SEGA has held a livestream several future plans for Phantasy Star Online 2 in Japan. Firstly the Reborn: Episode 4 update will go live on January 27, with the new Summoner class and new planet Earth introduced. This time the center stage is set in Japan in the year 2028, and players will face the new type of enemy “Phantom”.




In addition, the release dates for the PlayStation 4 version of Phantasy Star Online 2 was announced. This MMORPG will enter first Closed Beta for PlayStation 4 in the 2nd half of February 2016. It will not require a PlayStation Plus subscription. Players will be able to play online without incurring that additional fee.

GTArcade is presenting their Christmas greeting. To ensure that everyone enjoy the most special holiday of the season, all games worked together to released a Christmas theme page. Players of Magerealm will have a chance to see and purchase Christmas fashion and wings, with a chance to win limited amount of daily gift codes that can be used to redeem great gifts.

Furthermore, Magerealm has worked hard to prepare a lavish in-game Christmas event that comes in three phases. Phase 1 consisted of the X'mas Wheel, X’mas Feast and X’mas Tree. 


 
Phase 2, which is ongoing at the moment, consists the debut of Capricora, our angel of December and the Mysterious Discount Shop. "We hope players are having success with Capricora in their efforts to banish all evil during this time of happy celebrations and that the Mysterious Discount Shop is satiating your desire for shopping," GTArcade says.
 
Phase 3 is going to be exciting because we are announcing the all new Collect the Snowman Event. To continue the celebration of Christmas, the Mage Council has decided to drop gift packs all over Oaklane. Players will be able to gain Gold, Amethyst and miniature snowmans from the gift packs. Snowmans can be used to redeem Letters, once a player collects all necessary letters and can spell 'Merry Christmas', they will receive a great discount on the new Reindeer mount.

It’s frustrating for the game’s developers to have a problem come from an outside source. The developer of The Repopulation has announced that the Alpha Servers are expected to go offline today due to the Hero Engine issues. In the meanwhile, the development has been temporarily suspended. The Repopulation is powered by Hero Engine, and Above and Beyond Technologies, the developers of Hero Engine, are in the financial difficulty. We hope that The Repopulation Hero Engine issues will be fixed soon.

We are sad to announce that as of Wednesday, 23 December, The Repopulation Alpha servers will be taken offline following negotiations with Above and Beyond Technologies. Given the options we presented ABT management with, they opted for taking Alpha servers offline.

We continue to support Above and Beyond Technologies as best we can. Development servers for all games have and will remain online, including the ones for The Repopulation game. Although we still have additional negotiations to conduct, we hope that these will be finished soon and we will have good news for the fans of The Repopulation in the new year.

Days ago, we reported that Mount & Blade Style Siege MMO Tiger Knight Launching on Steam Next Year. Many players showed highly expectation to this third person action RPG. NowTiger Knight is celebrating its first Christmas. Tiger Knight act as Santa Claus to satisfy players’ needs. The first weapon debut for this big Christmas feature content is Xi Liang weapon with good appearance and better power ability. Xi Liang troop is a group of the valiant warriors in Tiger Knight. They are kind of barbarian and don't fear of death. 





PVE mode is available at the end of the second beta test. The powerful weapon from Xi Liangtroops is very outstanding. These featured weapons including shield, sword, axe and other ranged weapons.

Tiger Knight integrates the elements of the minority into its weapon system. One of the most representative one is the Xi Liang shield and sword. Although Xi Liang shield has low durability, it has wider defense area and makes up for its weakness. And Xi Liang sword focus on combat and is suitable for ambush and kill while chasing.

Most gear in Monster Hunter Online can only be obtained through crafting and therefore you'll be going to need gold and silver to purchase materials, potions, meat, and so on. There several ways to gain a stable income, some of which are easy and some are a little bit difficult.
 
Use all daily hunting tickets
 
Hunting ticket (狩猎票) is your certificate to enter hunting zone and it's a valuable item for hunters. Everyday you get 10 tickets (you can also get hunting tickets from events and cash shop) so make sure every time you enter hunting zone you sweep all herbs, mines, fruits, bones you can see in the map first and then move to your hunting target. The materials you gather may not be what you want, but don't worry, they can be sold in auction house in the town of梅杰波尔坦.

Bounty missions
 
These are the most difficult daily missions you can do. They require you to do various tasks such as capture, sabotage, knockdown, and limited time quests, etc. Two difficulties can be chosen: hard mode rewards you tradable gold coins while easy mode rewards you non-tradable silver coins. So choose wisely.

Side missions
 
Usually side mission gives a good number of silver coins. Unfortunately, unlike other MMORPGs, Monster Hunter Online doesn't have a lot of side missions.

Daily login rewards
 
Each day you login the game you can receive rewards. If you log into the game for 5 successive days you have a chance to get 6000 silver coins from the rewards. What's more, each half an hour you'll receive another bag and when you remain online for 2 hours, you get a tier 5 bag. Last but not least, there are level-up bags that you can get for reaching certain levels. You can gain many silver coins from these bags.

Trial mode (千狩试炼)
 
At level 25 you can unlock trial mode (千狩试炼) at the town of 梅杰波尔坦 through a mission. There are a total of 7 levels in this mode, and as you climb to higher level, you'll face tougher enemies. It's strongly recommended to challenge high level trials in group.

Look back on 2015, we've had a fruitful year with a constantly growing community. Months ago, we reported a new collectible card game titledValhalla Lost developed by Proficient City Limited. After closed beta test ended a couple of months ago, Valhalla Lost begins open beta test today. And Android players can download it from Google Play now while iPhone players need to wait a little bit.



Valhalla Lost is actually a CCG blended with an RPG, so players have an actual storyline to follow, quests, and a leveling up system as well. Choosing from one of 4 heroes at the start of the game, with each having multiple hero skills. Valhalla Lost is based on Nordic mythology, so do the characters.









Once you've picked who you want to play as, you will then set off into the world summoning gods, demon, dragons and more to help your character battle across the world tree. You will have a skill system available for your hero, but both heroes and monsters within your deck can be equipped with armor and weapons.

Besides from the single-player content, multiplayer PvP battles are also available. This is pretty standard for TCG/CCG titles to have, and you will just be battling it out with a player you've been matched up with using your deck of choice. There are two different options for PvP fights: Bar Fights, which is just an unranked PvP system for random battles, and League Matches which is all about ranked PvP.

With the Christmas just around the corner, Tencent Games, the developer behind CryEngine 3 MMO Monster Hunter Online, is presenting the Christmas greeting in game for all hunters who log in the accounts of Monster Hunter Online at two certain points in time this weekend. This event is called "Keeping Online", and first “Keeping Online” event started during last weekend. Please note that all the time in this article based on GMT+8.

Lately, report says that NCsoft is recruiting secretly for their unannounced FPS project. The job vacancies include Concept Artist, System Designer, 3D Character Concept Artist, UI Designer and others.

NCsoft has been long focusing on MMORPG and by far have only one MMOFPS titled Project HON which development got ceased in May this year. We could conjecture boldly that NCsoft will probably start a new FPS project or reboot Project HON.

A player who is playing Black Desert in the Russian server just shared a batch of images that feature the snowy night in the game. The environment is pretty much like the end of world in the fantasy game, giving me a cold and lonely feeling. Nonetheless, the weather and night effect is unique and can't be seen in many other MMORPGs. The NA/EU version will also have such environment where you may need to use a lantern to light up your way. Daum mentioned before that they were planning to add lantern to the game.
