PWE's New Game Livelock Is Like a Diablo with Guns

Perfect World Entertainment presented a playable demo of Livelock at E3 2016 to press. The game is an action-packed top-down shooter coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year. The demo features a 3-man co-op mission that requires you to work together to fight the way to the boss.

Each class can switch between 3 different guns and make use of 3 abilities including an ultimate ability. Shooting waves of enemies and avoiding traps keep you moving all the time. Timing and positioning matter in the game in addition to teamwork. The game is not just about shooting enemies, it requires you to constantly use your class abilities to stay alive and gain advantage. All these make the combat very intense and like a Diablo with guns. There are multiple difficulty levels, and similar to Diablo 3, you'll unlock higher difficulty level when you beat the previous difficulty level.

Other than the campaign mode, there's a survival mode where you'll face against waves of enemies. The game's lead designer Kevin Neibert confirms that they don't plan to add players versus players to the game.

Clash Royale: Weekly Recommended Decks for All Arena Tiers 6.17

$
0
0
Hello guys, today is Friday. As usual, I will bring you weekly recommended decks for all arenas. Choose your favorite deck and climb to higher Arena with it.

Spawner Deck (Arena 5+)

Spawner dceks and Minion Horde appear a lot in recent season making Baby Dragon an ideal option to use again. Also Baby Dragon can be used to deal with Hog Rider + Goblins. With the help of Minions, Baby Dragon can cope with the popular Balloon decks.

Mini P.E.K.K.A is extremely useful against almost any opponent and it appears in most decks. Therefore an increasing number of players are using Barbarians to deal with it.

Poison + Zap is the best AoE combo, helping to control your deck. Obviously, Zap is hands down the best spell card in the game. It inflicts damage super fast and has a 1 second stun effect. What makes it the best is that it only costs 2 Elixir and can almost always grant you value. Although it cannot one shot Minions/Minion Horde at the same level, we still have Baby Dragon/Minions/Spear Goblins to help with that. After Freeze got nerfed in the May update, Poison has gained popularity.

Giant + Witch Deck (Arena 5+)

In most strategic games, tank + range troops are most useful tactics. Of course, this strategy apply to CR.

Another Giant + Witch deck for beginners under arena 5. Click here.

Lava Hound + Balloon Deck (Arena 6+)

Compared with other legendary cards, Lava Hound gains little attention. Since Lava Hound is the only tank in this deck, it’s important to upgrade Lava Hound’s level, which means it’s difficult for f2p players.

Similar to Giant + Balloon combo, the flying Lava Hound is better than Giant for it won’t be attacked by ground target troops. The high HP Lava Hound and high DPS Balloon complement each other. It’s easy to push for 3 crown wins with this deck.

Mini Pekka is able to deal with all ground troops except Barbarians and Minions + Spear Goblins can take care of air troops. After several debuffs, Elixir Collector still in the list of top 10 popular cards.

Compared with Poison, Fireball is more suitable in this deck for it can shut down enemies immediately and win a few seconds for Balloon.

Another Lava Hound deck. Click here.

Poison Miner Deck (Arena 7+)

Miner is dubbed as Princess killer and arena tower terminator. And now miner can also be used to take out elixir collector. Miner decks require precise timing and positioning. Poison is good at controlling the pace of the game by slowing down troops.

The battle strategy of playing this deck is to gain mastery by striking second, which means you should use Mini pekka/Minions to defend first and then counter push, or you can drop princess at the very back of your arena tower and then drop Miner to distract your opponents’ arena tower. Cannon has got nerfed for 4 times, however it still in the list of top 10 popular cards because it can distract Royal Giant/Hog Rider and grant players a positive return.

Royal Giant + Sparky Deck (Arena 7+)

With amazing DPS, Sparky needs 5 seconds to charge and the process maybe interrupted by Zap.  Also Poison, a nice solution to Sparky, now appears a lot in TV, making Sparky in a dilemma. And both Royal Giant and Sparky will be quickly taken out by Minion Horde.

In order to solve the problem listed as above, I have Princess and Ice Wizard in my deck. The best offensive combo should be Royal Giant + Sparky + Princess/Ice Wizard. If your opponents have Ice Wizard, you should drop Royale Giant and Sparky in different lanes.

Tesla is the only defensive building in this deck. It can take care of both ground and air troops, making it better than cannon.

That’s all. Thanks for your reading. Enjoy your weekends!

1979 Revolution: Black Friday Releases to Worldwide Mobile Audiences Today

Familiar to controversy, iNK Stories’ new narrative adventure game 1979 Revolution: Black Friday releases to worldwide audiences through the AppStore Store on June 16, 2016 -- following a government mandated ban in Iran.

The App store release is a landmark milestone for 1979 Revolution: Black Friday as it allows for worldwide accessibility of this universally relevant story --- which was designed for the very intuitive gameplay experience on the mobile platform.

The developer claims the plot is based on a real story. The protagonist, Reza, is from a wealthy family. He studied abroad in Germany. When he came back to Iran, he almost came across the ongoing revolution by accident. Iran was not it once was anymore. After seeing what he saw, he decided to participate in it. Whereas, his involvement troubled him with countless dillemmas, compelling him to pick sides. On one hand there is his brother, on the other are his friends and cousin. You choices affect how the game progresses.

This game does not pick a political side nor try to preach you liberal democracy. Instead, it tells you the paradox and contradiction existed in the revolution, making the choices hard to make. Ideal is idealistic because it is not reality. The moment when you threw the stone, it changed you forever. Is violence necessary? Is family more important than ideal? Is life more important than freedom? Would you sacrifice the 1/3 for the other 2/3? You are the one to answer these questions that we are still unable to answer today.

Key Features

Critical Choices - The choices you make will shape your experience in the Revolution, and the fates of those around you -- both in the present and the future.

Key Collectables - Discover and unlock 80+ unique stories that color and enhance your experience of the Iranian Revolution: including primary sources like archival videos, home movies, graffiti, photographs and more.

Fantastic Auction House Silver Making in Tree of Savior

$
0
0
In Tree of Savior Auction House offers a very aggressive approach to trading. This approach requires a great deal more users’ interaction to sell an item than one might otherwise expect. Most players sell unwanted items which are probably used to merely to NPC avatars who stand around in city shops. Auctions are much different, but they can make a fabulously wealthy player in almost no time compared to the traditional ways of raising cash.

Selling Items for Big Money in Auction Houses
In some aspects, the process is much like selling an item in the market. Anyone who wishes to participate in an auction has to first visit an Auctioneer NPC. These characters are located conveniently right next to the main market grounds in each city. The orientation of the building itself might change a bit, but it generally looks the same. When administrators make changes to the default patch and the look of the building shifts somewhat. It's a good idea to keep an eye out in order to avoid missing anything.

Sellers will have to register their items. This process is the same as those who were selling items to the market instead of auctioning them off. Once they've been registered, the seller needs to figure out how much tree of savior silver they want to make from the item. Make sure that any demands here are reasonable. Players won't pay ridiculous prices for something that isn't worth it. They'll also be a bit suspicious if something really valuable is being sold for very low prices.

When setting up an auction sellers have several different options to set:
A buy it now price
A starting bid price
Minimum bid increments
The duration of the auction

Anyone who has used an actual online auction site will have no trouble figuring out these options. For those who might be a bit new to this, the starting bid is the absolute minimum that someone will have to pay for the item if they bid on it. The duration controls how long the Auctioneer NPC will let other players bid on the items. Players can always use the buy-it-now option to pay a specific fixed price for an item. The minimum bid increment specifies how much another person has to bid over their competition to get listed as the highest bidder in the auction.

Auctioneer NPC avatars will take care of everything else once these options have been set. This is the key to making a great deal of money, since these avatars will generally be able to fetch a much higher price than the market can if an item is interesting. Strangely the official Tree of Savior documentation glosses over most of this information.

Selling Unique Items
Another thing that the official documentation seems to ignore is the fact that crafted items can be sold in the auction house. Some items are exclusive to crafters, and many of these items are unique to a specific class. This means that many players will be more willing to pay higher prices for these. Some character classes can make very rare unique items that will fetch high profits.

Players who want to completely exploit this fact will probably want to opt for the Fletcher class, since blessed holy arrows are hard to come by. Beginning players especially will need these to take out certain bosses. They'll have no choice but to buy them from an auction.

In the auction house valuable items that monsters drop generally sell for around 500,000 tos silver pieces. One of the easiest ways to get rich very quickly is to immediately take all of that loot to the nearest auction house and sort it by level. In theory a mat at level 60 can actually sell for over 1,500,000 silver pieces.

Dealing with Taxes and Fees
Tree of Savior has a tendency to hurt free account players who are trying to get rich in this fashion. Tax on market sales isn't covered in the auction. This means that those who make a lot of money might have to pay a great deal. Paid accounts that carry a token are only on the hook for 10 percent of what they make in an auction, but free account players will have to pay up to 30 percent in fees.

The only way around this for free users who are unwilling to upgrade their account is to start many small auctions at once. This will result in net taxes that are overall lower than if the player had created a single auction and won a great deal of money in it.

Turning Things Off for a Bit
Even though this is the fastest way to get rich in the game, there is one caveat that will slow most players down. Game rules stipulate that silver from the Auction House can't be deposited in a character account until 48 hours after the auction ends. Despite this being a major game mechanic, it's either unknown to most players or ignored.

While you could continue to grind while waiting for payment, there is a practical limit as to how many auctions you can have end at once. Therefore it's sometimes actually best to wait for a bit before continuing with the game. Logging an account out can therefore paradoxically actually make the process faster.

Making Large Amount of Money
Balance out auctions with wise use of the marketplace. While valuable items might fetch around 500,000 silver pieces in the Auction House, worthless ones won't. Therefore selling worthless ones to NPC shopkeepers is generally a better idea. Some players take the money they earn this way and scour the auction lists for valuable items that got ignored by other players. They then scoop these up and sell them at a later date. Think of it as a medieval fantasy version of eBay.

Regardless of what techniques players use, they generally quickly find that these auctions are an excellent way to get rich in Tree of Savior very quickly. In case you do not have available time to study the market, you can consider buy tree of savior gold (TOS Gold Kaufen) from Mmogah site and also they havepower levelingservice for your choice.

Crowfall, Minotaur Myrmidon And Gameplay Mechanics Revealed

Things seem to be getting busier for the Crowfall development team as they are putting more effort into providing the community with more information about the title. Following the announcement of a 12-hour long live stream on June 27, they had an interview with WorthPlaying.

During the interview, J. Todd Coleman, Creative Director of Crowfall, revealed some information about one of the archetype of the game, namely the Minotaur Myrmidon. He also added that they've removed a hurdle that is unfortunatly present in most MMOs, i.e. a level-grind that is required to access the endgame.

Most MMOs present a huge “level grind” as a hurdle before you can get to the endgame content, which means that the developers are creating all this great stuff that most players never see – because most people don’t have the time or patience to invest a few thousand hours killing NPC orcs and rats.

We removed that hurdle completely. We don’t have the traditional “fight monsters to gain experience to level, so you can participate in the endgame” as mechanic. You get in the game, and immediately you can start amassing glory, wealth or power.

Landmark's Latest Patch To Tackle High Priority Bugs

If you are used to joining MMOs right at the time of their launch, then you are probably familiar with the fact that these are often accompanied by performance issues and bugs (usually due to large numbers of players connecting to the servers), and then followed by fix patches. Landmark was no exception to this rule.

Hardly surprising considering all the previous issues the game suffered from, and that it wasn't even intended to be a complete game by itself. We must however give Daybreak Games some credit for fixing a number of the high priority bugs quite quickly, something that should reassure players regarding the future of the title. Let's just hope that these changes will give players a better impression of the game which unfortunately has Mostly Negative review on Steam at the moment.

Clash Royale has been all about choosing your best combination or deck thatis most likely to win.

This battle strategy will ensure you victories at Arena 4. However it hasn’t given me luck at thebeginning of Arena 5.

Battle Deck:

Spear Goblins + Valkyrie + Minion Horde + Giant + Fire Spirit + Baby Dragon/Barbarians + Arrows
+Minions

Use and role of each card:
1.Spear Goblins:

The role of the spear goblins are two fold in this strategy. As this is a combination strategy it is important to send the troops together. I would suggest sending your spear goblins behind your giant. The giant will soak up all the damage while the spear goblins can cause damage. Use them every time you want to cause a decent damage.

Like I have mentioned in my previous articles as well your main use with this card should be to take out those flying units(Minions,Baby dragon etc.) however, you can us

Final Fantasy XIV Still Has No Plan for Xbox One But the Discussion Will Go On

Microsoft announced Xbox Play Anywhere feature at E3 2016, allowing cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10 for selected games. This brought back the discussion of Final Fantasy XIV's Xbox One version. FFXIV's producer Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that Microsoft has reached out the FFXIV team but he also confirms after E3 that currently there's still no plan to release FFXIV on Xbox One.

MMORPG.com got formal response from Naoki Yoshida regarding the topic. "Now, cross-platform play was announced for the Xbox One, but long story short, we still do not have plans to bring FFXIV on that platform right now," Yoshida said. "They informed us of the regulations associated with it, but few of the items were critically detrimental to running an MMORPG on cross-platform. In their current form, these regulations make it difficult for us to support the platform, and that’s where we currently stand," he pointed out.

However, the discussion between Square Enix and Xbox will continue in a positive way.

TERA: Chinese Server to Shut Down in August

Recently, Kunlun Games, the Chinese publisher of Bluehole's action MMORPG TERA, announced that they are going to shut down the China servers in 2 months, on August 18th. TERA entered into open beta on December 11th, 2014 in China but after less than 2 years, the game is going to sunset. No specific reasons were given by Kunlun Games but some analysts said it is mainly because of the late releasing time and lack of endgame contents. Also, players are not happy with how Kunlun Game operated TERA in China.

Similar to the China server, TERA wasn't doing well in the Korean server as well but it is improving its performance after Nexon took over the game in the beginning of the year.

Gamigo Games Have Switched To Soccer Mode!

$

Tacklings and back-heel tricks, amazing saves and bicycle kicks – to celebrate the UEFA European Championship, the gamigo games are ready to play the "Joga Bonito" (the beautiful game) again as well!

Soccer is a simple game – that is not only true in the stadium but also in Fiesta Online where Ming heartily invites everyone to join the Kingdom Quest soccer tournament again! Starting every two hours, up to eight players will be divided into two teams. Everyone can join in, from level 1 up to level 125. The individual matches are spiced up with gimmicks: players can gain bonuses to reach their goals even faster or activate shields to fend off attacks. The winning team will receive five coins which they can bring to Ming to get special rewards. The losers will also get a coin as a consolation prize.

"The art of wing play" takes on a completely new meaning in Dragon’s Prophet where players can look forward to some cool specials: since June 9th, the EM bazaar offers a selection of jerseys and dragons matching the colors of the participating soccer teams. So if players are not content with sporting their favorite team's colors in real life, why not fly the flag in Auratia as well? Players can also get chilled Guilles beer that guarantees an increased drop-rate for two hours and a loot-collecting pet – looking like a football – that will follow players around like the ball does Christiano Ronaldo's foot.

The footballs roaming through Last Chaosare not quite as obedient. Between June 8th and July 13th, players will encounter football monsters instead of cute pets. Once defeated, these monsters will drop ordinary or golden footballs which can be swapped for lucky boxes containing precious items, e.g. flags that let players "bet" on which team will triumph in Paris on July 10th.

The substitutes' bench is no place forOtherland's cyberpunk worlds Mars and LambdaMall. Numerous challenging events will offer players the chance to win football-themed top hats to cheer on their favorite team in style. More info can be found in the forum.

The Rats, being no spoilsports themselves, rush forward with a number of fluffy special offers. The good-natured gnawers have decided to become their team's cheeseleaders and grant players generous discounts for cheese, items and skills as well as handy gadgets like more effective poisons or doubled rat souls. The discounts are available throughout July.

In Kings and Legends, opportunities to score are created by the minute: one-on-ones in the arena, the solo campaign, the challenge hall and the battlements offer players the chance to win pouches full of colored footballs. These balls can be traded for special items that will definitely be more useful than some old European Championship trophy.

Players of War 2 Glory commonly shoot with almost everything but footballs – but from the 10th to the 19th of June, in true European Championship spirit, players can at least find and collect footballs while raiding and conquering swamps, grasslands, mountains or forests and trade their findings for useful stuff like battle encyclopedias, experience points or blueprints.

Cultures Online offers players the opportunity to enjoy the thrills of the football tournament even between games: during the long-term event accompanying the European Championship 2016, it does not matter whether the German defense stands firm. Only German goals count because players will receive 50% more experience points for every goal that the German team manages to score (up to a maximum of 300% additional XP). Goals will be counted from Friday to the following Thursday and the respective event will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

[Exclusive Interview] NetEase Games Will Bring More Established IPs to the West

China's leading game developer and publisher NetEase Games officially came to E3 for the first time by hosting a conference on June 15. NetEase Games North America teased a dozen of new games that are coming to the western market at the conference. We took the opportunity to interview Riten Huang, General Manager of NetEase Games North America, trying to learn more about the company's games and plans for the western market.

Riten Huang, General Manager of NetEase Games NA
Thanks for joining us today. First of all, could you give western players an overview of NetEase NA?

NetEase North America is focused on two main areas. One is localizing games developed in China for western markets. The other also is the development of our own games based on the audience and market research of local markets. We have 35 employees in the San Francisco Bay Area right now and are continuing to expand, recruit, and grow.

NetEase Games has a slogan "Game Enthusiast" in China. How do you deliver such spirit to the western players, or in other words, how does NetEase NA office bring the culture and DNA rooted in NetEase Games to the western market?

The spirit of "Game Enthusiast" is consistent with our work in North America as well. All gamers want to play high-quality games and great games turn gamers to game enthusiasts. Western players know this well, it’s part of the spirit of gaming that connects eastern and western markets. For us, the key is to offer western players the types of games they want to play. We work to foster the spirit of our "Game Enthusiast" motto across our activities in western markets, and a big part of that is the non-stop market research and player communication that we do.

NetEase Games chose mobile game as a breakthrough point into western market. Will you consider expanding your business to other platforms in the future?

Good question. We started by focusing on mobile because of the popularity and immense growth of the mobile gaming industry.  The size of the mobile gaming market is immense and, simply put, the best way to get a great game out to the most players is on mobile. But, with that said, we are always open-minded around PC and even console platforms. In China we have a ton of experience and have had much success on these paltforms already.

How do western players differ from Chinese players, according to your study?

Western players have a different taste in terms of the way they play. For instance, western players prefer more exploration elements in their games when compared to gamers in China, and we try to offer more freedom in games that we bring to the west. We’ve also found that western gamers prefer to be immersed in their game and lose track of time, whether they’re on their commute or at home. On the other hand, Chinese users are more comfortable hopping in and out of gameplay. The key to marketing to these different groups is truly understanding them, and we've released several games in the west as tests in order to gain a better understanding of players in that market. In the future we plan to bring more games that are more appealing to western players in terms of game style such as SLG games and games that focus a lot on exploration. We won't give up ARPGs and shooters though because we still want to see whether such games can perform on mobile.

Terminator 2 mobile shooter
Among the games and IPs NetEase Games have, which one do you think is perfect for western market?

We believe established IPs in the west can help us better break into the western market. That's why we signed up for the Terminator 2 IP, and in the past have worked with IPs such as Kungfu Panda and Tom and Jerry. We continue to evaluate and consider further western IPs and we are working with Warner Bros. and Disney closely, for instance.

Now western players are very curious of what games they can play soon or in the future.

We have a good number of games that are coming to the western market this year, and there are two mobile games in particular that I’d like to mention. Great Voyage features ship sailing, trading, naval battles and more, and it's a genre that western players are interested in. The other game is Spark of Space, which is a space battle game for sci-fi fans. It's a hybrid of SLG and RTS. Both games are expected to launch this year and I’m very much looking forward to seeing how they resonate with players in the western market.

Many VR games are presented at E3 this year. How do you feel about the VR market? Do you have any plan for VR games?

VR will change a lot of industries but I think it has already begun to change the game industry. NetEase Games actually starts VR projects very early, from tech to content. We already have a VR game called Twilight Pioneers in development. The game is a fantasy ARPG game with beautiful visuals and it's also a launch title for the Google Daydream platform.

The first image of Twilight Pioneers
That's all of the questions for you. Before we conclude the interview what else do you want to say to western players?

NetEase is a very committed game company. As our slogan suggests, everyone in the company is a game enthusiast whose only mission is to make the best games. We realize that adapting to overseas market is vital, but we will always remain a "Game Enthusiast" company at our core, as we have for years. This year, we will continue to develop games for the western market, bringing gamers in the west great games of the genres and IPs that they are familiar with, while introducing them to new gaming experiences form the east as well. On the other hand, we want to reassure western players that we will develop more games that are based on the genre and IPs they are familiar with, while we will also try to introduce them new experience from the east.
