Should Pre-Order Black Desert Online Now or Wait?

$

0
You've probably heard of Black Desert Online, and might even be in the first closed beta test right now. Many people looking for a new Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) are watching Black Desert Online closely in order to see if it's good enough to warrant a pre-order. I've been playing the closed beta for a few days, and I'm here to answer that question.

So should you pre-order now or should you wait? Finding that answer requires a few a fundamental questions about the game that I'll address to help guide your decision.

Is There Enough Content?
This is a resounding "yes." Black Desert Online has one of the biggest, richest, and most detailed worlds I've ever encountered, and I've barely scratched the surface. You'll find so many different things to do at every turn. There are countless quests of course, but it's the Player vs. Player (PVP) battles, and incredibly deep economy that really give this game its depth. The game world is breathing with life and bustling with activity, meaning exploring alone is worth a lion's share of your time. If I'm sure about anything, it's that you won't run out of things to do anytime soon in Black Desert Online.

Is the Client Stable?
For a closed beta test, the client has been wonderfully stable and highly responsive. I've only ever had a few small hiccups where I jumped a few seconds forward, and that could've been issues on my end. There were hundreds of players in a small starting area at the beta's launch, and no one appeared to be having problems. The servers powered through and the game feels completely ready to support a large community. I don't foresee any client stability issues at the official launch.

Is it Polished or Buggy?
Black Desert Online has already been out in Korea for some time, which probably leads to its polished nature. I didn't encounter a single bug in 10+ hours of play, and haven't heard complaints from anyone else. The world looks complete, the characters and armor are finished, questlines are functional, and the engine feels refined. The only problem right now are some localization issues. Many of the game's translations aren't perfect, and some menus and quests can seem awkward because of that. It's mostly a minor annoyance, and certainly never impacted progression in the game. Once you get used to it, you'll settle into the world and focus on the player interactions and economy system that drives your entertainment.

Will I Enjoy the Game?
If you like Eastern-style MMORPGs, I think you'll love Black Desert Online. It has so much depth and potential, and of course it's absolutely stunning at every turn. Players accustomed to more casual MMORPGs might feel overwhelmed by the density and challenge this one present. The combat system is far more active and skill-based. The quests and progression is far less narrow and guided. The game systems are complex and require a lot of attention and learning to really master. If you're looking for a casual stroll through a fantasy world, this might not be for you. But anyone who wants a living and engrossing experience with lots of spare hours to spend will absolutely adore everything Black Desert Online has to offer.

Are the Pre-Order Options Valuable?
If you visit BlackDesertOnline.com, you can see the various pre-order options. There are three tiers you can purchase, starting at $30, a middle tier at $50, and a final option at $100. They each provide a nice bundle of in-game content and limited pre-order bonuses. The in-game content will give you a head start on cosmetics, but won't aid in progression directly. The pre-order only content will allow you access the game earlier, and provide guaranteed naming rights. If you want to get into the game as soon as possible, then pre-ordering is obviously the way to go. You can gain up to a 4-day head start when it comes to leveling and acquiring resources. All in all, the items included certainly do make pre-ordering a valuable option if you're planning to buy the game at all.

So should you pre-order now or wait? Hopefully my answers will help you make that decision. All I know for sure is that I've been enjoying my time in Black Desert Online. It took a little while to grow on me, but it's been an incredibly rewarding experience ever since.

Monster Hunter Online FAQ For Both New and Old Hunters

$

Monster Hunter Online finally started the open beta yesterday and all players around the world can play the game thanks to the "no ip block" policy. Below I made a FAQ for new hunters and also a FAQ for veteran hunters who just started playing but met some problems due to the lanague barrier. I'll keep updating this post if I found more questions that can be added in this FAQ.

FAQ for new hunters

Q: What are the core features of MHO?

A: The core feature of MHO lies in just one word - hunting. Playing in the primeval and lifelike world, fighting with huge boss is the hardcore of MHO. The unique hunting mode in MHO goes straight into the theme. You don't have to clean out the other small creeps but just face off the boss monster. So on the whole, MHO is kinda like a game based on dungeons. It is not the traditional MMORPGs like World of Warcraft where you'll have some wild PvE stuff.

Q: What's the PC requirement to play MHO?

A:  Recommended PC requirement:

Windows 7/8/8.1(32/64 bit operating system)
Intel Core i3 processors
Internal storage 4G
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB or above
DirectX 11*

PS: You can also download the
English Benchmarkto have a test.

But it can also run with a
HD 7560D graphics card, 1.8G CPU and 4G Internal storage. Of course, with a more powerful PC, you can have better visual experience in MHO.

Q: What are the main charge points in MHO? Is it free to play?

A: MHO is a free-to-play game. The main charge points are the non-
attribute granted outfits which will just give hunters more unique appearance and the Tencent VIP Membership which will offer VIP exclusive log-in access, daily gift, portable mailbox as well as discounts for purchasing other cash shop items.

Q: What are the differences between MHO and the other MH games in other platform?

A: MHO's graphics have reached the "next-gen" standard. Besides those familiar monsters in the MH series (they'll add all monsters in MHO in the future), Tencent also added some new original monsters designed by the develop team, like the Star Dragon in the 4th closed beta back in April, 2015. In addition, some new systems are added in the online version, such as the new weapons, the team hunting and group hunting mode.

Q: Is MHO friendly to new players?

A: It is not that hard for new players to begin. Tencent has adjusted some systems for beginners so the monsters players will face at the early stage won't be too hard.

Q: What classes does MHO have and what is suitable for beginners to play?

A: There is no "class" concept in MHO but only different weapons for players to choose and hunters can switch weapons freely. For beginners, Sword and Shield, Tachi and Great Sword are good choices but that might not fit everyone so I would recommend you go to the weapon
instructor and try all the weapons so you'll know what fit you best.

Q: What's the level cap now in MHO?

A: Right now, the level cap is 40. When hunters level up to 40, it will open the HR (Hunter Rank) level, which is also an honor sign of hunters.

Q: Will we need to spend a lot of time in MHO? Are there any daily quests in the game?

A: Nope, Tencent would like players to use their "
fragment time" to play MHO. The single boss hunting time has been optimized so even you are an office worker, you can still use some of your spare time to have fun in the game. As for the daily quest, there are some but if you don't have much time to complete all of them, you can accumulate them in the following days.

Q: How is the cash shop in MHO?

A: You'll find everything here: http://2p.com/37833896_1/Monster-Hunter-Online-Cash-Shop-Prices-for-VIP-Costumes-and-More-by-Aaron.htm

Q: Will PvP available in MHO?

A: No, there is no PvP in MHO. The team and group hunting modes are also about PvE.

Q: How to register and install MHO?

A: You just need a QQ account and a MHO client to play. Check out this detailed guide and make sure you follow all the steps.

Q: Will MHO come to the western market? Is there any English patch?

A: Well, we can't really answer this question well but as far as we know, there's no words on the western version yet. The whole UI in MHO is in Chinese. For the English patch, Tencent does not oppose it if MHO western players make one.

Q: What should I do with this error when installing?

A: If you get scrambled texts like this, you will need to change your system locale to Simplified Chinese (PRC) if you haven't.

Go to control panel -> region and language -> Administrative ->  change system locale.

Once you are in the “change system locale” area scroll down to find Chinese (Simplified, PRC) and select that option.

You will be prompted to restart your computer so follow the instruction and restart your computer.

Q: What does this error mean?

A: That means something goes wrong when the client is trying to patch automatically. Please click the orange text link, which will direct you to the MHO official website and you have to download the corresponding patch manually at http://mho.qq.com/download.shtml.

Q: What does this error mean?

A: That means the servers are under maintenance so it failed to connect to the server. Please try again later. Click the orange link will direct you to the MHO official website for more info.

Q: What does this error mean?

A: It means "sorry, character creation in this server is not available any more. Please choose another server to play."

Q: I successfully installed MHO. But it automatically add these programs. Can I uninstall all of them?

A: First of all, when you are in the final step of installation, be very careful and make sure you unchecked the 2nd option before opening the MHO client.

But if you didn't pay attention to that and already installed some unrelated Tencent programs, try to go to control panel and click uninstall. To play MHO, only a QQ account and a MHO client are needed so it's safe you uninstall those programs. If you failed in uninstalling some program, like "qqlive", here is how to do (thanks Thomas Wharf from our MHO FB page):

"Usually I just go to control panel and click uninstall, but for some reason qqlive didn't show up. I couldn't manually delete it because, despite closing it with taskmanager, a .dll file was still running. I finaly resorted to seeing if one of my anti-virus would flag it as a PUP(potentialy unwanted program) thankfully adwcleaner did!"

If you have better ways to unstall those annoying programs, please comment below and let me know!

Q: I put in my QQ account and password but I got this error, what should I do?

or this error:

A: The message says "it's logging" but if you are sure you have typed right QQ account and password but still stuck with this error, try to change your QQ password (click here: http://aq.qq.com/en/index/en_index) and don't use any non character symbols like "#+^~*@ etc", keep the password only characters + numbers.

Q: Anyone know what does the orange text says for when I try to write a character name?

A: It says "Please wait patiently while the game is loading character info". It should be the problem of network connection. Try log out and log in again.

Q: What does this error mean?

A: It means "the game launcher is running. Please don't run it repeatly". Check if you are running two game launchers or kill one of the launchers in the task manager.

Q: Why I am having this Error IIPS_IFS_LOAD_ERROR(7)?

A: If you are having this error, it means your MHO client is imperfect. You have to reinstall the latest client again.

Q: What does it mean?

A: That means you are in the queue! VIP members will get in the game faster.

Q: I need help understanding the quest because I all UI is in Chinese and I don't understand a single word! QAQ

A: You can use
google translator on android to translate chinese by making a photo.

                        Hit the camera button

Take a photo, mark the Text with your finger, the translation will be shown on top!

This tips comes from our MHO FB fan "Pascal Flocka Flame", thanks a lot <3

Tree of Savior CBT 2 Review

$
0
0
Highly anticipated by fans, Tree of Savior has been glorified as the worthy successor of Ragnarok Online and fits perfectly in the new line of Hack'n'Slach/Action-RPG MMOs that have been trendy lately. But if Tree of Savior shows the atmosphere and features of RO, will it be able to modernize the concept enough to stick to the demands of the players, always prone to nostalgia, but more demanding than ever?

Following the appearance of a magic tree, the goddess responsible for protecting human seems to have disappeared. It is in the resulting chaos that you'll have to defend yourself while assisting the average mortals when the opportunity presents itself. Let it be said, you will not be playing Tree of Savior for the quality of its scenario, so no need to linger there any longer than that and let's move on to the creation of your character.

Unfortunately, it is with the customization of your character that Tree of Savior marks its first faux-pas. If the choice of a class among only four archetypes will seem relatively small at first, you will see later on that this is, paradoxically, one of the qualities of the title. The lack of customization is here purely aesthetic. Apart from the selection a gender and a haircut, it will not be possible to change the appearance of your character. A particularly questionable choice from the developers considering the high interest of players when it comes the cosmetic customization of their characters.

Once the character has been created, you will be thrown into a series of quests that will work as a tutorial of sorts. Very classic, this is the opportunity for you to take the game into your hands and test one of three configurations possible stake; mouse and keyboard, joystick or keyboard only. None of the configurations are entirely free of defects, or appear to have an concrete advantage over the other, even if the community appears to give greater consideration to the joystick.

Graphically, the game is nothing exceptional, but remains quite enjoyable. Not because of a last generation engine that seems to copy/paste the graphics from other popular games, but through a unique aesthetic in its pastel tone, and a singular artistic direction. Consisting of 2D sprites in a 3D world, and a stylized manga chara-design, the game offers a diverse and enchanting bestiary, more than enough to compensate for the quality of textures that sometimes look a bit feeble. The downside with this artistic orientation is that it makes it much harder to forgive the fps issues that are unfortunately rather common in the game. But considering that the game has yet to launch in the west, optimization issues might be fixed eventually
.
The sound quality is, again, rather average, but strangely enthralling. If the sound effects perfectly stick to the visual style, it is the peculiarity of the BGM of Tree of Savior that will catch your attention. Extremely varied, those will jump from a Heroic Fantasy melodies, to the rhythms of "techno" style musical compositions.

Who says Korean MMORPG says constant grind? Unfortunately, or fortunately for fans of the genre, Tree of Savior fits this description all too well. Players will level by killing mobs, running dungeons, and through traditional quests: kill X monsters, recover X objects, activate such or such device, etc. Nothing particularly innovative, but the game does have the merit of making this grind optimized for groups (party members sharing monster kills and loot), as well as offering a rather useful teleport system when completing quests.

With the tutorial completed, you're free to evolve in an open universe. At least that's what one would expect from a MMO. Second main faux-pas for Tree of Savior, the game is extremely linear, painfully so. Consisting of maps that will feel more like corridors, it will not be possible to browse the map freely. You will need to move from one zones to another, according to the order set by the game. Trying skip a few a few steps by going to high level maps before your time will only lead to you being powerless against the monsters, with death even being punished through EXP loss. Knowing that the game is designed for players to reroll multiple characters, it will be hard not to get bored after the second or third one.

Now let's talk about what makes the strength of Tree of Savior. Nothing particularly innovative for former players of Ragnarok Online, but the interest of the title lies in the selection and evolution of your character's. In Tree of Savior, your character has two experience bars. One established as the level of your character, and the other relating to the level of your class. The level of your character is everything you'd expect from a classic MMORPG: at each level up, the characters are are assigned points to be used in in 5 categories: Strength, Stamina, Intelligence, Wisdom and Dexterity. These categories affect the secondary statistics such as health, critical chance or mana regeneration.

The class level is a little more complex, but truly the most interesting part of the game and the main reason for which you should play it. At each grade level, you can choose a skill to upgrade your class or choose a new one. For every 15 class levels reached, you can specialize your character by choosing to increase the strength of your current class, or pick one from any of your unlocked classes. For example, upon reach class level 15, a Circle 1 Wizard will be able to choose between upgrading its class to Circle 2 Wizard (unlocking higher upgrades for their current skills, as well as a couple of new ones), or changing their classe to any of the available ones, namely the Circle 1 Pyromancer and the Circle 1 Cryomancer.

To make things better, Tree of Savior allows you to combine a multitude of skills from different classes to model your character. Indeed, even if you choose to move from the Wizard to the Pyromancer, you will be able to use the skills from both classes as you wish. Knowing that developers have announced no less than 80 classes for the game's release, you can expect a huge deal of customization in this aspect.

And of course, with such a huge variety of skills, combat is also quite fun in Tree of Savior. A few classes aside, most of the skillsets in Tree of Savior are extremely well thought out and animated, and each Rank upgrade will not fail to show you how powerful your character became. Even more so considering that at higher levels, you can easily kill dozens of enemies in just a few hits. However, that is no reason to let your guard down as bosses can be just as powerful. While they do have a rather simple AI setting at the moment, you don't want to linger around and take the full effects of their AoEs.

Conclusion

Due to the linearity of the game, its corridor maps, its lack of difficulty in mob encounters and far from exciting quests, it would be quite legitimate to give Tree of Savior a negative assessment move on. Yet, the game offers a rich gaming experience and remains pretty addictive as a niche Title. Moreover, between PvP (rumors speak of guild PvP), PvE raids or numerous rumors/theorycrafts of "end game" content, Tree of Savior still seems to have more tricks up its sleeve. A game that everyone should try at least once, but not all will like.

Black Desert Online Housing System Guide For Beginners

$
0
0
Housing systems, while not present in all of them, have always been an important part of MMORPGs. They give players a place to call their own, where they can relax, and that they can customize and/or use for various activities. With Black Desert Online slightly leaning towards a Sandbox theme, it could be no exception to this rule. It is even an essential element in the enjoyment of several aspects of this game.

The houses in Black Desert Online indeed have many utilities. You could, for example, invite friends or bring members of your guild there, to have a chat, and show off your interior designer skills. Crafters will also be able to install facilities in their homes to avoid paying to use those available publicly.

Houses will also be pretty convenient to traders, offering them a place to store goods that they can then sell when the prices go up and they make the most profit.

Some houses also have additional features that will provide players with unique activities on their own. For example, some of them will have auxiliary spaces for agriculture where it will be possible to grow fruits and vegetables that you can then sell in the different markets. Other will have a direct impact on the economic system of the game, allowing players to hire special NPCs who will sell your goods (crops, crafts, etc.) to other players directly inside of your home. A shop of sorts.

How to acquire a home?

Unfortunately, and despite in numerous Sandbox traits, Black Desert Online does not allow players to build their houses. The accommodations available are pre-built, just waiting to be acquired by a player. The game offers thousands of location in different parts of the map.

But keep in mind that the ownership of a house is not set in stone. Once a house is rented, you will be required to pay a special tax. In case of default of payment, the house will be back on the market so that other players may be able to rent it, and any possession you had stocked there will be mailed to you.

This is due to the fact that the number of houses available is limited. Due to the population of servers, it will be impossible to guarantee that everyone will be able to obtain house. It should also be noted that once a house is back in the market, everyone will have a chance to acquire it. Instead of a first come, first served system, Black Desert Online introduces a bidding system for the acquisition of home, the highest bidder by the time bidding period ends winning it.

Finally, keep in mind that when you acquire a house, it will be completely empty. You will then be required to furnish and decorate it to your tastes. Furniture can either be purchased, or crafted by the players themselves (by hiring a worker), offering a great deal of possibilities. And in addition to looking good, some furniture items can provide buffs to your character.

As you can see, owning a house in Black Desert Online provides various benefits, making acquiring one early in the game (when prices are still low) quite worthwhile.

Can't Decide Which Class to Play in Black Desert? Here's the Guide

Black Desert has started closed beta in the west and thousands of western players are finally able to get their hands on the game but may still be unsure of which class to choose because the official site doesn't give a lot of information on classes. That's why I made thus guide, with my personal point of views on each class. I know a greater number of players are still waiting for their tickets so I hope this guide can also work as a topic of which class you are going to play in next beta, open beta, or at launch.

After you finish reading, tell us which class is your first choice

Warrior/Valkyrie

Difficulty ★★☆
Attack  ★★★☆
Defense ★★★★★
Evasion ★★☆
Mobility ★★☆
Combos ★★★

Pure melee classes with outstanding defense/block. They can be seen as tanks in MMORPGs with "holy trinity" class system but their trait of taking damage for teammates is only obvious in PvP although they do have best physical damage resistance in PvE.

They don't have great combos but they (especially Valkyrie) got lots of CC abilities, most of which can knock down the enemy. With such good CC abilities, it really doesn't matter they are not good at evading enemy attack.

So generally Warrior/Valkyrie has great survival ability in solo PvE farming. However, they aren't very effective solo farming machine.

Ranger

Difficulty ★★★☆
Attack  ★★★★
Defense ★★★
Evasion ★★★★
Mobility ★★★★
Combos ★★

She's underdog in terms of combo and defense but her 10% move speed bonuses greatly increases the mobility and survival chance in both PvE and PvP, especially when combined with appropriate skills.

Ranger doesn't have the deadliest attack but she's capable of doing common farming, even without a good weapon.

Like the similar classes in other MMOs, Ranger has the CC ability to draw a distance from enemies and keep dealing damage. Be noted that Ranger relies on high accuracy more than any other class.

Witch

Difficulty ★★★★
Attack ★★★★☆
Defense ★★★
Evasion ★★★☆
Mobility ★★★☆
Combos ★★★★

Don't take it for grant, she's not an entire ranged mage. In fact she's half melee and half ranged class. What makes her special is the ability to boost the whole party's attack power in PvE and PvP. That makes Witch a popular choice in group battle such as boss fight. This is also a class that requires some practice to master.

Berserker

Difficulty ★★★☆
Attack  ★★★★★
Defense  ★★★★★
Evasion  ★★☆
Mobility ★★☆
Combos ★★★

Compared with other classes, a sophisticated control will make Berserker capable of fighting multiple enemies and doing AoE attacks. Berserker can leap onto the enemies and make some brutal smashes. If you like the feeling of being a juggernaut and making devastating attacks, Berserker is your first choice. He also has some CC abilities such as stun and grip. If there's any hold-off for me, it should be the poor mobility and unimpressive appearance.

Tamer

Difficulty  ★★★
Attack ★★★☆
Defense ★★★
Evasion  ★★★★☆
Mobility ★★★
Combos ★★★☆

She's very different from Blade & Soul's Summoner. Tamer is a melee class with shining skills that remind me of Chinese martial arts. She can only summon a black werewolf-ish creature at the moment. Besides, the werewolf can become a mount. Her outstanding evade ability make up for the lack of defense power. On the other hand, she's definitely not a class with high burst damage. Most of the CC abilities can knock down the enemy.

Male Blader/Female Blader

Difficulty ★★★
Attack ★★★★
Defense ★★★★
Evasion ★★☆
Mobility ★★★★★
Combos ★★★☆

They are melee classes with only one ranged skill. Similar to Warrior/Valkyrie, they use stun and knock-down as CC abilities. Without impressive offensive and defensive power, they stand out from other classes with highly mobile ability, most notably, the charge skill (no cooldown). Another thing you may like is Blader gets more effective HP recovery ability. Blader is an easy-to-learn class in PvE but pretty difficult to play in PvP.

Sorceress

Difficulty ★★★☆
Attack ★★★★★
Defense ★★☆
Evasion ★★☆
Mobility ★★★
Combos ★★★

Analysis: Sorceress has obvious advantages and disadvantages at the same time. She boasts the most powerful ranged attack but she's also the most vulnerable one among all classes. What's more, her skills drain a lot of mana and make her unable to keep casting the deadly spells. Last but not least, she gets magnificent AoE power but poor mobility.

Kunoichi

Difficulty  ★★★★★
Attack ★★★★★
Defense ★★
Evasion ★★
Mobility ★★★☆
Combos ★★★★★

With the most powerful attack among all classes and the most vulnerable armor (yes she's more vulnerable than Sorceress), Kunoichi is the most difficult class to play in Black Desert. That means if you are hit by a stun or knock down, you better pray that your opponent make some terrible mistake and fail to send you back to respawn site. On the other hand, Kunoichi has mediocre AoE power and long cooldown time. Fortunately she has pretty lots of CC skills.

At last I want to mention that in Black Desert, characters under the same account share the "fatigue", "contribution point", and most armors and accessories. What does that mean? It means it's a lot easier to progress an alternative character.

Nexon Korea has soft launched its new collectible RPG Medal Masters for Android in select locations.

The background story for this game narrates that players set out to rescue a large amount of heroes who have been cursed for some reason. Once you rescue a cursed hero and help the hero return to normal, you will have the option of having them join your roster of characters. That is to say that you can collect a lot of different heroes for yourself to use when playing.

With Blitz System, you could launch your skills at the right time and make them more powerful during that attack.

Medal Masters

Currently, Medal Masters is only available for residents in Australia and Malaysia on Google Play. The schedule for global release has not been confirmed, but probably in January 2016.

Pokémon Go Is Recruiting Beta Testers now

Days ago, we reported Niantic opens Japanese studio to speed up Pokémon Go development. Recently, John Hanke, CEO of Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go talked about the latest details of the game. Pokemon Go is set to release in 2016, and players who want to join in the beta test can head over thebeta access website to know more.

Pokémon Go looks to follow in the footsteps of Ingress, letting players find virtual Pokémon and do battle in the real world, powered by GPS. Niantic broke away from Google after the Alphabet reorganization.

Different Pokémons locate in the different regions of the world according to countries and the unique living environment. For example, you can find water featured Pokémon near the water. In this way, the trades between players and players will be highly promoted. Nintendo can do help to the development of global tourism. And I hope the rare Pokémons have better not to exist in those countries that are far away from us.

And Pokémon Go can benefit from Ingress in the aspects of holding huge real-world events, developing an engaging, on-going narrative, building and selling more physical accessories, introducing exciting, varied missions, emphasising territorial control and tribal gameplay and developing real-world brand partnerships.

Besides, Pokémon Go will also have Camp System as same as Ingress. And there will be more than two camps in Pokémon Go. Players can choose to join in camp and fight against other camps.

Gamevil’s New Anime RPG Nine Hearts Soft Launched on Android

GAMEVIL have soft-launched their latest action-packed online mobile RPG Nine Hearts. The current version is available exclusively on Google Play in "Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and New Zealand." A full global release will follow soon.

There are 3 main protagonists in the game, the pervert Warrior Tylus, the Archer Rurika and Artemisia the Mage. The main plot for the game is to follow the 3 protagonists in their adventure to find all 9 elemental Hearts. The story’s really interesting and I suggest all of you to take your time and read the text. Who doesn’t like a pervert boy as your main character?

Players can swap around and decide which character to play before entering a Dungeon. I suggest playing either the Warrior or Archer at the start of the game until you get better skill cards to equip your Mage. Players can equip allies who act as your “skills” in the game. Like most Korean breeding games, the usual Combination and Evolve System applies. Apparently, the game has up till the SSS rank.

There are 3 different types of controls during battle; Manual, Semi and Auto. In the manual mode, Players will need to control your characters by tapping on the empty spots. Your character will automatically attack when you’re near an enemy. Skills or rather allies can be summoned by tapping its portrait. I have one complain though, the cooldown for the skills is actually quite long thus you really need to ration your attacks.

Key features:

– One-touch navigation controls
– State of the art graphics

– Extensive game modes: Arena, Labyrinth, Time Rifts, Raid Boss and more
– In-depth character and item customization

– Play and chat with your friends in real-time
– Three unique classes to embark on a new epic journey

Nine Hearts is said to be just a taste of what GAMEVIL have planned for 2016. We will keep you updated as more titles are announced.

Gamespot's Top 25 Games of 2015

$

So we are almost at the end of 2015 and it is the time when we will see all kinds of leaderboards in gaming websites. Wellknown game media Gamespot has posted their own list of the top 25 games of 2015. Among them, we ony saw three MMOs in the list, which are the multiplayer shooter Evolve, Blizzard's MOBA Heroes of the Storm and Rocket League, a multiplayer physics-based vehicle soccer game.

Top 24 - Evolve

Few AAA games took as many risks as Evolve this year, and even fewer managed to succeed. In a genre awash with me-too experiences, Evolve turns the multiplayer shooter on its head through its distinctive 4v1 structure. Playing as one member of a team of four hunters evokes the deep cooperation required in games like Left 4 Dead (little wonder given developer Turtle Rock was responsible for that Valve classic), while playing solo as one of Evolve's towering monsters scratches a very different itch. Whether you're a dedicated team player or a lone wolf, Evolve has something for you.

Make no mistake: if you aren't ready to embrace the game's complexities, then Evolve could easily turn out to be much less than the sum of its parts. But when you have a great team around you--as well as an equally proficient monster player--Evolve truly shines. Other games can either give you the thrill of being an all-conquering solo player or the satisfaction of working as part of a well-oiled team. Evolve, on its best days, provides both.

Top 22- Heroes of the Storm

It was only a matter of time before Blizzard presented us with its own take on the MOBA genre. Populated with characters from various Blizzard universes, Heroes of the Storm is a streamlined and light-hearted approach to MOBAs. Gameplay elements traditionally found in the genre have been refined in Heroes to create a more accessible, entry-level experience. Each map contains unique objectives to encourage teams to clash more often, ensuring that the action keeps on rolling. The game also places an emphasis on teamwork over individual performance, which helps to reduce the rampant toxicity that often plagues the genre. Even if you've had your fill of MOBAs, Heroes of the Storm offers countless hours of fun.

Top 2 - Rocket League

Rocket League is ostensibly a soccer game, but without referees and an overabundance of rules. Instead of traditional players, teams are comprised of RC cars, and they battle for goals by driving and flipping into a massive soccer ball, praying they hit it at just the right angle to send it into an ever-so-small net. It is as ridiculous as it sounds, but therein lies the charm. Rocket League matches can be orderly or chaotic depending on who's playing, but no matter the state of a match, everyone has a blast.

It's a difficult game to master, but it's also incredibly easy to pick up. Anyone can learn how to accelerate and steer a car and, with a little practice, perform powerful flips that make for authoritative shots and passes. Rocket League makes the simple act of movement fun by removing boundaries and obstacles; instead of running into a wall, you drive up them with your momentum intact. In other sports games, your first engagements can feel like a chore as you test the limits of the mechanics and learn how to control different positions. Rocket League has zero barriers, allowing you to have fun from the start. It's one of the most accessible and unique sports games ever made, and the best competitive game of 2015.

Full top 25 games of 2015 can be found on Gamespot.

Bandai Namco’s brand-new One Piece game titled One Piece: Thousand Storm (One Piece Thousand Storm/ONE PIECEサウザンドストーム) kicked off its closed beta test on Android. The test going to runs until December 22, 2015 (15:00 local Japan time) and all the players from the CBT going to receive a Chooper card what you can use in the full version of the game when it's release. Check out the new promotional video below to know more about the gameplay.

To fresh up your memory, One Piece: Thousand Storm is dubbed a united pirates RPG, which share similar graphics to last year’s 3DS exclusive Super Grand Battle X.

Players can form a maximum team of three by using the iconic characters from One Piece universe such as Luffy, Zoro, Chopper, and Trafalgar Law.

Here are new screenshots updated by Bandai:

Each character in the game has various skills. In multi-player battles, the characters can move automatically and players need to trigger skills sometimes. And players can also interact freely with others.

Many famous scenes will appear as the gorgeous card. Only if players collect “scene card", the characters will level-up.
