This time around we are looking to focus on one of the most common and favourite cards out there- The Prince. This deck will focus on Chief Pat’s suggestions on what a good prince deck is. I will also put in my views and feedback but it is safe to say that this is a smart deck with a good offensive base.
This battle strategy can be used in Arena 7 or higher.
BattleDeck:
MiniPekka + The Prince + Zap + Poison Spell + Musketeer + ElixerCollector + Giant + Guards
Use and role of each card:
1.Mini Pekka:
The Mini Pekka packs a punch with every strike. It will ensure that in terms of one on one combat it will cause some serious damage.
Yes, it is a given that the mini pekka is vulnerable against flying unit sand others units that attacks in groups like the skeleton army and the barbarians. However, this deck will look to ensure that every weakness of every deck can be negated and in this case you can use the zap card to negate the mini pekka’s weakness against the skeleton army. You may also use the poison spell or which ever you think is necessary.
2.The Prince:
Every deck looks at a playmaker to shift the game completely to your favour-The Prince is that playmaker on this occasion. The Prince is also another card with great striking capacity but is vulnerable to small and cheap units, so remember to send it along with a backup.
You should also keep in mind that the prince’s initial attack is the best when it goes at the towers with force. Try your best to make this initial attack happen. Chief Pat has advised his followers to send the prince behind the giant. I would advise the same but keeping in mind I have the zap or the posion at my disposal as well to negate their weaknesses.
3.Zap:
The Zap finds its place in this deck purely for a defensive purpose. When your tower is under attack by potentially dangerous troops take them out by using the zap, The Zap will stall them for a second and cause some damage as well leaving the tower the chance the take the troops out.
The Zap is extremely effective against the skeleton army, the minions and the minion horde, so keep him safe so that your opponent exhausts his elixer while not anticipating the zap.
4.PoisonSpell:
ThePoison spell is extremly cruel in its nature. It can cause suffiecient and long lasting damage to the towers, troops and buildings in its range.
The Poison spell must only be placed correctly on the right area and right results will pop up. It is extremely vital in nature. The video will give you a more clearer idia on how to use this spell.
5.Musketeer:
The Musketeer can be used in several ways for several purposes, It can be used against flying troops, to attack the tower etc.
I would suggest sending it behind the giant when on the attack and keeping it considerably away allowing far range shots when on the defense. Each hit from the musketeer is extremely damaging in nature.
6.Elixer Collector:
As I had mentioned in my previous article this game focuses a lot upon elixer advantage and the person with the elixer advantage almost always wins!
You can use the elixer collector for this purpose and get the added advantage in the middle of the battle. The collector is a great tool to create some pressure on your opponent and can also be used as adistraction for defensive purposes.
7.Giant:
The Giant is the most useful card in this deck , in my opinion. As it soaks up the damage to allow other units to strike at ease it can be seen as a very useful defensive commodity.
You may also send it with the zap and posion at your disposal. The zap will ensure that all crowded attacks will prevent significant damage to your giant. The posion will ensure the quick death of the troop that dares to against the giant. Apart from all this each clubbing blow from the giant also adds to its value.
8.Guards:
The guards can be used as defensive units and will help in giving you more time to take tower before your opponent can. The guards will only come to you at arena 7 so you may also try using the goblins in its place. However, the way the goblins should be used and the way the guards should be used completely different. You may refer to the
Golem Based Attack Strategy guide to know how to use the goblins.
The Guards will also help you defend one lane while you can concentrate on attacking another. The guards are a cheap and essential resource as well so you him at the right time against the right troops. Practice will make it easier for you.
Battle Strategy:
Offensive: Prince +Zap/Poison or Prince + Giant
This combination will look to make your attack a complete attack. While the prince looks to attack you may use the zap to clear his away from troops.
You may also use the poison to ensure double damage and can keep yourself away from the threat of the skeleton army or any small unit. The giant will also look to soak up damage and protect the prince. Both of them together can annihilate any tower.
Defensive: Guards, Zap etc
When it comes to defending the guards are effective against the ground troops and the zap against the flying troops like the horde. There are other cards which you canuse for a defensive purpose as well but it is important to realize their role in this deck!
TIPS:
1.It is not very wise to use your elixer collector straight away. You can use it in between the battle to help your Giant and prince.
2.Attack one lane while carefully defending the other.
3.As it is a combination strategy remember to use each card to supplement the other.
3.Use your final sixty seconds wisely, don’t let your opponent rush you and make sure your inferno tower is ready for the attack.
4.Send in your Muskteer considerably away from the target.
5.Watching videos and understanding the role and the weaknesses of every card in your deck will greatly help you.
6.Last of all, like I always say, Have
fun, share and comment away!
