will be able to access the game on June 16. As a standalone expansion, Stormblood is priced at $39.99, while the Complete Edition bundle that contains the base game and both expansions goes for $59.99.

The new expansion will provide a new epic journey into unclaimed lands, new jobs to master, new dungeons and raids, and as usual, a lenghty list of improvements and revamped systems.

Stormblood will bring two new classes (jobs):
  • Red Mage, a true acrobatic duelist specialized in using both magic and melee attacks, combining them in some lightning-fast combos.
  • Samurai, a katana-wielder class that executes different moves to build up "sen", a resource that will be used to unleash a number of different finishing moves. Depending on the type of Sen the finishing blow will apply a damage-over-time effect, a wider area-of-effect damage or a single powerful hit.

With the game's level cap being increased over the years, each job has acquired new abilities, that quickly became overwhelming. In Stormblood, many of these skills have been purged or reworked, to create a more vivid gameplay experience.

Besides the new zones that will make their appearance on June 20, new underwater adventures awaits you thanks to the new swimming and diving mechanic, that opens new frontiers, such as the game;s new dungeon Shisui of the Violet Tides.

For PvP fans, Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood expansion will bring a less clutter, better balance and an overall smoother experience. Each job will now have a different profile for PvP, including specific movesets and a lot of customize support abilities. Later in the timeline, a new PvP mode will be launched, featuring intense battles between two large armies of players.

There are a lot more in-depth changes, so be sure to check the official website and read our preview.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind

Announced back in January 2017, Morrowind is set to be the largest expansion up to date, allowing players to enter the vast region of Morrowind for the first time in Elder Scrolls Online.

The expansion will be released on June 6, 2017 and there are several price points, based on the version you choose to purchase. The Morrowing expansion comes at $39.99, but if you want to acquire both the base game and the expansion in one package you'll have to pay $59.99 (pretty standard prices for today's market). For Collector's Edition you'll have to spend $59.99 for Morrowind or $79.99 if you require both of them.

If you preordered Morrowind, you will be awarded with the Discovey Pack, unlocking the Warden costume, the Dwarven War Dog Pet and special Treasure Maps.

Jumping forward towards the past, or so I feel. Morrowind will be familiar to the fans of the series, but you should expect slightly differences, as the action happens 700 years before the one version that we explored fifteen years ago. Developers wnet back and created the zone based on the exact same footprint of the old version, but even though the land is the same, what's there will be a bit different.

This new chapter comes with a lot of content, including a main storyline, lots of side quests and a major line following the ongoing conflict between the three Dunmer households and the Morag Tong.

The Elder Scrolls Online will also receive its first new class since launch, The Warden, a hybrid class that features three skill lines: Winters Embrace, Green Balance and Animal Companion.

The Warden is like the holy trinity in one single character. Winter's Embrace is a tank build with a decent amount of self-buffs, Green Balance acts as a healer/support with a wide range of healing skills for both aoe and single target, and Animal Companion is its dps skill line, featuring a bear companion and a decent amount of summon skills.

Besides the changes mentioned above, Morrowing expansion will also bring two new dungeons, a brand new 12 man Trial (or raid as we call them in other MMOs), and a new battleground mode featuring 4vs4vs4 combat in three different game types: capture the flag, team deathmatch and domination.

If we caught your attention, be sure to check the official website for more details.

Lineage 2: Revolution

Lineage 2 Revolution

If you are not looking for a long-term commitment, you should check Lineage 2 Revolution, the upcoming mobile MMORPG from NetMarble, based on NCSoft most known franchise.

Revolution is built on Unreal Engine 4, unlocking powerfull graphics that can rival any PC MMORPG. The game features the same world and lore as the original Lineage 2, bringing a fast paced, on-the-go experience for fans of the series.

Lieange 2 Revolution will have three distinct classes: Warrior, Ranger and Mage and four gender-locked races: Human, Elf, Dark Elf and Dwarf. The game features a persistent open world, auto or manual combat system, dungeons, raids, questing, item crafting, auction house, guilds and massive PvP castle sieges.

Lineage 2 Revolution is supposed to launch on June 14, 2017.

Destiny 2 (PS4, XboxOne, PC)

Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is an upcoming MMOFPS developed by Bungie, Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios, that will be the sequel of the well-known 2014’s Destiny. Destiny 2 will be released on September 8, 2017 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, while PC version will be publlished by Blizzard (the first external game to be available through Battlenet).

From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like Destiny 2 will not take a dramatically different approach from the original Destiny, and it will mostly be a refinement of the original version.

Although the long awaited reveal trailer didn’t show any gameplay elements, we’ve learned that The City has fallen under the siege of Ghaul, the brutal leader of a new force called the Red Legion, and that humanity, or what remained from it, was pushed out of its last safe heaven.

Bungie said that Destiny 2 will provide “a story you can relate to” and that you will finally get to care about the characters that will shape your destiny. The game will start with the Cabal invasion of Earth, a memorable battle where you will get the chance to fight alongside Commander Zavala, the Titan Vanguard and other well-known leaders that aren’t just some serving quest givers NPCs anymore.

As with the original Destiny launch, at the beginning, Destiny 2 will feature four different settings, including Earth, but fear not as you will be exploring a new version of Earth. The other locations are: Titan – a moon of Saturn, Io – a moon of Jupiter, and a planetoid called Nessus. Bungie also stated that at the beginning, none of the locations presented in Destiny will return to the sequel.

destiny 2 environment
These new worlds will offer more activities and a larger play space. Character’s that you’ll meet in the world will now send you on side missions called Adventures, where new encounters awaits you with different mechanics and rewards, or challenge you to conquer new dungeons known as Lost Sectors.
Old features will also be present but they will be augmented with new systems and challenges. To avoid splitting the population, this time we will only have one social space. The Farm, located near the European Dead Zone, is humanity’s new home on Earth, following the Tower’s destruction.

The new Travel System will allow players to travel directly between planets without jumping back and forth on the orbit, saving a lot of time. In Destiny 2 all you have to do is open up the Director, where all the destinations and activities are listed, and choose where you want to go or what you want to do next.

In terms of classes, it seems like we are not getting any new ones, but some subclasses are being replaced. Bungie revealed the Sentinel Titan – a subclass geared towards defense and close combat, Dawnblade Warlock – a subclass specially designed for aerial combat, and the Arcstrider Hunter – a subclass focused on different acrobatic moves.

There are more changes coming to Destiny 2 so be sure to check the official site and keep an eye on the E3 announcements that we will cover here, at 2p.

Deep Down (PS4)

Deep Down
An upcoming Playstation 4 action RPG that follows two different timelines, Deep Down was announced by Capcom back in 2013 as a PS4 free-to-play exclusive title, but until now we didn’t get any further details. Developers are saying that the game has expanded far beyond their initial expectations.

Deep Down gameplay was described as being similar with Dragon’s Dogma and Dark Souls, although the game should have a lesser difficulty.

The Tokyo Game Show Demo from 2013 presented some futuristic elements inside the game’s interface, suggesting a device similar with Animus from Assassin Creed.

In 2014, with the release of two new trailers, we learned that the player’s perspective will begin in New York City, year 2094 and will follow the story of Ravens, a group that has the ability to recover historical memories by touching ancient relics. The historical sections of the game (such as the years 1494) will take place in a medieval fantasy setting through procedurally generated dungeons, where up to four players may enter simultaneously.

Hellgate London VR (PC & Consoles)

Hellgate London VR

We all know that Hanbitsoft have stopped developing Hellgate: London 2 back in 2014, but few of us followed the recently announcement for Hellgate: London VR, a prequel to the original shooter that was developed by Flagship and launched way back in 2007.

Hellgate: London VR is a single player game where you will be given the mission to protect a younger version of Jessica Sumerisle (you may remember her as the Templar from the original title) at the beginning of a demon invasion.

The game is developed on Unreal Engine 4, featuring high-end graphics and an immersive horrific atmosphere, and it should be released on both PC and Consoles. Latest intel that we got also points to a Rift/Vive version being in the work as well.

Conqueror's Blade (PC, PS4)

War Rage MMO
Following the success of the last year E3 press conference, NetEase is ready to present Conqueror's Blade which was previously known as War Rage, the western version of Conqueror’s Blade MMORTS.

Conqueror's Blade is an upcoming 3D war MMO, set in ancient China that simulates historic siege warfare and tactics. Some of the key features are:
  • Ancient Chinese setting – players will get the chance to visit the era of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and take part in historical wars
  • Large Scale PvP – massive scale competitive battles and sieges
  • Destructible Buildings – during sieges players will be able to destroy gates and wall with the help of various siege machines as well as blowing up the opposing team arsenal
  • Regions and Bases that can be conquered
  • PVE elements such as event and hidden locations
  • Dynasty Warriors type of combat – you will take command of a valiant commander and fight through hordes of enemies

Unlike Kingdom Under Fire 2, Conqueror's Blade focuses more on the strategic aspect of the massive battles, than just the normal hack-and-slash action. Players will take control of a general (the game’s class system), each with a particular combat style, and they will have to rely on their entire army, composed from different customizable and upgradable troops, in order to emerge victorious on the battlefield.

Environment, or better say knowing the terrain will play a major part in the upcoming battles. Through different battles you will find bridges that can be burnt to cut off following enemies, forest where you can plan your next ambush move, and other similar terrains that will provide a true tactician with unique advantages.

With Conqueror's Blade, NetEase plans to bring an eastern version of Game of Thrones, where the map will cover the entire world of the 15th centuries.

The Crew 2

The Crew 2

Back in May, Ubisfot announced The Crew 2, a sequel to the open-world racing game that was launched in 2014. The game is expected to release during the current fiscal year, so we should be on the road again until March 31, 2018.

We are waiting for E3 to learn more about this future title, as for the moment we only have a logo and the following message: “Beyond the road … Stay with us for more high octane thrills!”

If you can’t wait that long, don’t forget that the original Crew is still online, and a new expansion entitled Calling All Units is now available, letting you play for the good guys, helping the FBI to take down illegal street racers. This DLC that also contain The Crew Wild Run expansion is now on sale for just 8.50 euros (remember that you will need the base game also).

We didn’t get an announcement about the platforms where The Crew 2 will be available, but we don’t think that Ubisoft is planning to change anything here, so we can safely assume that the game will be available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Metal Gear Survive (PS4, Xbox One & PC)

Metal Gear Survive

Another interesting title that will be presented at E3 is Metal Gear Survive, a side story of the well-known Metal Gear Solid V. The story will follows four diamond Dog soldiers, that find themselves in a desolate alternate dimension filled with zombies. Of course, their ultimate goal is to figure out how to survive.

Last time we saw Meta Gear Survive in action was at TGS 2016, were a fifteen minute demo was available, showcasing the game’s new direction that emphasis on teamplay, stealth mechanics, a few tower defense elements and survival aspects.

Metal Gear Survive is a co-op survival action game that features a well-designed open world set in the same universe as The Phantom Pain, with various new elements such as building base defenses against hordes of interdimensional creatures, survival aspects like wound healing on the battlefield, gathering resources to craft various items, and so on.

The story takes place after Big Boss and Miller abandoned the Mother Base, when a wormhole opens above the base sucking everything into a parallel universe.

Metal Gear Survive will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, but there is no mention on the official website about a Nintendo Switch version or if the game will be a full release, digital only or a free-to-play title. Anyway more details will be available soon at E3 2017.

Sea of Thieves (Xbox One & PC)

Sea of Thieves is a co-op action-adventure pirate game, currently developed for Xbox One and PC by Rare. The game is supposed to be published this year by Microsoft Studios.

Players will take the role of a pirate, an avatar they will be able to fully customize by selecting the gender, appearance, physique and outfits. Developers wanted to focus more on player’s skills rather than character stats so no classes or advanced specialization will be available in Sea of Thieves.

What is a pirate without a ship, right? In Sea of Thieves players will be able to craft various types of ships, ranging from a small single person skiff to large galleons full of cannons. The small ships will be all about speed and maneuverability while the big ones will require an entire crew to be really effective. Both pirates and ships will be further upgraded and customized throughout the game.

The world will be divided into different regions, each with their own feeling and adventures. There won’t be any procedural generated maps, but game designers worked hard to create unique and evocative experiences for each zone.

Besides the wilderness that awaits us, there will be a variety of harbors, outposts and cities populated with different NPC merchants and quest givers. It seems like the NPCs will be landlocked, but every sheep you’ll see on the horizon will be managed by at least one other player.

Adventurers will also hunt for buried treasures on various islands, using landmarks to locate the zone where they will start to dig. Uncovering a treasure it’s not enough, as players will need to bring it back to their ship and then sail to a safe port in order to cash in the rewards.

The journey will be filled with pirate vs pirate action, as outside the safe harbors, players will be able to attack and steal treasures from other ships. The dangers of being ambushed while carrying a treasure will encourage players to build stronger ships and form crews.

Sea of Thieves should be released in 2017, but Microsoft Studios has not specified a release date yet. Fingers crossed for an announcement at E3 2017.

Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath (Xbox One & PC)

Path of Exile The Fall of Oriath
The Fall of Oriath expansion includes six entirely new acts, which brings hours of content and a new Phanteon system to explore. This time around you’ll need to kill several gods to unlock it, encouraging players to explore levels completely. There are 16 new gods in this expansion, each with a unique power that will allows players to activate various bonuses.

From what we saw so far, The Fall of Oriath brings at least the same level of content at the rest of the game, with big maps to explore, side quests to keep your from grinding all day, and our favorite part, challenging boss fights.

Throughout the expansion you’ll face 24 boss fights, many of them featuring a multi-stage encounter. In the early days of Path of Exile, boss fights were pretty straightforward, but this is not the case anymore. As you can see in the video below, bosses now have unique mechanics that will challenged even the most hardcore players.

The journey to the Atlas of Worlds has been altered drastically. After completing Act 1 through 5, you will no longer need to repeat the same story to reach end-game, as Cruel and Merciless Difficulty were removed in order to add Act 6 through 10. So now your journey will be a one to ten act playthrough.

Durango (Mobile)

Durango
A few days ago Nexon announced that Durango will be available at E3 2017 and a global launch is expected for Q4 2017. This mobile open world, sandbox MMORPG set in a primitive alternate universe inhabited by dinosaurs is one of my favorite mobile games, so I pray that Nexon will manage to keep it away from the p2w genre.

Durango is a true sandbox mobile MMORPG, giving players the freedom to pursue various goals, while trying to survive in a harsh environment. After finishing the introductive story, you’ll jump right into the action, fighting to survive while searching for a place to settle down. You’ll need to harvest food, craft materials, tools and weapons, and even hunt or tame wild dinosaurs.

Once settled now, it’s time to explore the main island, and the entire network of subsequent islands that will allow you to gather rare or more advanced resources. Durango was the first game that felt similar with other PC survival titles.

If you want to learn more about this game, be sure to check our Durango: Survival Guide that was available for the last beta phase, and keep an eye for Nexon at E3 2017.

After major announcements like Doom and Fallout VR, Bethesda shifted gears to The Elder Scrolls: Legends. The company is bringing the free-to-play card game Elder Scrolls Legends to iPhone and Android phones. Additionally, a new Skyrim expansion is coming to the title this June.

The new expansion Heroes of Skyrim update is launching on June 29, adding 150 new cards to the game that introduce new mechanics like Shouts and plenty of dragons. Familiar heroes from Skyrim are also making a comeback, including Aela the Huntress, J'Zargo, and Delphine.

Hearthstone’s Next Expansion Might Be Return of the Lich King

$

Following the Un’goro expansion, Hearthstone players have not stopped speculating what will come next. Recently, a reddit user named Penguin12 posted some reasons about why the next expansion is most likely “Return of the Lich King”.

Firstly, four months ago, Blizzard registered a GoDaddy domain at the same time as filing the Return of the Lich King trademark. Since the trademark of previous Hearthstone expansion Wrath of the Old Gods, Blizzard have always registered an accompanying website domain to stop anyone else stealing it.

Moreover, the last two card backs that players have been able to acquire have been related to Arthas’ journey to become the Lich King. May’s card back was related to the Sunwell, the place where Arthas revived the sorcerer Kel’Thuzad, while June’s card back links to Dalaran, which Arthas destroyed after summoning the demon lord Archimonde. If July’s card back related to Northrend or Icecrown Citadel, it’s pretty likely that Return of the Lich King will be the next Hearthstone expansion.

What do you think will be the next expansion? Leave a comment below to tell us.

As we come to a close on Day 2 of E3, Sony Games started its big press conference, revealing new content, trailers, and more for games like God of War and Spider-Man. In addition, Sony also announced a branch of new games for its virtual reality platform. Let's see what Sony has brought for us to enjoy.

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim VR

As if Skyrim on Switch, Skyrim for Elder Scrolls: Legends and paid mods for Skyrim wasn't enough Skyrim for 2017, Sony's E3 conference had a new trailer for Skyrim VR. The game is coming to PSVR in November 2017.

Skyrim VR is a first person action game set in the original Skyrim world, featuring the entire game and reimagines the complete epic fantasy with an unparalleled sense of scale, depth and immersion.

Final Fantasy XV Monster of the Deep

Square Enix is doing a virtual reality fishing game spinoff of Final Fantasy XV, dubbed Monster of the Deep, and it's due out this September for PlayStation VR.

The trailer shows a person, as Noctis, fishing up various creatures. At one point, he even goes underwater.

The Inpatient

Supermassive Games, the creator behind Until Dawn, showed off Inpatient, a new VR game which takes place in the same world as Until Dawn. It provides extremely horror experience and creepy environment in a mental asylum.

More details about Inpatient will be revealed at E3, and the game is scheduled to release sometime in 2018.

Star Child

Playful, the developer behind Rift’s hit VR game Lucky’s Tale, showed its latest PSVR game Star Child at Sony’s press conference today.

Star Child looks like a third person adventure game that aims to take the genre we grew to love with Mario on traditional screens and take it much further than Lucky’s Tale in VR. It is described as an “immersive new sci-fi platform adventure” in the teaser video’s description.

Bravo Team

Until Dawn developer Supermassive is also working on a PlayStation VR shooter called Bravo Team.

Bravo Team is a PSVR FPS game featuring storytelling and character building. Now there is no word on whether this game will support Aim controller.

Moss

Polyarc announced a virtual reality game named Moss. It’s a third person action platformer in which you can play as a small white mouse with enormous ears and deal with puzzles and fearsome enemies.

Dreadnought Review- A Galactically Unique MOBA

$

0

Game Info:

Dreadnought is a 5 vs 5 battle arena style game with spaceships developed by Greybox for both PC and PS4. Each team's main goal is to defeat the opposition by shooting everyone down until there's no one left. Throw in some missiles and abilities and you are given some great tools for mayhem.

Gameplay:

The game is very “pick up & play”. When you 1st start you are introduced the great Captain Bix, who talks you through how to make your metal mass of death move through the air. From there you then learn how to start shooting and destroying ships. The tutorial is fairly straightforward giving a basic knowledge of movement and how to tell your teammates that you spotted some sneak trying to flank you so he can try to poke you from behind. The game does come with controller support but with this being a new feature it's not fully explained on what button does what, so you may find that you turn on the windscreen wipers when you ment to launch Armageddon onto some unfortunate sap that just happened to warp into your cross hair. They are easy picked up by time you've played a few matches but you do find yourself swapping from keyboard to joypad to make choice in menus.

The gameplay will seem somewhat familiar to those that have played World of Tanks and other Space Battle Arena games. The unique thing about Dreadnought is that most of the ships are equally good or equally bad, depending on your view of things so most players are evenly matched, most of the time. The game supports many different play-styles as you can play a vital healer that reapplies the paintwork and bashes out the dents, the tactical long range sniper that finishes off targets that try to sneak up on your team, or the Aggressive Dreadnought Captain that screams in battle. No matter which way you play the game, you feel that you can make a considerable contribution to your team and win the battle depending on how nice the Matchmaking Gods are on you, like with every other MOBA. One thing that stood out for me as a player is not needing to be on the offence all the time. I enjoy playing the support role, keeping my team in good health and throwing out the odd buff when needed, and this game, unlike many others offers that.

Match wait times vary depending on the time of day that you play. There are always a few people in the game's official Discord channel that makes teaming up with people a lot easier than in some games. It's also a great place to pick up some pointers and tips. Most times you do get to have a good game and players tend to be quite friendly ( Thank God ).

As stated before the game is very easy to pick up and play and is well suited for a casual gamer, but don't let that fool you into thinking this game is going to just let you grab your biggest boomstick and wave you farewell as you head out to cause genocide. There is much here for the more serious gamer. There is plenty of unlocks to be had as you progress through the ranks of Sanitation Officer to Warmongering God. As you play you gain reputation during matches. This is then tallied up then used to progress your player. Unlocking lots of fabulous goodies from bigger guns to even more massive metal boxes of death. You even have officer briefings to unlock, which are extra abilities that give you buffs to your weapons, engines or even allow you to avoid damage. All equipment & ships have their own individual stats and you can mix and match to find something to suit your play-style.

Graphics:

Graphics-wise the game is amazing and extremely beautiful. Rarely will you see a game with this much detail attention to how your ship  looks. The textures used in game are of high quality with little to no pixelating when up the fights get up close and personal. The particle effects are very high quality yoo and give you a great feel . The maps have been given as much love and attention as the ships. Each map feels unique and offer different strategies to how the battle will play out. From the sniper's dream of the long range offerings of Rings of Saturn to the “White of their Eyes” closeness of the Kappa Base. There are also night variations of certain maps to mix things up a bit.

Pros & Cons:
Pros
  • Beautiful Graphics;
  • Nice Gameplay;
  • Lots of Features;
  • Awesome Details;
  • Nice Community;
Cons
  • Gameplay can be very slow and may be boring for some;
  • It's those games you either like or hate;
  • There are some things that need a few touch ups.

To this end I find Dreadnought to be a very enjoyable game and highly recommend it to other players. Whether you are new to this style of game or a seasoned professional gamer, there is definitely something here for you

The Best Overwatch RIP-OFF So Far

$

We all know about Overwatch's huge success, so it's only natural that there are and will be other gaming companies which will try to imitate it and opt to profit from Overwatch's fame. And no, I'm not referring to games such as Paladins and Battleborn who just belong to the same genre, but they are actually quite different from Overwatch.  I'm talking about some cheap rip-offs which are coming out  and are basically cloning Overwatch from scratch. their big difference though is:

- That those are free-to-play

- They are playable on mobile

- They are filled with microtranscations

One such game which came out a few months ago was a game called Legend of Titan which wasn't just similar to Overwatch, it was Overwatch. The developpers went as far as to use the same textures for character and maps and the result was this:
Actual gameplay footage from Legend of Titan

But the actual clone that I want to talk today is way different, in fact I would describe it as hilarious at least. I first saw about that clone in Alpharad's video. And it cracked me up.

The game is described as Hero Shooter, however it isn't playable yet, it is more of a showcase for a game concept. There are some heroes, some maps and some backstory to go with it. It is unsure if this will ever go live as it is too soon to make guesses, but if it ever does I will undoubtlely play it!

You should watch the video above to get a thorough understanding, but in case you don't want to. I have prepared for you some screenshots of the roster's funniest and most iconic characters. By the way, the characters' names and backstory are the glorious result of Google translation which make those character even more hilarious.

From the thumbnail as you can see, we have the first Overwatch inspired character, Mc Cree's distant cousin, ranger Jenny.

(Not Mc - Cree)

Moving on, we have Sephiroth from....WAIT what?! Where is his ridiculously long katana. I call fake, probably he realized that his sword was impractical and decided to master the art of throwing knives.

(Not - Genji?)

Next, my personal favorite  from this roster, Soldier 9257.
Seriously WTF?!
Did they want so badly to add a number next to him so they picked the most random number ever and BAM....there you have him.

(Not - Soldier 76)

With all those heroes gathered, the game's roster couldn't miss an archer character so they invited Hawkeye from the Avengers.
Not even gonna comment on his name!

(Not - Hanzo?)

Did you know that Mercy had once cloned herself in order to have an assistant, but the clone turned out a little dumb, to the point that she was forgetting to wear pants, so Mercy ditched her. Well fear not, because Mercy's clone, Sofia found her way into a new team which loves herand respects her.

(Not - Mercy)

This one actually looks like a legit skin that Blizzard can make for D.Va. As Alpharad mentions in his video it could be named "Streamer D.Va". And it actually looks pretty legit with the headphones and all.

(Not - D.Va)

So remember Hawkeye from before, turns out that this game has a second member of the Avengers as well, Black Widow.
Don't be fooled by her appearance, it's still her.

(Not - Widowmaker)

Panta the Panda....
*Bursts in laughter*

(Not - Winston)

And finally we have Don Quixote who I actually like as a design, even though his skills are basically copied ftom Reindhardt.

(Not - Reindhardt)

Compared to Legend of Titan, I have to say that this game at least tried to be different in some ways and it turned out really funny. So,CHEERS for the effort!

Jokes' aside though, all those Overwatch's clones on mobile  prove that there is an actual demand for that kind of games on mobile devices so it makes me wonder if Blizzard will ever decide to invest into it and release, maybe not Overwatch exactly, but a similar game for cellphones, Until then though, I am pretty sure that Overwatch has nothing to fear from those clones.

Be sure to write in the comments your personal favorite from that roster and why.

SINoALICE Review: A Mobile RPG From Nier Automata Director

SINoALICE.

Nier: Automata, a game that created much excitement and lived up to  this year. It has definitely been one of the most anticipated games that was launched this year. And guess what? It gets better. Square Enix in association with Pokelabo has developed and published the mobile fantasy RPG SinoAlice. With the game coming from the same developers as that of Nier: Automata it it has definitely raised the standards of expectations. But has it been able to live upto it and deliver a game which is a stand out from the others? This article explores the various pros and cons of the newly launched SinoAlice while also exploring the various other features of the game.

INTRODUCTION.
Cinderella, Hansel, Gretel and Snow White. All of these are names that we can easily associate ourselves with and SinoAlice basically revolves around the fairy tales set in each of these stories with the aim of resurrecting the author of the stories Players will get to choose one of the famous fairy tale and play the game while engaging in real time combats from players across the globe. The game also features a myriad of weapons to choose from and each weapon has a story to tell, this also means that you will get to play the stories of almost 150 weapons. Let’s take a closer look at certain key features of the game before we move into the pros and cons of SinoAlice.

GRAPHICS

Quite easily one of the most attractive features in this game is the graphical element involved in it. The characters have been beautifully designed and is very visually appealing to the player. The colourful elements are quite obvious during combat and is extremely fun to watch. In addition to this, the attention to detail given to the weapons is also phenomenal. This is primarily because of the fact that the game has a dedicated story attached to every single weapon that is used, therefore they have paid a great deal of attention to making sure that the weapons look extremely powerful and majestic.

SOUNDTRACK
Keiichi Okabe. Does that name ring a bell? The soundtrack to this game has been composed by the same person who had done it for the ever famous Nier:Automata. And by God, the music in this game is just phenomenal and gives you the chills. It has a brilliant soundtrack which is sort of adapted to the situation of the game. The loading pages features a soundtrack which seems to be more nostalgic and poignant. While the background score during combats etc. is one which is sure to get you off your feet. So for all the gamers out there, please don’t play this game without listening to the soundtrack because it would be a total loss. Hats off to the composer for the brilliant job on the sounds.

TUTORIAL

This is one key aspect on which the developers could have put in a lot more attention. Considering the initial language barrier and the various complexities of the game, it would have been very useful in putting forward an extensive tutorial covering all the aspects of the game. You will have to struggle quite a bit for the first time before you slowly get the hang of the game.

PROS
  • The game features a Real Time turn based battle mode which makes it quite fun to play. Players will have to carefully plan out their moves within the given time period and use the special skills at the exact right moments so that they can gain an upper hand over their enemy and win the combat.

  • The weapons system and the total number of weapons which have been made available are yet another powerful addition to the game. With each weapon having a story of its own players can spend a considerable amount of time unlocking these weapons (almost 150) and knowing the secrets behind them.

  • The characters have been beautifully designed and the game surely will help bring a nostalgic effect with its brilliant music and stories which are revolved around fairy tales.

  • The soundtrack which is composed by Keiichi Okabe is definitely going to be one of the main reasons why this game will be successful. It is unique to the style of game and is definite to send chills down your spine.
CONS
  • It is extremely difficult to get to the actual game. It is quite natural that every new game which is launched will have some set of drawbacks or the other but in this game, it’s just massive. The servers are almost always busy or overloaded. The servers are then disconnected because of maintenance and this happens quite frequently. Considering you get past these obstacles then the next thing that stands in your way is the ‘loading’ icon which takes forever to disappear. There are almost three to four different loading pages and sometimes the game just gets stuck at this particular page. You will have to restart the game three or four times before it can properly connect to the servers and get past all the loading pages. The game also crashes quite frequently and you will have to go through the entire process again. Hopefully all these issues are resolved soon so that players can have an uninterrupted and quick access to the game.

  • A more detailed tutorial would have helped players understand the mechanisms of the game quite easily. This is also a necessity considering that the game is currently available in Japanese and would take quite some time before it is launched globally.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.
 ANDROIDIOS
VERSION4.4and above.IOS 8.0 and above
RAM2 GB RAM2 GB RAM
STORAGE90 MB90 MB

VERDICT.

If we look past the various issues that are present in the game and hope that they will be rectified soon by the developers the game can be given a rating of 7/10 after taking all the other aspects into consideration (Especially the soundtrack).

Have Fun gaming!
