First and foremost the game's combat is cover-based as the game strips away the move aspect and fully focuses on the shooting part. Environment interaction
In PvE you can make use of the fuel buckets in the scene to kill multiple targets at one shot. Shoot and blow an enemy vehicle will surely kill the enemies near it and if the vehicle happens to carry troops, the explosion will make sure they never come out to shoot you. As for PvP you have to move from cover to cover to gain vantage and on the other hand, you can destroy opponents' cover to expose them in open environment. It gives you the opportunity to carry out different tactics.

Titan Ops are fun
While the campaign mode is an arcade style mode that puts you against waves of enemies, the Titian Ops let you play the as secret agent who does different types of missions from assassination to sabotage. Cutscenes are widely used in this mode.
Progression is everywhere
Unlike other shooter that offers simple character progression, Fusion War allows you upgrade many aspects, including guns, armors, and NPC companions. You can advance your weapon to next tier when it reaches max level in current tier. You can upgrade the above things with materials or coins you earn from playing the game, or you can purchase the materials through in-app purchase. Last but not least you can craft upgrade parts and add-ons through a R&D system, further enhancing your gear.
Personal rank offers additional stat bonuses to your character and it can be promoted in Range of Honor mode.

RPG and strategy elements
In the combat you can have up to 3 active abilities to use. These abilities can either recover your heath, or offers you alternative ways to damage the enemies — for instance, throwing grenades. You can bring out heavy weapons such as mini-gun, which is like the ultimate ability in RPGs.

The game introduces in a performance rating system that calculates your combat at the end of each PvE level. In order to get more rewards you should complete a level as fast as possible while try to get higher kill streak, more headshots, and so on. Battle raid boss with friends and other players, or test your mettle in 1v1, 2v2 or 5v5 PvP modes. What's more, all PvP modes are fought by players in real time.
